The Hotel Zorzis, totally refurbished recently, is situated in the centre of Perissa on the main road, just 300 meters from one of the island’s popular black beaches. The hotel is furnished in the island color and offers comfortable rooms with balconies. All rooms have bathroom with shower, hairdryer, individually controlled air conditioning, ceiling fan, fridge, satellite LCD TV, direct dial telephone, cable and wireless internet access (computer not provided) and safety deposit box. The hotel has a breakfast room / lounge with patio doors leading to a terrace overlooking a flower filled garden. Reception desk with fax and mail services. The hotels beautiful swimming pool with an attached jacuzzi / whirlpool is set in idyllic surroundings with an impressive mountain backdrop. Just the place to relax. The hotel is close to a variety of shops, cafes, restaurants, and just 20 meters from the bus stop. There is also private car parking for our hotel guests. We are sorry but the hotel does not take children under the age of 14 years old. Pets are not allowed. The owner, cruise ships Captain Spiros, is on hand to answer any questions you may have and is remembered by many guests for his attentive and warm hospitality. Hotel Zorzis is not associated with any other hotel with either the same or a similar name.

The Zorzis must be one of the best small hotels in Europe! Spiros and Hiroko looked after us like family once again. Their hotel is wonderfully welcoming and is spotless. Everything works as it should, the pool is perfect and the view of the hills is fabulous. As other reviewers have said, ‘stop looking, just book’. Perissa has plenty of bars and restaurants even in late season and the black sandy beach is clean and safe. We will do all we can to return once again.

I booked a 2 night stay here as a solo guest while waiting for my wife to arrive. Id mulled over many many different places before booking. I'm so glad i stayed here though. I arrived fairly late in the evening. There's a tiny parking area in front of the hotel should you arrive by car, which i did. If there's no space then you can drop off and park about 200mtrs down the street outside the bakery on an unmade parking area and walk back. Its no real aggravation. Spiros was waiting for me and checked me in, helped me with my case and talked me through the rules. Currently and during my stay its RO accommodation. but upon request you can get a kettle and cups for your room. There's also a fridge and Spiros kindly arranged the kettle for the following morning with water and some teabags. What I really liked was the fact that the TVs in the rooms are preset with volume so you cant turn it right up load, fantastic, no noise from other rooms. The room i stayed in backed onto the pool and oi had a superb mountain view. I think it was room 8 or 9. While small it was very very clean. Comfortable bed and lovely yet small bathroom with a great shower. Small toiletries were included too. AC in the room only works when you are in it which is fair enough. The balcony was tiny too so not too good if you are 2x 6 footers lol. However the view more than made up for it. Very quiet too thanks to the quadruple glazed windows. Considering the hotel is on the main road you literally hear nothing from the street. So quiet and relaxing. And to open the curtains and sit on the balcony with tea and a pastry for breakfast was just superb. Spiros's wife is on hand to give lots of local info and there's a really good folder of info in the reception area. The room was serviced daily too, there's a safe inside the wardrobe and I found there was adequate storage for luggage. Spiros is so friendly and lovely to talk to, i felt really at home there. The gardens and pool area are lovely with beautiful flowers and a pomegranate tree. The swimming pool was super clean, a small jacuzzi and paddle pool for children are either side of the main pool. There's plenty of seating enough for all the rooms. Very very peaceful. My only regret is that I didn't stay longer. My wife and I had arranged another hotel for our trip but I returned with her to see Spiros and we agreed we would return and stay with him again. I really enjoyed Perissa and the Zorzis Hotel. Its small friendly and totally spotless. The owners are absolutely lovely, nothing is too much trouble and you are treated as one of the family. I cant wait to return some time soon. Don't hesitate. Please book and stay with Spiros. You will not be disappointed. If you want peace and quiet, a small friendly hotel conveniently located then look no further. Its about a 5 min walk to the beach area or a 2 min drive. Thankyou Spiros for a lovely stay.

Genuine, friendly and attentive hosts, very clean rooms and a great pool. This hotel is conveniently located in the little town of Perissa - close to the beach front and the restaurants, a 24-hour bakery and a bus stop to Thira. Would stay here again!

Another fantastic stay at the Zorzis Hotel in Perissa. Thanks again to the perfect hosts Spiros and Hiroko, also a big thanks to Marie for keeping everything so clean. We love this hotel for its location, mountain views and a beautiful swimming pool. Bars, restaurants and the beach are close by. Local transport is inexpensive with a bus stop very near. Already booked for next year and cannot wait to return.
