We spent 5 days at Ikastikies. Georgios was the Perfect Host. His hospitality and kindness are unparalleled, attending to each and all of our questions and needs. He provided an overboarding breakfast. The place has the best caldera view, it is quiet yet still close to everything. Just an impressive and unforgettable stay. Thank you, again!

I can not say enough good things about it! George, the owner - was the best! Instantly made us feel right at home. The rooms were in pristine condition. We spent a good bit of our time out on the patio, just watching the ocean and sky. The view from our place was amazing. We were lucky enough to get to see two beautiful sunsets, right from our suites. No need to travel to Oia when you can see a famous Santorini sunset from the patio in front of your room. We even were treated to breakfast in our room, and they coordinated with our schedule for the day to ensure we could eat before we left. George was friendly, caring, gracious, treated us like family - I can not say enough about our experience, except thank you George for making our time in Santorini amazing!

Albert was the BEST! He was the friendliest, most caring guy, and also full of great information. He treated our daughter like his own. The hotel itself is 5-star in terms of view, services, and food. The pool was a bit cold but it was already September. I would definitely stay there again.

My family and I (spouse and 2 6 year old girls) stayed in the 2 bedroom suite with a private pool in October and loved it. The views were exceptional and the rooms are very well appointed. The terrace and pool area are also very relaxing and it was so nice to wake up to breakfast every morning on your terrace. The service was outstanding and we have stayed as some of the best resorts in the world. While it is a small hotel, it felt like we were at a Four Seasons resort in terms of the service. For breakfast one day my daughter wanted pancakes (and the breakfast spread was exceptional in terms of qualify and selection) they immediately made them for her and brought them every morning. The location is also excellent as it is a short walk to the major town without the hustle and bustle of the big town. I would highly recommend this place and will be back for sure.

The Staff, The location, The food, The cleanliness, The View, was absolutely excellent. Giorgos the owner is fantastic to deal with - We emailed alot before we came about different questions we had and he always came back to us quickly and efficiently. Our transfers to and from the hotel were organised and excellent. Great Driver lovely Mercedes V Class top of the range, with Air Con - Very Comfortable. We spent 5 nights here on honeymoon and they made sure from the moment we arrived we felt special - though George and the team as we noticed do that for all their guests. All the staff here are so nice and helpful. Special mention to Albert who set out our fabulous breakfast each more on the terrace. This was amazing, always so fresh and more than we could want. The food in Santorini overall is an absolutely amazing and the breakfast here will certainly set you up for the day. For Lunch and Dinner there are some lovely restaurants just a stones throw from this hotel. The guys will point you in the right direction - they will help make reservations for you.. all you need is ask. I felt the location was perfect. A bit quieter than Fira but only a 10-15min walk if you wanted to be in the hustle and bustle. Fira town is Incredibly busy especially when the cruise boats are in so its nice to be a little bit away from it. Centrally located for travelling. Not far from Imerovigli or Oia (you could walk .. not for the faint hearted though) or simply hire a car, moped, ATV or get a taxi. The bus services on the island i have heard are also good though we never used them ourselves. The views from our room were just WOW - Lets just say the photos dont do it justice. We stayed in the 'Ostria Suite' . The perfect Caldera view, Sit out on the terrace in the evening and watch the sun go down before heading out to dinner. Relaxing during the day by the pool. We Cannot recommend this hotel enough. We will definitely go back. In fact i didn't want to leave !!!
