This was such a find! Beautiful views, gorgeously decorated rooms. Well serviced by friendly and helpful staff where nothing was too much trouble! As a solo traveller they went out of their way to make me feel at home. I could not have wished for a better stay in Santorini thank you!

We cannot fault this hotel. The room had everything you would expect from a hotel in Santorini - especially magnificent views. We had a very warm, friendly and professional check-in. It was a perfect start to our stay and we wish all hotels were as welcoming on check-in. They offered an in-house taxi service to/from Oia - which we utilised. It was very well priced. Breakfast was delivered to our balcony. Whilst not plentiful, it was sufficient. We were checking out of the hotel very early in the morning, and as reception is not 24hours, staff were not available to assist with transporting our luggage from our room to the car park. This is worth noting if you are physically challenged in any way. It takes considerable effort to carry luggage up and down the stairs.

Santorini has lots of hills and steps, I think Ferastefani, where Blue Dophin is located has most steps if you go to Fira which is down hill. The hotel itself is very clean and well kept. They bring you breakfast which included eggs, meat, yogurt, fruit, pastries, cheese and jams. The bed was comfortable and the AC wasn't working but we opened our windows and it was comfortable sleeping. The staff were great, when we arrived we were given a glass of wine while we checked in and had a bottle of wine as a gift in fridge. Eddie was the luggage guy and as the driver which hotel provide to go to Oia, 20-30 minute drive or 3-4 hr walk. They also had suggestions where to eat.

This is a great place to stay. Fantastic staff. Nikki and Eddie were the best. Breakfast was really good especially the pancakes. A lot of stairs to go up and down but that is typical of the places in Santorini hotels especially if you want a location close to the edge of the water Easy to find places to eat and Fira and Imrovigli are within walking distance

Our early-season visit to Santorini was fantastic, thanks to Blue Dolphins and its helpful staff. The location was perfect for sunset views of the caldera. The room was spacious and clean with great towels and linens. We loved having a hearty breakfast delivered to our room, so we could enjoy it on our balcony before setting out for the day.

Just like most hotels in Santorini cliff locations, you have to lug your luggage down many steps. Luckily, there is help from the hotel staff who help carry your luggage. That aside, the stay was decent for one night I was there. The location is not prime for Sunset view. But, you can walk for 10 minutes on either side to catch the sunset. This was the main reason I chose this hotel. The staff is friendly and helpful with information. Check in was pretty smooth. There are terraces you can sit and watch the blue domed and white homes of Fera. In the morning watching the cruise ships docks in the harbor and ferries picking up passengers was a peaceful sight. There are some free parking spaces at the top of the steps. Walking to downtown Fera is a bit of a hike. You have to walk downhill for 15 mins to get there. One the way you pass many restaurants and shops. The airport is a 10 minute drive away. I rented a car and it was very convenient for me. It was also a 20 minute drive to Oia for the more famous views.

Such a great time at the Blue Dolphin. Christina was a wonderful host and did everything possible to ensure our stay was all we’d dreamed it would be. The staff is great! Our terrace overlooking the Caldera was perfect for sunsets. No need to go elsewhere! Our afternoon at the sister hotel pool was also fabulous, made even more special when we were joined by fellow New Yorkers there to celebrate a Wedding. The location is perfectly set for sightseeing and dining and one should not miss the opportunity to eat at To Briki. The baklava is to die for. The only negative was the breakfast as it is brought to your room instead of you going to it. Although they are very accommodating, the food was not as hot as I certainly would have liked it to be.

Where do I begin to tell you about Blue Dolphins in Santorini. My husband and I absolutely loved our week long stay there in their honeymoon suite. Our private patio with the hot tub, chaise lounges and table and chairs to eat at along with the most stunning sunset every evening was beyond compare. The room was very comfortable and clean. A bottle of wine and snacks were there for us on arrival. The bathroom was very large with a double sink and large walk in shower. The queen size bed was very comfortable. We looked forward to the large breakfast brought to us every morning at a time of our choosing. We ate it at our patio table overlooking the water and cruise ships. So picturesque. The breakfast was incredible and completely filling. Great restaurants are within walking distance of the hotel. Definitely take the advice of the staff when they recommend restaurants and excursions. We did and had the best food and tours. The catamaran tour is a must and can be booked through the hotel. We also did a tour of the southern end of the island and learned so much about this beautiful place. The staff at this hotel are amazing! I had read that in other reviews and it is absolutely true! Christina welcomed us on our arrival and and we interacted with her mostly during the week. I can’t say enough about how wonderful, customer oriented, kind and caring she is. She is a true asset to the Blue Dolphin staff. Honestly, everyone there was completely helpful. The location of the hotel was perfect. We walked into Fira- about a 8-10 minute walk with many shops and restaurants. We were happy to be staying little distant from that bustling town with all the cruise ship passengers filling the streets. It was very crowded there. The other direction was Imerovigli, a quieter town with quite a few restaurant options and beautiful views. We rented a car for a couple of days and went to Oia and to the black sand beach in Perissa. These were also great experiences and we were able to rent the car right at the hotel. There is not a pool at Blue Dolphins but they will take you to the pool at their sister hotel. Our week was full so we didn’t get a chance to take advantage of that. Even after a week long stay on the island we weren’t ready to leave! We loved our vacation there and loved this hotel!

We stayed at the Blue Dolphin hotel in Santorini during our Greece trip this September. We could not have been happier with the hotel. The location is excellent the view is absolutely stunning. We had two rooms located side by side and we shared a common area balcony, which was overlooking both the city and the ocean. The rooms were well appointed and quite spacious. The bathroom was well equipped and roomy as well. The location was within walking distance from Firostefani and within easy access of some excellent restaurants and shops. Breakfast was served each morning on our shared balcony and was most enjoyable. Each of the four days we were presented with different breakfast items. The service by the front desk staff was excellent and they were very helpful in arranging our transportation and various activities. Upon arrival we were offered a complimentary glass of wine and subsequent to that additional complementary wine while we were enjoying the view from our balconies. I would highly recommend this hotel to anybody staying in the Santorini area and wishing to have a stunning location with superior service.

This is genuinely one of the most beautiful places we’ve stayed. The view is absolutely incredible!!!! We stayed in the honeymoon suite with a private veranda and hot tub. It will always stay with us, such a special holiday. ( not on honeymoon/we’ve been together for 23 years 😘 Ideally situated at the top of Firostefani just a (nice) 10 minute walk to down Fira. Shops, restaurants and bars en route. Definitely visit Oia Definitely do the sunset catamaran cruise The service we received from the staff was ABSOLUTELY INCREDIBLE, we have travelled all over the world and this is at the top of the list on service for us!! THANK YOU ❤️❤️
