Peaceful hotel, right next to the beach, with own sunbeds and umbrellas. The owners were friendly and very helpful in all manners: they helped in organizing our trips to Knossos/Heraklion, Elafonisi, etc. Upon arrival we received all the information what we needed, but we got recommendations as well, when we asked for. I would come back next time, too, and would highly recommend to others as well.

Location was ideal as it was close to shops, bus stop and a stones throw away from the beach. The place was clean and neat when we arrived. It had spacious rooms and a good size terrace with chairs and a table. Also had a small book of recommendations to help tourists around the island. The kitchen had a small fridge and freezer, pans, kettle, cutlery, plates and an electric stove so definitely can cook food instead of going out. Each room had an air conditioner even provided us with a hairdryer. The rooms were cleaned when we went out and the lady we met always had a big smile while saying good morning. It was a quiet place and had sun beds and umbrellas at the beachfront. Walking distance to a lot of great restaurants and souvenir shops. Also a good bakery where we frequent for breakfast is just right up the road. Thank you for the hospitality 🙏🏼…

We’ve been traveling Greece for 1.5 months and Crete alone for 3 weeks. My husband and I are avid travelers and my husband is Greek! Before officially making the reservation on Bookings.com we decided to stop in to see the rooms as we read a review about a basement room smelly musky... so we wanted to see if first. All rooms still available before walking in. When we arrived around 5pm, the old man at the desk told us he had no rooms available. I immediately questioned his availability on-line, and clarified that he, in fact, had rooms and 4 different room types too! He asked me how much it was...??? You think he would have known his own prices!!?? Then he admitted to having a room, and tried to charge us 10 Euros more than what was advertised. I asked him, “so if I book the room on-line right now, would you deny me the room?” He replied, “yes”... anyways not sure if he was a racist or just being lazy but this is NOT how people should be treated... we were lied to and he wasted our precious travel time.. to swindle us for a measly 10 euros ($15 Canadian for us)!! After being kind from the beginning, I walked closer and said something nasty... he deserved it. Our entire time in Greece has been fantastic, except for him. I would recommend that you DO NOT support this man or ERMIS STUDIOS. He’s not an honest person... and it takes a lot for us to say that. Have fun in Plakias and try Avrofiliton for dinner/ great portions and quality!…

Those people here are totally liars. They came into the reception asking for a room for one night. We said the price and they wanted to pay 10€ less, as we did’t accept it they became very rude to us. If they wanted to pay less they could have made the reservation on booking.com but they did´t. And they did´t because they wanted to pay less that internet. And one more thing in our property there are no rooms at the basement so what they wanted to check exactly? But I really want to know how TripAdvisor let people lie about a property when they haven’t stay there. And one more thing when people behave so badly like this couple here why do I have to host them In my own property?

Ermis Suites is perfectly situated close to the beach, food stores, the center, restaurants etc. It is quiet and well furnished. Comfortable beds and pillows. Shampoo, shower gel and hairdryer available. Wifi.The kitchen has got what you need to cook - or to make yourselves a nice breakfast. The staff is very nice and indeed very helpful if there is something you want/ need. The hotel is clean and the outside area is very nice with flowers and creations.

Ermis is beatiful, quiet and clean place for pairs and families situated in Platania, where you can expect peaceful slowly ambience and also mixed services like supermarkets, restaurants and souvenirs. Great location nearby the sea, sunbeds in lovely garden and helpful staff guarantee relaxing atmoshere. Widely flats with comfortable beds, kitchen and terrace are cleaned everyday. Staff is understated, nice and in smiles :) Ermis is perfect and comfy base camp located in west Crete.

A peaceful family hotel by the sea with good and clean apartments. I can recommend to couples. Everything in Platanias is near and location is beside Agia Marina also. About 10 km from the beatiful town of Chania and you can easily take a bus to go there.

The hotel is small, but lovely. The Staff are service-minded and allways in a good mood. The flats are well cleaned, and equipped with with you need. The hotel is situated by the beach, with sun-beds available.

Nice hotel, with a good location if you are looking to fall asleep to the sounds of the ocean, and who doesn't. The room was very clean and confortable. The room has two levels, downstairs you'll find a small kitchen area with a kitchenette, a mini refrigerator, a small sofa and a table with a couple of chairs. Perfect for having breakfast and feel like you're at home, although nothing beats having breakfast by the beach if you're that close to it. The bathroom is also downstair. Then, you have the bedroom upstair, nice size, a large closet, and a balcony. Everything was clean and comfortable, and the manager was kind enough to extend our stay for one more night than we had initially booked.

Very nice family Hotel in quiet surroundings direct on the beach on the border between Platanias and Agia Marina. No luxury but you have what you need in the apartment. No pool and no bar, so really a quiet place to stay, but you can use the facilities at the hotel Menia only 50 meters away for free if you want. Very cosy family hotel, good service. We have been here for many years and really love the place and the people. Can really recommend a stay here.

The hotel is located on the beach!!! The rooms are very clean and comfortable. Our room was facing the sea and that was super. It's a family owned business and that makes it very special as they are all very friendly and very willing to help with really good advices! Ask them where to go and what to do.. Platanias center is about 1 km far. Near the hotel you can find supermarket, bakery, restaurants.
