Friendly and very accommodating owners. Recent improvements to the chalet have made it a really comfortable place to say. Paul and Helen's local knowledge (both on and the slopes and off) really add an extra element of enjoyment.

From the moment we arrived, Paul and Helen couldn't do enough for us in making us feel comfortable in their lovely chalet. They explained all we needed to know about the local area to make the best of our holiday. Every morning, Paul would load all our skis onto his minibus and take us all to whichever local lift station...

Many thanks for the review and very kind words. It was so lovely to meet you, David and the rest of the group last season. Its meeting people like you that makes what we do so enjoyable and so really hope to see you all back in Chatel in the future. Best wishes Paul & Helen

This was my second stay with Paul and Helen at Chalet des Arbres and on both occasions, the entire experience was faultless from start to finish. The chalet itself was immaculate, everything that one would need during an alpine break and just a 5 min walk into town. The service was absolutely faultless for the whole stay. Hosts Sean and...

Chatel village is an amazing location for skiing entusiasts with a real village feel. We had an amazing time and were looked after very well by Mountain Air Holidays. The accomodation was comfortable and homely and the hosts were welcoming and ensured we enjoyed every minute of our skiing trip.

Hi Paul, many thanks for taking the time to post the review, it was great to see you all. Really pleased that you all enjoyed the holiday and the feedback is always very useful particularly so we can review any areas where we have fallen a little short of excellent. Thanks again and hope to see you all again in...

We stayed here back in Feb and greeted by Paul and Helen who were very welcoming and really took care of us. They had pre-organised ski passes and equipment hire in advance so it was really easy for us! Paul took us to the shop to collect our equipment and within 5 mins we were sorted. We were also driven...

We were so well looked after by Paul, Helen and the Chalet Hosts during our skiing holiday this year. The chalet is large, with very cozy communal areas. Rooms are also decent sizes. Helen's baking was cracking. Food was good (particularly the absolutely stonkingly fantastic cheeseboard which made its way out each evening - delicious!). The wines were more than...

Stayed with Mountain Air Holidays last year and went back again this year for 7 days B&B. Paul and Helen are great, friendly hosts. Really helpful with suggestions of other things to do, places to visit etc. when I was not biking. Would happily stay here again.

One week a year for the all important skiing holiday means its important to get it right! And Chalet des Arbres does exactly that. Paul & Helen, the owners and hosts could not be any more accommodating and really make the guests feel that nothing is a problem. Location has been given four stars rather than five just because I...

Very good location just on the edge of Chatel village centre, and on the road to the slopes, with views, a 5-10 minute walk from the village, albeit a brisk up hill one on the way there - excellent food - excellent help and support from the owners, all in a cosy, warm and traditional chalet.

You'll read a lot of guff about chalets being offering a warm welcome, and owners inviting you into their family and community. In our experience it's usually a superficial, blank eyed commercial transaction, with just enough warmth to appear welcoming, but a lack of anything remotely genuine. Not so with Chalet des Arbres - Helen and Paul, Mike & Lucy offered...
