We are deep into our 10 day stay, and wouldn't change a thing! We LOVE that this resort is adjacent to the preserve, and all the pristine scenery it has to offer. It's end of the road location was very desirable to us, and the daily commutes by bike or on foot into town have been highlights of our visit...

Las Nobues is a lovely place to stay!! You are away from the noise (other than the sound of the water lapping ashore)! The grounds are meticulously cared for and any problem is fixed immediately, if not sooner! The groundskeepers are always smiling and greeting you with a "BUENOS DIAS". The dining is right on the water whether on the...

We stayed here for 3 days last year & LOVED it--this year we come back for 2 weeks Very nice place & food. Very elegant & exquisite. The is seaweed (it's the ocean). Plan on 2 weeks again next year. NO REGRETS!!! All staff was GREAT. People complain about seaweed. The seaweed is left there to benefit the food chain,...

Thank you so much for your review. You definitely got the real magic sense of being in such a wonderful place like Holbox. More often, being in Las Nubes de Holbox which is a place where mother nature is respected. Yes, there is many people who does not understand that we are below of what nature brings, and that is...

My family and I stayed here for 7 nights over Christmas 2016 and whilst we absolutely loved Holbox our stay at Las Nubes was not great. The location is possibly good for anyone not wanting to experience the island but be warned it is surrounded by jungle so beyond infested with mosquitos and because it is the very end of...

First, this hotel is located at the far end of the island, which makes it very remote and private. As such, there is a real sense of tranquility and you feel thousands of miles away. You are at the end of the long beach and as you look to the east, you only see water and more beach and what...

I want to give this hotel a great review because the food, staff, rooms and pool are very nice. But we paid over $400 a night and got totally bitten all over by sand gnats. It's not Mosquitos it's some kind of smaller insects. Also the beach smells like the sewer or sulfur. Not sure why. The other end of...

Thank you so much for your review. We are so sorry because of what you described, one thing totally different from any other part of the island is that we are located just besides the ecological reservation. There is many government rules we need to follow in order to preserve and not alterate the local ecosystem, even we use some...

Parts of the island of Holbox are truly beautiful and serene. The water is crystal clear and changes color from dark green to light blue depending on time of day and amount of sunlight. While it's beautiful and cool to swim in, it's got quite a few stingrays and lots of seaweed at times. Websites advertise pristine white beaches and...

Hello Lisa, we are really sorry to read about the mistakes and other things you wrote. We definitely will take care of them. Regarding the seaweed, since we are located just beside the ecological reservation, there is many government rules we need to follow and one of them is to keep and don't break some natural chains based on this...

if you like good food and great service, it is worth paying they day pass at this nice hotel. I would not spend $500 a night for Holbox but less than $30usd gives you about $25 in food and drink credit plus towels, chairs, amenities. Had a great time. secluded from noise and people.

For us the remote location was a plus - and not even remote; for us, the about two kilometres to town is walking distance (and what a beautiful walk following the sea shore) and certainly cycling distance (bicycles were available at the hotel for free) but at times we asked reception to call a taxi. The hotel was quiet, at...

This hotel is magical and I'd go back any time. This was our first visit to Isla Holbox and this hotel. We had an ocean view suite (east end, first floor, in front of the second pool) and stayed for five nights. This place felt like some serious Holbox and Mexican hospitality. Everyone that worked there was great and the...

Thank you so much for staying with us and sharing your experience with the TripAdvisor community. We are so happy to hear that you guys had very nice days with us.
