This lovely Boutique Hotel in the Old Town is a classic example of what can be accomplished by adding innovation and investment to a medieval creation. The Crusaders built the property, the Ottomans added their own touches, and the 21st-century architects have worked with

I've stayed at the Spirit of the Knights hotel twice. It is a fabulous, small, authentic hotel inside the walls of the Old Town , perfectly positioned for a couple of days of sightseeing, wandering the lovey old cobblestone lanes and enjoying a beautiful evening meal out. It is

From the moment we booked the exceptional level of service started. Our break was over the Christmas holiday and we were advised which restaurants were open on Christmas Day and having chosen one for each of Christmas Eve and Christmas Day they were duly booked for us. A taxi

We spent our night in Old Town and enjoyed it. We also live in Turkey and had been to Kos in the last but weren’t impressed. This island was definitely a lot more enjoyable with lots more to do. Old town has a palace and old cobblestone streets to explore. There is a huge shopping area with lots of goodies and a wonderful area with lots of restaurants and music. The hotel referred us to Romeo’s for dinner which was great with live music. But more importantly it was in a beautiful area that was so romantic to walk around after dark. There are areas with beaches as well but we didn’t do those this tile around. (Not sure how far from old town) New town is a 10 minutes walk from old town. I would say yes- it’s worth checking out Rhodes and we’ll definitely be back. I highly recommend this hotel for sure. Wonderful people. Enjoy!!!

Our room had a King bed in it. Not sure if it could be split. But maybe, I would ask the staff directly. Our room also had a sofa that was twin bed sized, so could be slept on if people were not wanting to share a bed. We were in the Pasha suite.

You can always sunbathe in the private courtyard of the Hotel or go to one of the many beaches that are outside of the castle walls. It is easy to grab a cab and be to a beach in a couple of minutes. Great swimming and wind surfing beaches are very close, but not for walking to. There are break walls and piers just outside the walls. We took a cab to the beaches. They were efficient and reasonable.
