Very simple, low key vacation. Disappointed from the difference in reality and pictures ( wrong expectations) Nothing organized as activity, only the poolside and without a car is difficult to go around. I had a car, drove miles , but not thing too exiting . The weather was perfect , 25-28c in early October, nearby villages to visit and explore.

I have been here twice, at 2012 and 8/2023. Very nice hotel, clean, good food. Excellent view of Petra and Molivos. It's located on a hill by the sea between Petra and Anaxos. The pool which is 30m from the sea is filled with sea water. Great for family vacations.

I came on a holiday at Clara Resort Hotel, and I was astonished with the spectacular view, the friendliness, the politeness of the people working there. The service was immediate and effective. The room was very clean the linen was superb. The breakfast had a big variety with local recipies and served under the fantastic view. The pool also has a great setting and is with salted water Its a MUST to try the Cocktails.

We really enjoyed our two weeks stay at Clara Hotel! Clara Hotel has the nicest staff who really takes care of every visitor, from the moment we arrived and til we were ti take the bus back. A special thanks to the hotel owner, who explained all abut the sightseeing stuff, beaches and much more. Also the staff in the restaurant were really nice! 🫶🏼 The hotel has a wonderful view of the sea from every room and we woke up to wonderful sunrises and watched the most beautiful sunsets from the restaurant The rooms were clean and neat, pretty minimalistic, but with everything you would need. The hotel has a nice pool with salt water, which we also liked very much. The food was good, we only had breakfast included, but chose to eat dinner there a couple of times too. We got to try real Greek food, which was tasty ☺️ The beach beside the hotel is pretty small, but we enjoyed walking 15-25 minutes to Anexus and Petra beach. It was along the main road, so maybe not for walking with small kids, at least not every day, because it gets hot as well For a three star hotel, this hotel was really really good! We loved it!…

Great staff - they were really helpful and nice, they were always there, whatever we needed. We will never forget them! The food was also delicious - I wish there had been more vegetarian options but even though there weren’t many sometimes, there was still always something to choose from. The view was unforgettable and as far as I know every room has it. Everything was clean and comfy, we really enjoyed our stay. There was also a cat Marco that was super cute :)

We are 2 weeks and IT Was excelent time. Staff were very helpful and always with smille , this is not big resort , IT is I think place for normal People looking for small place but very nice in realistic Greece. Near we have beatiful village Petra and Anaxos , 2 kilomiters , were we can using decks and sunambrellas for free , take only for example Coffee or drink . Places is alot . The See Waterman is nice warm.

We have spent 2 quiet and restful weeks. View from the room and balconies is beautiful, good commodities, spacious and cleaned rooms. 3 minutes walking from the sea which is just below the hotel. Nice owner and staff, real chief cooker who deliver fresh and tasty food. They are kind, friendly, and really helpful. We will miss for sure your kindness and the so pleasant and lovely "Kalimera! My family and I had the opportunity to have a wonderful stay at the Clara Hotel this summer. From the moment we arrived, the hotel owners and management, were very helpful in accommodating us, as a group and personally, to make our stay at the hotel and on the island of Lesvos as pleasant as possible. Nestled on a hillside, in Avlaki, minutes from the town of Petra and Anaxos, the hotel offers a peaceful respite. The rooms are bright, nicely appointed and have balconies with stunning views of the Aegean and Petra. The hotel grounds are within minutes of a private beach, and several local beaches, but most impressive is the amazing saltwater pool with a taverna, offering refreshments and food, The restaurant located on a terrace overlooking the sea, offers amazing views while dining on delicious traditional and international fare. I highly recommend the Clara Hotel to any one visiting the island of Lesvos.…

Rather a hit and miss hotel pluses are excellent accommodation well furnished rooms with balconies bath and shower cooking facilities etc. depending on type of booking. Meticulously cleaned rooms and reasonable choice at buffet breakfast. Stunning complex with sea views and pretty gardens. On the downside the hotel is a little isolated and the pool are whilst gorgeous is only accessible from the hotel down a steep and long pathway. The owners are very friendly and helpful and make everyone welcome.
