Hotel located 1 block from main square. Very good location. Hotel is average, rooms are big, rooms could be cleaner. Front desk lady needs to be aware of things going on. She was not sure about suitcases left in storage...we were part of a big group of 40 persons. Security guy was very helpful and gave us great customer service.

I realize that this is a budget hotel but the rooms are very dated and even dirty. The carpet was stained and needed vacuuming. The one towel in the bathroom was very old, grey (instead of white) and didn't smell fresh. The rooms also lack sound proofing and it was very noisy. Location is good - close to center square.

The first place we tried didn't have availability for both nights we needed ... and we were lucky they didn't. The lobby of Las Balcones is unimpressive, the hotel feels more like a business hotel than anything else and breakfast is not included, but we really liked this hotel! The room was a decent size, with decent bed, bathroom good... More

A great deal at only PEN 60 per night. A very large room (3 beds), large shower with good pressure and hot water, cable TV and a good WiFi connection. Furnishings are a little outdated, but the room was perfectly clean, and sheets and towels were changed every day. No breakfast, but Café Coqui is very close by, and is... More

This business hotel offers decent, comfortable rooms with slightly outdated furnishings, very close to Huancayo's main square. There's not much choice in the city as tourism doesn't seem to have taken off here yet but Los Balcones does what is says on the tin and provides decent lodging for two or three nights, which is all the time you'll need... Decent place to stay at reasonable price. We had a room on the 5th floor facing the street and a large common balcony. We had a nice view of the mountains and the city, but it was very very noisy, plus on the 6th floor(roof) they do the laundry, so you can hear at 6am people walking and pulling metal... More

This was one of my favorite hotels in Peru. The staff was very efficient and helpful. The public areas were very elegant. The four computers for guests use worked very well, as did the Wi-Fi in the room. Rooms and baths were spacious, and nicely furnished. The central location near the plaza was very convenient. They was an elevator, so... More

We loved staying here. Clean attractive rooms, prompt service, elegant lobby. There are two restaurants in the hotel; one accessed from the street the other on the 5th floor. Breakfast is not included. Feels like an upscale/business clientele hotel. Very pleased. Would most definitely stay here again. Great location.

I needed a room last minute in Huancayo and decided to check out Hotel Los Balcones. Luckily, on a Friday night, I was able to get a room. It cost 50 soles, which I think is a great deal. Only downside is that they had recently cleaned the carpets in my room and they were still drying. Worse things have... More

I arrived in Huancayo with no idea of where to stay. The taxi driver suggested this hotel. It cost 50 soles for a room with a double bed, an en-suite bathroom, with constant water, cable TV, and wi-fi access. The room was fully carpeted and big with plenty of storage space and a desk and chairs. The window looked out... More
