The owner has a giftshop in the parterre and the rooms are upstairs. Nice view on the mountains of el valle. Rooms are not so big but you find everything you need. And in front of the rooms there is place for all guests with hammocks, chairs and a common fridge. They have a good laundry service. The hotel is... More

The hotel room was pretty basic but comfortable. We had trouble with the hot water for showers but we were able to work it out. The patio area outside of the third floor rooms was a great place to relax, read, handstitching.... Don Pepe was really helpful and accommodating. The street level store had lots of eye candy for handcrafted... More

The hotel is in the middle of town above shops and restaurants. The rooms are nice sized and the beds very comfortable. There is no air conditioning, but no need in El Valle. Great common area with hammocks. Only problem is street noise. Trucks seem to pass all night.

We got one of the rooms on the far end, and it was perfect. We had a clean room with a double bed and a nice hot shower. The common areas are cozy with seating clusters, hammocks, a microwave and refrigerator. I used a big empty meeting room for my morning yoga -- and you ought to hear the rain... More

Located in the center of everything, this place is a good choice if you're looking for convenience. Staff is friendly and helpful, area is being cleaned regularly and rooms have hot water. There are hammocks around the building and even a small library of books.

Hotel Don Pepe is very centrally located in the town center of Valle de Antón. Staff is very accommodating and the price is good for what you get. Showers have hot water, rooms have fans and housekeeping keeps things tidy and stocked. The common area is a great place to relax and meet new people. The hotel offers a communal... More

We reserved our room via telephone. The location is pretty good just 2 minutes walk to the market and the sightseeings also could be done without a vehicle. The room itself was simple (bed, tv, chair) and the bathroom small. But its okay because outside of the room is a big area with hammocks and chairs. Unfortunately it was very... More

We stayed at Don pepe for 2 nights and it was a wonderful stay. The staff are really welcoming and they speak fluently english. The price is really reasonable and there is a beautiful terasse on the third floor with a fridge! There is also a good local restaurant downstairs. The place is really charming and I strongly recommend it.

We paid $50 for two people in a large room with one double bed and one single bed. Found the room to be very clean, nice sheets and towels. They made the rooms daily. The lighting was a little dim. They had a great area to relax on the top floor with hammocks, table and chairs and Wi-Fi. Depending on... More

The facade makes one think twice, but once past the courtyard everything changes for the better, The rooms are simple, but the common areas (top floor) are worth it if you are with a group (hammocks, couches, fridge etc). This place is perfect spot for a group, extended family, or something thrown together last minute. The location can't be beat,... More
