Belair Hotel captivates guests with its traditional Greek charm and is celebrated for its exceptional cleanliness and attentive service, with daily maintenance receiving particular acclaim. The prime location, a stone's throw from the beach, dining, and shops, alongside amenities like fridges and kettles in well-kept rooms, adds to its allure. We booked last minute as a group of four friends, it was under £200pp so for what we paid it was totally worth it. However, after speaking to other guests we heard they paid a lot more than us, so if you’re looking for a more sophisticated stay, this would not be your best bet. However, the owners were absolutely lovey and did everything the could to ensure our stay was lovely! They even gave us lifts and picked us up from the centre of Fira at night so we could go out there to some of the clubs! (Which id highly recommend, as Perissa doesn’t really have night life as such).
The sofa beds were not very comfortable, as it is typical Greek accommodation, although we had no problems with the double bed. We did have a problem with our shower not working for the first couple of days but it did get fixed later in the week. The cleaning was done every day for us, with new towels and bed sheets provided.
We had a lovely time in Perissa as we were walking distance from the beach and all the restaurants. The apartments are definitely more family oriented, instead of a relaxing couple get away.
Overall, had a really nice stay!

The Greek people who run this are lovely.
We stayed in room 301. It had lovely double opening doors with a stable style door on one side.
Room 301 is a very traditional Greek room. The bed base is made of stone as are the bedside tables and the wardrobe frame. There is a dressing table, mirror, sink with plates etc…. a plug in cooking ring and a kettle. The bathroom is in true Greek stay with everything set in stone.
We stayed here for a week and loved it.
We were given a new mattress half way through our stay which was very comfortable, and the bedding and towels were changed twice during the week. The room was cleaned everyday and everywhere outside in the garden area was spotless. The pool is across the lane and that too was very clean.
It is literally a 5 minute walk to the beach and the beach front bars one way and 5 mins the other way to the little high street full of shops, scooter hire places, eatery’s and bars.
We ate in most of them and all were good.
We had a gyros and a pint each at the takeaway on the end where you can sit outside the total bill was 13 euros. We couldn’t believe how cheap the prices were on the little high street compared to the beach. On the high street Dorians bar has free snacks with every drink you buy and the pints of Mykos there are 3 euros a jug. All the bars on the high street are full of lovely friendly staff.
On the beach front we frequented the Aqua beach restaurant. The staff are lovely and the little waitress is an absolute gem. If you buy a drink there you can use their sun loungers all day long. The food there is amazing and we ate there everyday. The steaks come on a high wooden platter and cost 13 euros, will all the trimmings. The Greek pizza is amazing there too and is only 12 euros for a large one. I would highly recommend spending your lazy sunny beach days at the Aqua bar. We didn’t move all day. You can scan the menu from the sun loungers and be waited on hand and foot all day.
We did the boat ride taxi to the otherside and the staff on there are also fabulous.
Perissa is a great place to go with the best beach on the island. The beach is black sand and there are slippy rocks into the sea so take care but it is a laugh getting in ad everyone is chuckling together to get in for a dip.

We had an absolutely amazing time …

Location — fantastic, right out of hotel, 3 mins to the beach and restaurants , left out of hotel, 3 mins to shop, bars, bus stop and bakery.
Rooms — we had room 1 on the Athanasia side which is room only , lounge…we had fridge , hair dryer , kettle , plates , mugs and glasses , there’s a TV and a single bed built into the wall which we used as a settee. A small shower room and toilet , towels are provided, we had a spiral staircase that led to a bedroom with a double bed , it has a dome ceiling so just be careful when you get out of bed !! The room is cleaned every day by a lovely lady , thank you l.
Entertainment — none but we didn’t expect any.
Pool area , lovely clean pool area , only 9 sunloungers though so sometimes you just have to sit around the pool, not the end of the world !
Food/drink — there’s no pool bar which is a first for me but we loved it , it meant we could nip to the bakery and the shop for some pizza , pop and beers , and eat our own around the pool , made the holiday so much cheaper !
The family are lovely , The Dad (sorry didn’t catch his name) is so funny , we had many conversations, no idea what we were saying to each other but we laughed , fist bumps all round !
If I come back to Santorini , I would definitely stay here again , thank you for the best holiday 💖

We stayed at Beloir (Athanasia) hotel in Perissa last week for 7 days. We were greeted by Emmanuel on our arrival, he is very nice and cheerful. Then, we met Angela for the rest of the week, she is very approachable and lovely too, she always greeted us with a smile on her face. We went to see her a day before we leave, as our transport to the airport is not until 17:00. We asked if we can leave the luggage for a bit in their storage area, but instead she gave us another room to leave our luggage. The room she gave us has got a bed, shower room, fridge and air con. So, we decided to head back to the beach for few hours. Angela made an extra half day for our holiday, very pleased with that.

Our room is quite basic but had the Greek feel to it. It is opposite the pool and has a porch/sitting area just outside the room. Ideal for eating meals at night with a dim light coming from the pool. It has got free wi fi as well.

The location is very ideal, it is less than 5 minutes walk to the beach, beach bars and restaurants and about 2 minutes away to the supermarket, bars, takeaway places and to the bus stop.

The local people are very nice and I feel safe walking at night by the beach. They closed off the road at certain time at night for cars and other vehicles. It is like night market, with all the restaurants, and shops open until
Late.

The food are excellent and delicious, they are fresh and you’ll see them cooking it as you order it.

There are loads of things to do in 1 week, by visiting other towns, relaxing to the beach and by just walking around Perissa and Perivolos beach

This is one of the best holidays we’ve had and we’ll definitely go back and stay at Belair (Athanasia) again, as we love the place and the hospitality of the hosts and staff.

We got a good deal from Tui and weren't sure what to expect as this hotel was quite a bit cheaper than lots of the other hotels in the area. We got there to find that we were given a lovely self-catering room with a great balcony.

The hotel itself is in a great area as it is so close to the beach and bars/restaurants. There's also a couple of little supermarkets within walking distance so not far to bring back drinking water (the water on Santorini isn't drinkable). The bus stop to go to Fira is just at the top of the street.

The room was big, with a bathroom, bedroom and kitchen diner so it didnt' feel like we were on top of eachother. I would say that as self-catering it probably wasn't great as there were no pans, only a couple of cups/glasses and there wasn't washing up liquid/tea towel provided as you do sometimes get. Our fridge stopped working on the first day but this was fixed quickly. The shower was just a shower head that you had to hold - the water pressure/temperature was very variable depending on when you used the shower. Other than that, the room had a hairdryer and a little dressing table space and the aircon was good. Aircon and safe were free, too.

The room was really clean when we arrived and the cleaners came in every day to empty the bins, mop the floor and even did our washing up from breakfast a couple of days (not expected!)

The pool area was nice but very small so there are only about 10 beds in total. 4 of which are in the sun for most of the day so if you like a holiday sitting by the pool then it probably isn't the best place. The beach is very close though so you can always go there. We did notice though that many of the hotels in the area have very small pools/pool areas so this is the norm for Perissa.

Angela who runs the hotel is really helpful, and always very nice whenever we spoke to her. We were allowed to leave our luggage in one of the rooms and there was a bathroom/shower so we were able to sit by the pool for the day before we left.

Overall, we had a great time and were really pleased with the hotel! If you want a cheap hotel as a base for exploring Santorini then it is perfect.

We booked this and got a real bargain! WOW-what a fab little find, apartments are spotlessly clean and include air con and safe key in the price. We booked room only and our room was a apartment with a kettle and fridge, clean sheets and towels done daily and we never wanted for anything during our weeks holiday
Apartments attracted a friendly diverse group of guests.
3-5 min walk max brings you to Perissa beach, lots of places to get something to eat.
Thank you to the lovely Angela and her team for making everything easy and perfect-we had such a relaxing break and cannot wait to return.

Just got home from a lovely week in Persia with my partner. However there was a few things I wanted to give other people the heads up about. The location of this hotel is brilliant, it is within a 10 minute walk of the beach and the strip with a wide range of bars and restaurants. It is absolutely beautiful and stunning photos are guaranteed.

The hotel itself is nice enough, the pool is good for a dip to cool down and each room has a sink and aircon that works very well however many of the rooms do not have much natural light and the majority of the ‘balcony’s’ are shared or a small space outside the door to the room with a chair and small table that is also sheltered so not a private place to sunbathe. For the deal we traveled with we were happy with the accommodation as we were happy to sunbathe on the beach instead and spent minimal time in the room.

Just a couple notes about the local area; there isn’t any access to non salty water and as someone who has dry skin, I found myself needing to moisturise more often so bring moisturiser if you are similar. I personally thought the local area was slightly more expensive than expected (€23 for Suncream at one place) however it is significantly cheaper then Thira or Oia, but be prepared to pay similar prices to the UK to eat out every night.

Overall it was a very good experience and I’m very happy we went however I wish we were more prepared.

Dear Mrs. Elisha, Thank you for staying with us. Hope you have had a lovely time, and you enjoyed our island and our hospitality. Vp Belair offers relaxation and security. It works in a family atmosphere. We are 2* stars property, and we try to provide the best possible services and be always available for our customers for anything they need. In the web description of our hotel it says that each room has a terrace or balcony, and you can verify this from the photos of the common areas too. The room that you had provides an own small terrace. Each destination we visit has its own peculiarities, unfortunately in Santorini one of them is the water that is not potable. We thank you from the bottom of our hearts for your staying at Vp Belair. We hope to see you again some day in the future. Best wishes

Booked with TUI, last minute and very very cheap on a Room only basis. Lovely welcome from Angela who couldn’t do enough for you. Brought us cakes and coffee one morning which was very welcome. Great location for Room Only - numerous bakeries within walking distance for breakfast and surrounded by some lovely restaurants- you have to try the Chinese down the road! Self catering adequate for coffee/ tea only with large fridge for beer and milk and stuff. Kept clean with fresh towels daily.

Don’t stay here if you want pampered luxury but for us - it was a very relaxing and enjoyable stay. Took time to chill out & read enjoying a late afternoon wine/snack next door or just a beer in the courtyard on our table.

Can catch a bus to capital about 100m up the road.

We had a lovely week at VP Belair ! Angela the owner works very hard to make sure we all have a lovely holiday ! The hotel provides free air conditioning and safe. The rooms and pool area are cleaned everyday. It is very close to the beach, bars and restaurants. The bus stop is a 2 minute walk away with buses to take you to Fira for €2.50 and Oia €2. Dorian’s Bar is a very popular bar also 2mins away selling small beer €1.50 large beer €3 glass of wine €2 and cocktails €7. Most bars did 0.5 litres of local wine for €5 and you can but 1.5 litres in the supermarket for €3.50. Thank You Angela for a lovely holiday ! And special Thank You to Gnandi xx

Honestly can't complain one bit!!

The owner/host Angela was fantastic and went above and beyond to make us feel welcome.

When we checked in there was no kettle and upon request she made it available. The cleaning staff ensured that there were pleanty of fresh towel and the room is clean at all times.
Franko the owners dog was so cute and adorable made our stay very memorable.

Location wise it's spot on. Close to all the restaurant on the high street and also the restaurants on the beach.

I can't honestly complain one bit.

Only constructive feedback would be the shower need abit updating.
