There are not enough stars to give to this hotel. Rooms clean spacious. Hot water good balcony view even our which looked over a road and hills still lovely. So much choice of good food . If you couldn’t find anything to eat , there’s something wrong with you. Considering Covid restrictions were in place . We had everything and more. One thing was that around the pools was a little tired” that’s all . The staff were warm and friendly kind considerate So much energy too . Nothing was too much trouble . They had a brilliant “Beatles” band on the first night we were there . They were so good . Music was great after that too . Entertainment for children was so good . I was nervous about going under the circumstances. But there was no need to worry at all . When it’s safe for us to travel abroad again. I’d book here without question. Thank you for making this a brilliant family holiday to remember. And Well Done too To All Staff THANK YOU 💐🌈🎉

We travelled here as a party of 10, booked last year but travelling with four in our party over 80, I was worried about the whole experience due to Covid but couldn't have been more pleased. Ahead of arrival, I e-mailed to request a low floor room for one couple and received a quick, friendly response confirming ground floor rooms for all the party so we were together which was lovely. On arrival which was late evening, our temperatures were checked before we were allowed in (this was done every time someone entered the hotel) and the Reception staff were very friendly and helpful, making check- in painless. Also, when we requested additional hangers, towel change and help with our safes, the response was very quick and efficient. Staff were only allowed to enter your room with permission, via Reception, which I thought was excellent. Our room was 1034 which was a lovely, renovated room but sadly, although it had a large patio, it was almost completely enclosed and the people in the room to the left of us, sat in front of our only bit of light smoking which wasn't great but it was the only negative. However, the patio was well equipped with two chairs, a table and clothes airer. On the whole we found the hotel very Covid safe. The pool sunbeds were very well spaced, as were the beach ones and all areas were very well maintained. The tables and chairs at both the pool and beach bars were also well spaced. The restaurant was a little less well managed as although all staff wore masks and food was served to you, some guests didn't wear masks or keep their 2 metres whilst queuing but we mainly managed to go at less busy times which helped. I know it's hard but a menu service may have worked better but you could not fault the staff in the restaurant, they were friendly and helpful. There were numerous outside dining areas including one overlooking the beach/sea which also made dining feel safer. The food was lovely with plenty of variety and the beach bar at lunchtime was superb. Location wise, you are right on the gorgeous beach and you could walk into Faliraki in about 20 minutes. It took around 15 minutes in a taxi to get into Rhodes Town which was only €19 in and €16 back and a must visit place, very historical and pretty. There is also a bus stop directly outside the hotel. The hotel staff were amazing, always smiling and so helpful. A special mention goes to Dimitri, based mainly at the beach bar, for exemplary service but all the staff were brilliant and the cleaners worked non-stop. The animation team also worked tirelessly offering various activities during the day and great entertainment, at the beach bar, in the evenings. This lovely hotel provided a little bit of normality in these trying times and deserve high praise. I would definitely recommend the hotel for it's great location, excellent service and friendly staff.

Went all inclusive to this resort at the end of the season. The room was nice, very modern and quite minimalist, but totally adequate, lovely balcony and great view of the beach! The food is good and there is plenty of it. During Covid this all had to be served by the staff, who were extremely courteous and efficient, would imagine though that during the height of the season that the queue would have been long. There is a pool bar which serves cocktails, ice cream and crepes which is great! The beach bar is good for lunch and there is a good variety every day for lunch served by a chef with a great sense of humour. The outdoor pools are nice although they are cold and not heated but once you're in they do warm up. the lounge bar is a great chill out area in an evening and also has a good selection of drink. As it was end of season during the second week of our stay some of the services did start to wind down as they started packing away for the winter(perfectly understandable). The animation team don't stop and work to provide entertainment day and night and provide a great program for children and adults alike. The resort does cater for the German population though as we were told that it is 90% Germans that go there, some were good, some bad - let's just leave it at that - just to say that once they had gone things were a little quieter.

The room was ok but it could use some revamp in more than one aspects but the view was great (we had sea side view room). At night it was quiet, you could hear only the waves and. in the morning, the sunrise was the most wonderful thing to start the day with. The green areas near the pools and the hotel were very well maintained, with a lot of flowers and trees providing a breath of refreshing air when the beach gets too hot. The beach was well oganized and maintained although some of the sunbeds need to be replaced. Of course, some aspects can be improved but, for us, the most important things were the sea, the sun and entertainment and all of these were excellent so, we were very pleased.

We picked this hotel after looking at the reviews and so had high hopes, unfortunately we were disappointed. We selected Blue Sea Beach Resort as we have always stayed in Illaysos or Ixia previously but wanted to try staying on the other side of the island this time, with it's sandy beaches. Pro's The variety of cocktails on the menu was great. Although, they varied greatly as to what they tasted like, some were really nice and some were like drinking alcohol neat. The reception team were always happy to help and very professional. They had great knowledge of the local area as well which was really helpful. The hotel is around a 25 minute walk from central faliraki so it was slightly quieter than if we had been more central The bus stops right outside and goes every 30 minutes from rhodes town to the hotel. It is €2.40 each way. The sandy private beach was beautiful and very clean. Lots of sun beds available. The pools were also lovely. Very modern and clean. The aircon was really powerful in the room. The crepe station by the pools was really unique. We paid extra for a side sea view and were glad we did as the view was lovely. Looking one way we could see the sea and the other way had a view of the mountains. The gentleman at the beach snack bar in the mornings was always so happy and he would season the food for you as he played it up which was excellent. Cons When we arrived our room stank of cigarettes, which was not very pleasant for non-smokers The room itself could have done with a revamp. The floors were scratched up, bath was stained, floor was stained, bathroom door didn't close properly, no lock on the bathroom door, our balcony door took a lot of convincing to lock (luckily we were in the 2nd floor so this was less of a problem but it wasn't very safe), there were only 2 plug sockets in the room which were the opposite side of the room to the bed ect. There was a safe in the room, which was free to use, however the one in our room did not work. The corridors could also have done with a revamp. The carpets were threadbare in places and stained in others. Every morning there would be dirty glasses left in the corridors by guests. On our check out day, the cleaners were asking to clean our room before we had checked out. Check out was at 12 (noon) and our pick up time was not until 11:30. At 9am the cleaners came to see if we were ready to leave the room. Other reviews seem very positive about the food. Unfortunately, we found the options very limited. As vegetarians we expect this when we go away. Our options for dinner each night were pizza, pasta with tomato sauce or salad. The food was very bland or overly salted (varied between one or the other each night). Breakfast we found to be cold often, even on the days where we arrived as the restaurant opened due to us going out for the day. Lunch was the best meal of the day. There was less of a selection for everyone but the options were greater for us as vegetarians (spinach and feta pie, leek pie, stuffed peppers), the food was always warm and tasty at lunch. Covid-19 The covid-19 precautions in place at the hotel were not made clear to us as we arrived. We were given a welcome pack on arrival, thinking they would be in here but they were not. Tempritures are taken as you enter the building each time you come through the front door. Cleaners will not clean your room unless you ask them to come in and clean the room. In the buffet you have to queue at each station to be served everything you want from this area (this causes long queues so I advise arriving earlier or later. It also means people are very close to each other as one party of guests may be being served food while others try to look what is on offer at that station to work out whether they are best to queue up or not). Face masks are worn by most staff members (although some bar team members were wearing them under their chins at times rather than on their faces). Almost all guests did not where facemasks anywhere in the hotel. I was disappointed with our overall visit as we have stayed in hotels where we have had a better experience for less money on Rhodes before.
