I want to give this hotel a great review because the food, staff, rooms and pool are very nice. But we paid over $400 a night and got totally bitten all over by sand gnats. It's not Mosquitos it's some kind of smaller insects. Also the beach smells like the sewer or sulfur. Not sure why. The other end of...

Parts of the island of Holbox are truly beautiful and serene. The water is crystal clear and changes color from dark green to light blue depending on time of day and amount of sunlight. While it's beautiful and cool to swim in, it's got quite a few stingrays and lots of seaweed at times. Websites advertise pristine white beaches and...

if you like good food and great service, it is worth paying they day pass at this nice hotel. I would not spend $500 a night for Holbox but less than $30usd gives you about $25 in food and drink credit plus towels, chairs, amenities. Had a great time. secluded from noise and people.

For us the remote location was a plus - and not even remote; for us, the about two kilometres to town is walking distance (and what a beautiful walk following the sea shore) and certainly cycling distance (bicycles were available at the hotel for free) but at times we asked reception to call a taxi. The hotel was quiet, at...

This hotel is magical and I'd go back any time. This was our first visit to Isla Holbox and this hotel. We had an ocean view suite (east end, first floor, in front of the second pool) and stayed for five nights. This place felt like some serious Holbox and Mexican hospitality. Everyone that worked there was great and the...

Thank you so much for staying with us and sharing your experience with the TripAdvisor community. We are so happy to hear that you guys had very nice days with us. Regarding the WiFi, it´s something over our control, in the island there is lots of problems with that, and specially in the area we are located at because we...

We booked 3 nights at Hotel Los Nubes del Holbox for November and can report that it is a wonderful place to stay and for both couples on romantic getaways but family holidays. The kitesurfing opportunities looked fantastic and this point on the island would appeal to active families. We missed the bus from Cancun to Chiquilla so ended up...

Holbox is a true paradise and Las Nubes is the place to stay. The rooms are cozy and comfortable, with AC, hamaca, and a nice shower. The service was excellent, people in this area are super nice! The restaurant is very good, I ordered the lobster risotto and highly recommend it. There are two pools, one with ocean view. I...

My husband and I stayed at Las Nubes Nov 19-26th. The transport from door to door was very well coordinated. Everyone communicated and the next person knew of our arrival and time. The ladies at the front desk when we arrived were very helpful and answered all our questions (and I had plenty of them). Thank you Elvia, Daniela, Alejandro...

Hello! Thank you so much for sharing your experience with us. It makes us so happy to hear how good it was. Unfortunately, the days you visit us we had an unusual amount of families with children, because we are almost all the year only with adults, and very quiet environment. So good you had the opportunity to try our...

Very nice spot right at the end of the island, cool rooms (spacious, mexican-glam design, view), the waiters and chef are very nice, Pancha and Chucho (racoons) are part of the magic. The food is deliciuos, try the Ceviche and Shrimp Risotto. Visit the centre, walk on the sea and watch the stars... lovely!

My wife and I went to Holbox for the first time earlier this year in April. The service was fantastic. No complaints. We had booked the master suite with the balcony that they offered, we also ordered a airport and ferry pickup/drop service. We got to Mexico and were stuck at the airport for a little bit because the immigration...
