El Valle is a rustic rural town set in an amazing natural setting. Its definitely worth a visit as either passing through to explore the rest of the country or an overnight stay / drive trip from Panama ( only about 2 hours away). I have visited El Valle twice now and love it. You have four choices for accommodation... More

This a decent hotel, very well located, with a nice rooftop if you have time to spare in the hotel. However a bit expensive for the standard of the room. The hotel has Wifi but no in-room wifi for us at the time.

This hotel is central to all the attractions of El Valle. Upon check in, the very friendly front desk boy will give you a map and tell you about a few of the main attractions. The rooms are rustic, with modern amenities like a flat screen tv, and a ceiling fan that doesn't make noise or look like it's going... More

I really liked this hotel. Our room was clean, bright and comfortable. The beds were nice and the bathroom a good size. Great windows that we could open for a nice breeze. The best feature is the deck, which is big and has lots of nice plants and flowers and a gorgeous view of the surrounding mountains. We spent a... More

Central and clean with tiny rooms and a large, comfortable balcony with great views. Excellent hotel for $40-60/night. We were charged $80, cash. El Valle is a tiny, gritty town with beautiful views, but not much activity except for walking/hiking. Horses have sores on their backs.

I loved this hotel. The room was very pleasant and clean, with a lovely view of the surrounding hills. We were lucky and got a room attached to the huge terrace, so while our toddler was napping, we could just leave the door open and enjoy an afternoon cerveza and conversation outside and still keep an eye on her. The... More

This hotel is literally in the center of Valle, you can walk to a half dozen restaurants in either direction, there are mini-supers and juice bars across the street so it's pretty easy to self-cater yourself a drink to enjoy in one of the hammocks on the top floor overlooking the town. The double/twin room was perfect for us with... More

After the hustle and bustle of panama city we stayed at this lovely hotel in el valle. After a somewhat disappointing hostel experience in Panama city we felt very cozy in our room with all wooden floors at the residencia el valle. Played on the terrace in the rain with my two year old daughter during monsoon style rain. The... More

My wife and I just stayed five nights in this very good hotel. Enrique is a great host and very helpful. All the service was good with very clean rooms and wonderful hot water in the shower. We enjoyed the hammocks on the top floor veranda. The view of the surrounding mountains and also the town is wonderful. Located on... More

This small hotel is located above a craft center, in the middle of town. It has a small number of rooms that are quite comfortable. The room has a double bed, a flat-screen television - hooked up to a wide range of cable channels and a small table with two chairs. On the third floor is a very large communal... More
