We booked a last minute few days away at Dias studios, but were hugely disappointed with our stay. Our bathroom was very basic, with the toilet barely flushing, the shower would flood each day and we came out the shower feeling more dirty than when we first went in!! The sheets were also dirty when we arrived! The pool however is lovely and relaxing and was never very busy while we there! The breakfast was very basic, only went down one day of the few we were there. I ordered toast, was stone cold even butter wouldn’t melt on it! Wouldn’t visit again and very disappointed with our experience when so many other reviewers seem to have had a different time!
This was the first stop on our two week tour of the island - staying at Lindos and Rhodes Old Town later in our stay. For our first few days we wanted somewhere that was good value for money, quiet, peaceful and with a pool to unwind and relax before we got down to some serious sightseeing later in our trip. Well Dias was perfect for us. It was a third of the price for a night of some our our subsequent accommodation, but it still gave us everything we needed. It’s walking distance to the lively centre but far enough away to be quiet. Beach is walking distance, but we had a hire car so just used that as it was very hot and would have been an uncomfortable walk. We had a cheaper room without a private pool and it was basic. But it had everything we needed such as aircon, wifi, fridge, balcony and breakfast included. The breakfast was a cut-down Covid version where the staff brought stuff out to you, whereas I think it’s normally a buffet. Considering the low price we paid for the room I actually felt a little guilty taking breakfast! It was small and basic but quite a few choices and the staff were amazing and happy to get us anything if they had it available. Car parking was available around back if you do happen to hire a car - which I recommend you do prior to your visit from one of the price comparison sites as they’re much cheaper that way. Most are the sort where you are shuttled from airport to their base and collect/ drop car from there. Final mention about the staff who were friendly and helpful at all times.…
It was decision in a last minute and it was best decision in our trip Greece adventure. In real the room and the pool is even better as on photos. It's very instagramable, if you know what i mean :) We loved staying there, unfortunately just for one last night in Rhodes. The room is brand new, very clean, very bright and has a nice decore, toilet, main room, teracce with a pool - just wow! And it's very close to main road in Faliraki and the beach! You can find a kitchen in a hotel room too, so that's a plus. Staff was also very nice and we got a parking just infront of the hotel room doors. We loved everything, we should stay more night. Maybe breakfast has not so many choices as i wish - this was because of Corona situation I guess.
Booked a 2 bed apartment fairly last minute and was very pleasantly surprised. Looked like a new building very clean 2 large bedrooms and 2 bathrooms with a small very basic kitchen area in the middle huge narrow balcony that went all the way around. Brilliant staff very family run and a driver who did slightly cheaper runs than local taxi 15 in to rhodes town. The location was a decent walk to the beach and nightlife but you got used to it possibly bit far out for small kids. Lovley pool area and ni problem getting 4 sunbeds as it was very quiet . Would reccomend for the 2 bathrooms alone!
My sister and me spent one week at Dias. It was more than we expected, the best hotel in its category ever visited. The whole hotel (the room, the dining area, the pool) was really nice and cleaned every day (also the changing of the towels). The staff was incredibly nice, flexible and helpful all the time! The breakfast wasn’t varied day by day, but there was a great and tasty choice. There was free and fast WiFi in the hotel - near the pool area as well. If we’ll back in Faliraki, we’ll come back for sure!
