The garden rooms are very spacious and very nicely located. Facilities are very complete. Very friendly welcome and excellent hospitality. Good recommendations on "what to do" (restaurants, hikes, wine tours etc.).

The entire property is well maintained, invites you to linger and reflects the warm, friendly style of hosts Mike and May. We had a very nice, large room in the garden area. It leaves nothing to be desired with regard to cleanliness and equipment. With attention to detail, the hosts have retained the historic core of the premises and connected... More

Lovely big room and bed with immaculate linen and vaulted ceiling and view of lovely mature gardens. May and Mike made us feel very welcome, with a relaxed and fun attitude and were very informative with a map of the area and recommendations on where to go and what to see. They recommended and booked us into a great restaurant.... More

Very friendly welcome by the lady of the house.Located in the centre of town. No dinner possible but good recommendation Old Tavern within 100 m. Very nice garden, room spacious but rather basic and the bed was rather of a poor quality. Swimming pool was rather a pond and not clean which was no problem because of the bad weather.... More

Our room was great - comfortable beds, all the inclusions you could ask for and a great bathroom / shower. Plenty of great breakfast options. We stayed 2 nights and that was a good... More

Warm Welcome, unusual, spacious room in a lush garden, good breakfast, Restaurants in Montagu in Walking distance. Best choice. WLAN was also flawless. Noise from the street occasionally, but very subdued.

I was concerned when we drove up that the rooms would be small and ancient- it's an historic old house. It turns out the rooms are behind the house set in a beautiful garden. The rooms were spacious clean and comfortable. We loved it. Private parking. Nice owner. Highly recommended!

We stayed one night in a patio room but wish that we could have stayed longer. The room was large and cosy and had everything that we needed. The bed was fantastic and bright and colourful. The gardens and bird life just added to the experience. The host was lovely and helpful and had some good recommendations. Certainly Ye Olde... More
