We have been to lots of hotels and chalets from cheap to expensive, but this takes the cake for the absolute best. I have never been to a place where so much consideration for the guests has been given. Unfortunately the guest these days is not much of a priority, not here. Don and Lea are the most graciously attentive...

Two things make Donalea stand out: 1. exceptional attention to detail. The bathrooms gleam, the crockery at breakfast it laid out perfectly, the jams are all presented in neat dishes, there are just the right signs provided, afternoon tea is provided on arrival, hot chocolate is available as well as coffee and tea, the view from the breakfast table is...

My fiancée and I were warmly greeted by Leanne and Don when we arrived, and Leanne gave us a tour of the immaculately clean and tidy house. Coffee and biscuits were available, and cake and biscuits were delivered to our room. Our room had a adjoining bathroom with a spa. Everything was super shiny and spotless. We took a stroll...

Thanks Aaron for finding the time to give us such a glowing review. It was lovely meeting you both and so glad you enjoyed walking the gardens. They really are looking splendid, due to all the Spring rains. Hopefully we will see you down this way again one day.

Donalea is everything a B&B should be. Welcoming hosts that are helpful and not intrusive. The room was spacious and well decked out with all you would need. The breakfast was great. Most importantly, its situated in a beautiful area

Stayed in a delightful 2 bed unit. Was so nice, sorry we only had 1 night there! The owners, Don and Lea, were very welcoming, and provided fruit cake, chocs, apples, and breakfast food. It's in a lovely garden, with outside table and chairs, not far to drive for dinner, and to visit the Huon Valley. I'd highly recommend it,...

Donalea is one of the best B&Bs we have ever stayed in. We were there for two nights and could have happily stayed for two weeks. Don and Leanne have restored the house and the gardens so beautifully, you feel relaxed and peaceful as soon as you walk in. Our room, The Waterview Room, was large and sumptuously comfortable with...

Only booked two hours before arrival but Leanne was all organised. Great set up and Don has a lovely garden. Home made jams and bread for breakfast after a relaxing spa and a great nights sleep. Some helpful advise for our dinner and our forward plans.
