Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

Absolutely wonderful stay for 7 nights. Giorgos made us feel so welcome and we felt very well looked after by him and the whole team. We had mentioned that we were celebrating our 20th wedding anniversary year when we booked and we were very kindly given an upgrade to Suite Rozaki. It was stunning and felt like having our own apartment, the decor is beautiful, especially considering it is a 300 year old cave house. The breakfasts on the terrace were so relaxed and very generous - most days they kept us going all day until dinner. Giorgos also gave us some very good restaurant recommendations, we had some lovely meals out. Santorini is a beautiful place & Ikastikies Suites is in a great location inbetween Fira and Imerovigli, both with easy walking distance. There are lots of steps of course, but don’t holiday on the caldera if you can’t manage steps, there is no getting away from them! I can definitely recommend Ikastikies Suites if you are looking for a quiet, relaxed stay in a stunning location with friendly personal service.

We had the most amazing time staying at Ikastikies Suites. Mr. Giorgos and his entire team made our stay fantastic. We were warmly welcomed, appreciated their professionalism and kindness, and enjoyed their attention to detail with a commitment to ensure that we would have an exceptional experience. Similarly, the suites are quite unique, comfortable, very clean, and so relaxing. Finally, the views staying at Ikastikies Suites on the Caldera are just breathtaking. A dream come true. We would highly recommend staying at Ikastikies Suites and we hope to get back again very soon.

We visited in Santorini on a family vacation and thoroughly enjoyed the boutique hotel, the service was amazing woman reviews for stunning, and the location was perfect because it's convenient to restaurants, shopping, tourist attractions. George, the owner gave the best personal service, and make the best homemade wine anywhere. Five stars, and would recommend this boutique hotel to anyone visiting in Santorini.

Simply the most amazing boutique hotel we’ve ever been to, fantastic location, beautiful surroundings and people whose only concern is making your visit spectacular. The place is simple, elegant and has everything you need and more. The outside, private balcony with a pool and spectacular view, facing the sunset. Not exactly in town but a very short distance walk, along the coastal path. George is a wonderful host, anticipating your needs and always ready to help!

My finance and I stayed here for three days but wish we had stayed longer. We had some of the best customer service we have ever experienced when staying at a hotel. Upon arrival (after being picked up at the airport by a shuttle the hotel coordinated for us) we were met by the owner Georgios. Despite checking in early, we were promptly shown to our gorgeous room. We had absolutely picturesque unobstructed views of the caldera and a private balcony. Our favorite part of our entire visits were the breakfasts. Each morning, we were served a complimentary FEAST! Every day it was a little different and was a private dining experience. One small touch that really stuck with us: Georgios was not present when we checked out so he spoke to us by phone to personally say goodbye! We have already started recommending this hotel to our friends and when we return to Santorini, this is where we will be staying!

This is such an amazing hotel in Santorini! It’s a very small hotel (4-5 rooms) but the views are fabulous and the staff even more so. From the assistance with the luggage to the lovely breakfast served directly to your room, this hotel has it all. In the middle of Firostefani, you are able to get to many excellent restaurants nearby. Easy walking distance to Fira and all of its shopping. However, you can be just as comfortable staying on your patio looking at the gorgeous water and sunsets. Such friendly people! Highly recommend!

We spent 4 nights here on our arrival for a three week trip to Greece. The property is well located, within walking distance to everything. We were in the Ostria suite, right on the edge of the caldera. The view was extraordinary. We did not feel compelled to go anywhere else to capture the incomparable sunset. The breakfast is probably the best we had in Greece. The staff are helpful and attentive. George, the owner, is charming and very generous with carafes of wonderful Santorini wine. A word of caution- there are a lot of stairs. It was fine for us, but this would be difficult for those with mobility challenges. For us, this was a piece of heaven and the perfect beginning to our vacation. Highly recommended!

I doubt you will find a more perfect suite in Santorini. We spent our honeymoon in Greece with Santorini as the highlight, and our stay at Ikastikies Suites was flawless. These cave house-style suites are spacious, well-appointed, and very comfortable. Ours had a large private pool (perfect after a day of hiking or walking around Fira), kitchen, two bedrooms, two bathrooms, and breakfast served every morning. The suites are in an ideal location, tucked into the quieter area of Firostefani, steps away from two of the best restaurants on the island, but only a short walk to the action in Fira. Every sunset in Santorini is an event. Nobody can adequately explain it, and pictures fall short; it’s just something you have to experience. These suites are so ideally situated that there is no need to travel to Oia or search for that perfect spot in the evening. As you relax on your outdoor patio, the sun sets right in front of you! It is nothing short of spectacular. The accommodations are superb, but what really sets this place apart from the hundreds of choices in Santorini is the staff. The owner, Giorgos, is an enthusiastic supporter of the island, its history, and Greek traditions, even making and sharing wine from local grapes (delicious, by the way!), and is one of the nicest people you will ever meet. He welcomed us with open arms and made sure our stay was perfect in every way. The manager, Nikoleta, was equally accommodating and always available to help us in any way possible. She was the ideal host, adding to our experience each time we spoke with her. The right staff can make or break a vacation, but when people you don’t know can make you feel like part of their family in only a few days, you know you’ve found something special. We have already started planning a return trip to Greece and will stay with our new friends at Ikastikies Suites.
