Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

the hotel is well positioned in the centre of Adamas - only a few minutes from the port and restaurants and shops. The rooms are not too big and from the street side a bit noisy, so better take a room from the back. Unfortunately when I was in May 2022 the swimming pool was not opened yet.

Dear Piotr M, Thank you so much for your trust at Meltemi Hotel and the time you devoted to upload your review on TripAdvisor. All our rooms are traditional decorated and offer all the necessary facilities our guests need during vacation. The location indeed is very nice as all shops, restaurants and picturesque alleys are available to be discovered. My friends and I visited Meltemi August 10th for 4 nights. The hotel owner is a wonderful lady and all the staff are really friendly. Rooms were basic but comfortable with small balcony. Bathroom not huge but manageable. Its a small family run hotel and we really enjoyed meeting everyone. Word of advice, after a certain time at night the front door is locked and you have to enter by side door to right of building. This wasn't explained when we checked it so there was a little excitement one evening but we eventually figured it out!

The location is great and the staff are very friendly and helpful however, the bathrooms are incredibly small and the beds aren’t comfy. It is good for a budget stay for a couple of nights but no more than that.

Hotel Meltemi has been a great base for our Milos holiday. A family run hotel, it is centrally located for exploring the island (by car or there is a bus stop close by), we had a lovely welcome from our hosts who were happy to help with recommendations for activities and restaurants. Excellent value. The breakfast was great, rooms were clean and having the pool was the cherry on top!

The family couldn't have been more charming and welcoming; the room was simple, clean, with a small but perfect balcony overlooking the harbour and the town.
Breakfast was simple but good and the position of the hotel could not be better - in the middle of the very nice little port of Adamas, easy to walk to a beach, easy to walk to the restaurants. I absolutely loved it.
If, however, your taste is for all mod cons (powerful shiny showers; spa style creams, etc) and a spot of luxury, this hotel is probably not for you. However, the air con in our room was much better than the air con in a much more pricey hotel.

Having read previous reviews before my stay here I wasn’t expecting much as a lot aren’t very positive, but I was pleasantly surprised. We arrived much earlier than we were planning to & the family who run the place had our room all ready and were very accommodating. We stayed 5 nights and despite lack of photos the hotel DOES have a pool as pictured. Breakfasts are decent, room size is good. Only negative I experienced was the wifi wasn’t connecting 95% of the time but maybe the router just needed to be restarted. Would recommend !

The property needs a renovation. For the traveler that only needs a night's sleep, it will do the job but for this, it is expensive. Other than that, no insulation at the walls, hence noise. Cheap materials, no style and no friendly staff.

Very well-located hotel-even though it is close to the center, it is quiet. The AC and wifi work very well and the breakfast was ample. Beds are hard but they are in most hotels I've been to in Greece.

Lovely comfy hotel, very friendly welcome & we had a sea/quay view. Milos is a island hopping destination, so was a bit busier than we thought. That said, it is a beautiful island & very worth a visit. Hotel Meltemi is very well located for the bus stop or ferry terminal. 😊🇬🇷 ****+

We stayed at this Hotel in Sep and it is very reasonably priced, excellent location and a lovely lady owner. Small balcony looking over the town and sea. Great breakfast café opposite although we were offered breakfast at the Meltemi. Loved Milos and since the lady has given us her telephone no. we shall hopefully return next year
