They did a good job at remodeling the rooms. We stayed upstairs in the last room, the furthest from the hot water heater. Need I say more? Other than the lack of hot water, the room was very nice and we opened the windows at night and had a wonderful breeze. There are better restaurants in town than the one...

By far the best location in El Valle. The land around the hotel provides the most scenic view of all the hotels by far. Not to mention the square trees trail. I did a meditation walk once or twice a day while I was there. Rooms are nicely remodeled and AC is offered now although not often necessary. Love the...

As a lover of nature and more specific of poison dart frogs, El Valle is the place to be to find the 'Golden Frog' or Atelopus zeteki. It is not really a poison dart frog, but it is a species you have to have seen if you go to Panama.The 'Rana de Oro' is one of the National symbols of...

I brought a group of 14 entomologist's to the hotel in early August for two nights. I've stayed here with groups every year for the last 3 or 4 years. The rooms and bathrooms have just been remodeled, and look great. Nice huge shower heads and nicely tiled bathrooms. No air conditioning, but ceiling fans are all that is needed...

I read in a Panama guidebook that this was a classic "Spanish hunting lodge". The signs called it a B&B. It was neither. The main part of the facility had been torn down at some point and there is no indication it will rebuilt. The room rate seemed to be at the whim of the front desk and I was...

Thank you for you constructive critic. In response to this critic we can inform you that the wind factor is NORMAL, this is due to the postion of the hotel on the base of the three mountains.
