Helios Garden consists of three light, airy and modern self catering holiday apartments situated within the magical Old Town of Rhodes. Each lovingly restored apartment is a clever mixture of the contemporary alongside Hellenistic, Byzantine, Medieval and Ottoman styles that pay tribute to the UNESCO World Heritage Medieval city. Outside is the sanctuary of a lawned communal courtyard garden which offers a surprisingly peaceful setting. Amongst an assortment of fruit trees, flowers, vegetables and herbs this space incorporates two dining areas, a raised sunbathing deck, lounge area and barbecue facilities. Inside each of these self catering holiday apartments the owners have crafted every detail to an exceptionally high standard that offers a stylish holiday retreat. The apartments are available for rental either separately or (subject to availability) collectively. The apartments are very secure and private and located inside the walls of the Old Town. The surrounding amenities and attractions include a wide choice of restaurants, bars, shops, museums, and sights – many on your doorstep or within immediate walking distance. Key features include: Individual Kitchen and Bathroom in each apartment. Free Wi-Fi access for your devices. Self catering – with a welcome bottle of wine and fresh fruit on arrival. Daily linen and towel change is also included if required. Fine quality bed linens and towels throughout. Each room includes bathrobes, slippers and beach towels. The personal touch. Your helpful and dedicated hosts Jay and Meike go beyond providing high standards and a warm welcome – they can help arrange car-hire, licensed tour guides for city-walks, excursions and grocery deliveries.

Surely the most attentive hosts in the whole of Greece a country famed for hospitality. Meike and Jay were fabulous, from the meet and greet to departure and arranging reliable airport transport. Everything they did was above and beyond. Jay provides a very useful mini tour around the old town with restaurant recommendations. Meike makes a plethora of cakes and breads that are brought to you daily as a treat. The room itself was sympathetically decorated in keeping with the building and the old town itself and the apartment had everything you need for a few nights or a few weeks. The gardens are tranquil and offer respite from the hustle and bustle and the heat. The breakfast is amazing but you had better have an appetite as Meike is feeding an army. If you go to Rhodes town and don't need a pool then you must stay here. Jay, Meike many thanks for your fabulous hospitality.

We stayed at Helios Garden for three nights. The accommodations were wonderful and the hosts Jay and Meike could not have been more welcoming and helpful. I would highly recommend staying here. The location is perfect, down a quiet little lane, but just a few minutes walk from the heart of the old town.

A wonderful place to stay in Rhodes old town - exceptional hosts that provide an exceptional customer experience in a very low key unassuming manner. Homemade breakfasts are amazing - all the little touches is what give this place its high score and very much deserves it - It’s clear that the hosts really enjoy what they do - well worth a visit!

Our stay at Helios Garden made our trip! Jay and Meike provided excellent directions prior to arrival. They picked us up at the San Francisco Gate to Old Town and walked us in, giving us information along the way, it was like being transported to a different age! Jay carted in our luggage. They welcomed us with drinks and homemade cheesecake. It only gets better from here! Their property is a 17th century building brought up to 21st century comfort and convenience. It is absolutely beautiful with Meike’s decor and gardening, it works like clockwork with Jay’s engineering and maintenance. Jay gave us an orientation tour to start us off in Old Town Rhodes. They asked if we wished to book breakfast. Book it if you want a pure Martha Stewart, House and Garden magazine experience. Then on our enquiry, they recommended a taxi to take us to Lindos, but Takis is so much more than a driver! He shared us with the most beautiful views along the way, stopping for us to take pictures. Our trip to Lindos was perfect with this fine young man, with interesting stories. In other words, just ask Jay and Meike for all you need and didn’t know you needed on the island of Rhodes. They gave us the best restaurant and retail recommendations just as they walked with us or served us breakfast. They gave us gifts of drinks, snacks and a parting present, but most of all, true hospitality and goodwill. We feel we made three friends in Rhodes and leave with the warmest feelings. Efcharisto!

One of the best places we have stayed! The location, the facilities, the garden and the hosts make this an amazing place to stay. The apartment is so well designed, spotlessly maintained and equipped for a very very comfortable stay. The garden is so tranquil and beautiful as well as being unique for the Old Town. The optional breakfast is very special as it is home made and so large ! Most of all the hosts are very helpful and welcoming. Their extra touches of the gifts to eat is a fabulous feature. We would love to return.

Fantastic place to stay in Rhodes old town. The hosts, Jay and Meike, were lovely. They really care about their guests and go out of their way to be helpful. We were the first guests of the season, we were met at the bus station, given a guided tour of the old town and made to feel at home when we arrived. Every day we had surprise gifts left in our apartment. Meike is an excellent cook and we enjoyed the breakfast with homemade breads, cakes and yogurts. The apartment was clean and comfortable and looked out over the courtyard. A peaceful location in the old town within easy walking distance of main attractions. Would highly recommend staying here and will be back next time we visit Rhodes.

This is a small Oasis in the middle of the peaceful part of the Rhodes Old Town. Only a few apartments around a central beautiful garden. They serve fantastic breakfast, privately served at your request, nice spacious rooms, The owner's are a super friendly couple, who for example pick up your luggage from the nearby Old Town gate. Strong recommendation!

My hosts were waiting for me on arrival and was given a most clean and comfortable room. The attention to detail in the rooms, around garden and breakfast is outstanding!! This is the place to stay when in the old town, so happy with my visit. I felt safe and made to feel very welcome. They had a hairdryer which had full power!! Make sure you take the breakfast it is NOT to be missed, fresh produce and again attention on presentation and taste, so much better than you would get in town (I used to live here so I know) 100% recommend this place a real delight, so lovely sitting in the special garden. I hope to return
