We stayed here on the 26th and 27th July as the base camp for a charity cycle. Angus the owner could not have been more helpful, a great example of the people whom you will meet on a visit to these islands. Location was perfect with plenty of space for our team of 14.

We had just 1 night on Barra and chose this site. Lovely and quiet, the road is a dead end so the position overlooking the bay is perfect. Clean amenities at house. affiliated with site. Very cheap to stay. So if you need a quiet and clean site, choose this one.

My family of four spent a week at this lovely campsite. As the title suggests, the view was to die for and to be honest I'm not sure any other camping trip is ever going to match up to it. The facilities are not 5-star, but they are more than adequate (with a microwave, kettle etc provided). We pitched up...

Lovely sloping field, sheltered by the hill behind, and with a view across the sea towards Eriskay and other islands. Parts of the field are left uncut for the corncrakes to nest, the rest is lovely green cut grass for camping. The facilities are very spacious, located in a former bungalow at the to corner of the field, and include...

On family camping holiday in Western Isles. Stayed here for 4 nights. The site is great. Simple and straightforward with amazing views. The facilities are basic and spotless. The owners, Angus John and Joan are really helpful and leave you to get on with things with the minimum of fussed or interference. The location is at the north most point...

Small site with beautiful views and just 50m from the beach, owner is as laid back as they come and there is plenty of room. Facilities are nice and clean and included in the low price. We harked back to this site as we stayed at Horgabost, which was like Sauchiehall Street in comparison. Highly recommended.

This little site has the most amazing views across the bay to south Uist that change every few minutes with the tide and the clouds. It is well laid out allowing machair areas for corncrake and skylark to nest with mown areas for motor homes and campers. Very good value for money especially for families . Facilities include really hot...

We found this lovely site because the one we were planning to stay at was fully booked. We are really glad we did. The site is small and quiet and when we were there in May was a field of primroses. We booked for one night but decided to stay for two as it was so nice. Great view across...

Stayed for 3 nights with our campervan. Angus, the genial owner has created a lovely facility looking out over a sandy Bay. The converted croft bungalow is always warm and includes a number of bathrooms each with toilet, basin and shower, making getting freshened up a welcome pleasure. Will certainly revisit.

This really is how camping should be. We stayed at campsites for two weeks in the Hebrides and this was by far the best. The house has been converted to contain showers and toilets plus a kitchen which is basic. All the parts are kept immaculately clean by Angus and his team. I couldn't rate this highly enough....
