We had a lovely stay. Staff very friendly and knowledgeable. Cheetah conservation in action and the daily feeds are very impressive to be that close to these awesome cats. Great to enjoy the quiet nights, eland, zebra, kudu etc and inquisitive ostriches.

Thank you for the fantastic weekend! We don't know when we have relaxed quite so fully as we did at the African Game Lodge. The weather was perfect, exactly what we needed to recharge our batteries. The chalets were very well equipped, staff were super friendly and helpful as usual. With small children the crisp white linen is such a...

We absolutely loved the lodge - so remote, quiet and peaceful. The unit was great - all we needed. Loved the view from our unit. Could sit there for hours. We will definitely return for a longer stay.

Thank you for the review! It was a pleasure having you. We are full regarding our carrying capicity of animals. Due to the drought the animals roam deep in the valleys where there are still some grass for them. Sometimes not accessable by car or visible from the roads. After the rains you should visit and see the numbers. We...

Wonderful time. We enjoyed all the freedom we had to self drive and game view. The lodge staff and game rangers were knowledgeable and helpful. We will definitely be back. The pool has the most beautiful view ever.

Wonderful, quiet place in the little karoo with lovely houses, delicious food and very friendly people. You can walk with the ostriches, feed the cheetahs, swim in the pool or go on a safari with some guys from the lodge and their 4x4.

I stayed here for a weekend and it was awesome. So quiet and beautiful. There are multiple hikes, I did a long one by myself. Because of that, the manager gave me a walkietalkie in case of an emergency. But it was very easy to hike and I enjoyed the wonderful views. I had a really nice time and I...

We had an amazing two nights at the African Game lodge. We had a very warm welcome from Monwa and we were very comfortable in the cottage that we stayed in. Our children really enjoyed the wildlife and the freedom to run around. We especially enjoyed visiting the rescued cheetahs and watching them being fed. It is a happy, relaxed...

Wow, what a place but not for the faint hearted. The dirt road is quite tricky and was a 45 minute drive from the lovely town of Montagu. The cottages are very african and delightful with stoops overlooking some of the 4.2 hectares that belong to the Game Lodge. Take it from me, that a gin and tonic on the...

Very relaxed and friendly staff. Cottage suited us well. Loved the cry of the jackal at night and eland walking around the camp during the morning. Tour guide on the game drive was excellent and had a very good knowledge of nature. A good place to enjoy nature. Loved the breakfast that was served on Saturday & Sunday morning.
