Lovely hotel, beautiful room.great food, great service.Hotel staff are lovely. The pool is only small and not very big for sun bathing,so get up early to get your beds. This hotel is not far from the beach.but is on a hill.not for disabled, who struggle with walking.

Hotel's Favourite
Second time we have stayed in this beautiful family run hotel it’s like home from home. Was lovely to see old faces as well as new. Our room this time was on the fifth and was truly amazing sat on the balcony looking out to sea having a glass what more could we ask for. Reception check in fabulous was greeted by Michael and Marina very friendly and chatty we caught up with Antonis and Fedora at a later time and both remembered us which was lovely. We had a pizza and fries on arrival from the bar it was huge and very tasty this is where we met Alex for the first time a lovely cheeky young man who looked after us perfectly thank you Electra our lovely bar waitress from last year we caught up with later that evening. On entering the restaurant that evening Savvas the maitre d at the hotel greeted us like family big hugs so lovely to see him still there as he’s is the backbone of the restaurant please don’t ever leave, new staff this time we’re Eleni, Monolis and Michaela after our ten days they were like family too couldn’t do enough for you yet another good team who work well together. Also Angel helping out. Food is amazing and we were pleased that Chef Valantis still is with you and he made us twice the best ever Saganaki really delicious. Ivan also fantastic on breakfast. Mentions also to Valandi, Vasilik, John and Valentina. Our final mention goes to Angelliki our hearts go out to her and her family and you know why. Keep doing what you are doing as it’s still working and we really do hope to return very soon and love you your hotel your food and hospitality all over again. It’s the best location is perfect for walking in to Rhodes old town or 2 minutes to the beach. We left with empty hearts full bellies and a whole new lot of friends as well as our old ones who are close to our hearts always. Savvas and Angelilki Thank you from the bottom of our hearts for a beautiful stay.

Dear Mr & Mrs Taylor, Thank you for your sweet and lovely feedback! It has been a pleasure to welcoming in our hotel the past 2 years and we wish for many times more! We are glad to know that you enjoyed our personalised services and the warmth of our hospitality. Nothing would have been achieved without our happy staff. They are all sending you hi. Our tour operator dropped us here in July '23 when our original hotel became unavailable. The Semiramis hotel staff had no idea we were coming and (it being peak summer season..) no rooms for us to use. The welcome we recieved was extrodinary, with the hotel and staff doing everything they could for us and hundreds of other stranded holiday makers. A great location for walking to explore Rhodes or visiting the beach. Not only will we never forget the kindness we recieved here, we will be back to enjoy another stay in future.

Good location in Rhodes Town. The hotel is stylish and modern and a haven from the hustle and bustle of the town - particularly when cruise ships are in ! Rooms are a little small but that is generally true of all Town centre hotels . It was very comfortable.

Where to start. We arrived at 1am after issues with our jet2 transfer we had to drag suitcases up a very steep hill to find that the only 2 ways to enter reception with a suitcase is to either drag them up a flight of steps or walk up the side of the building to the ramp and navigate through the terrace of tables and chairs, once in and checked in we asked when our holiday rep would be at the hotel to be told they don’t attend the hotel anymore!? Odd we thought but we did have a phone number to call so left that as it was. We were given our room keys and general information then told our room was just down the hall.. the guy pointed down the hall and left us to it. There are 3 steps up to that hallway and even though he knew we had just dragged them up a hill he never once offered to help us. Once in the room we immediately noticed how small it was, then noticed it was a double bed when we booked a twin. So I attempted to turn the lights on thinking it maybe two beds pushed together but the lights didn’t work so we went off to reception to inform them it was the wrong room, he came up said he would report the lights but we would need to stay there the night. While doing a walk around I found a very large cockroach in the bathroom he said hold on I’ll get the spray and came back sprayed the bathroom leaving us not able to use it until the morning. Neither of us slept that night fully clothed and irked about the situation. That next morning I woke to find dead cockroaches in the bathroom which I had to step over to reach the toilet. We went to reception still in the same clothes, unwashed and not slept to see about our room change which we were told bring your stuff to reception and 1pm we will have a new room! At this point we called jet2 who told us that our rep was actually on his way to the hotel, surprised by that information after hotel staff told us they don’t arrive anymore we waited to speak with him over the situation, he kindly told us he’s there 5 days a week and they don’t know what they’re talking about, that was a great start. The rep spoke to hotel staff and arranged for them to move our bags and get the room sorted for 11:30am with complementary gifts in the room for the inconvenience caused. Great we went to the room to collect our hand luggage to a card under the door saying reception had a message. We had to move our own bags to reception again not one staff member offered to help us but they did in fact move them into the new room, the one next to where we were! We entered and again immediately noticed how small it was but it was two separate beds. Once we were washed in the very small shower with a frosted glass bathroom door (not exactly private even frosted it’s still see through) and fully refreshed we started to unpack, only one small wardrobe with a small safe at the bottom, there was a fridge, we noticed there were no extra blankets available and the aircon unit was directly over one bed giving the guest a full blast as well as being very noisy. The whole room was very noisy, the room door sits about 2 inches above the floor and isn’t very noise cancelling or safe for single women, we both had to buy ear plugs to get a decent nights sleep because from other guests talking, doors slamming constantly to office and reception staff could be heard at all hours. Dining hall is below the hotel bar, The selection of food isn’t large and we would normally stuff ourselves silly but not here, sadly, also found it poor that even though we were half board there are no drinks available at dinner unless you pay extra? We have never had that before. The pool you see in photos is the only pool and it’s very small as well as shallow, you can’t save beds which is good however actually getting a bed is next to impossible, we managed to get a bed once the entire week and the sun is only fully on the pool for maybe three hours a day due the built up area surrounding it. Entertainment is not worth staying up for, 3 nights a week there is either a “DJ” a basic keyboard type set up where a guy plays old top 30 songs while checking his social media, there’s no dancing, no interaction with guests, nothing or the 60+ Greek guy singing English songs very badly while walking away in the middle of his songs to watch the football on the bar tv, the third was a group of men playing instruments again no guest interaction nothing. All in all very boring. So the big question would I stay here again…. No I wouldn’t. Would I recommend it… if your of the 65+ and want to be in bed by 10pm every night then maybe with a caution but anything else no, it really is boring and dull atmosphere and unless you ask specific questions there is very little to no information given for surrounding areas or places to go, trips or how to get around. And I strongly don’t recommend the day trip to Marmaris it’s nothing but a sales pitch for gold, diamonds and fake designer items you get less then 3 hours free time once the “presentations” are over.

Breakfast was good. Room was clean but small. Had a bit of a sea view even though we just had a basic with balcony room. Staff really friendly. Pool disappointing but not far to walk to the beach and sea. Cats sat on the window ledge for breakfast and loved a piece of ham or sausage!

From the moment we arrived at 1am (due to delayed flight) we met only friendly, helpful staff who could not do enough for us. Even the cleaning lady went out of her way to help us when we were not sure what to do. We had most contact with the dining room staff, and honestly, they made the holiday twice as good as it could have been. Apart from the excellent food and service, they knew the best places to go, the best ways to get there, and somehow made time to speak with every diner at every meal. Savvas, the manager of this area, deserves a special mention - he was there at all hours and always smiling, friendly, informative and entertaining. The hotel itself has a lovely pool, seems stylish and spotless throughout, and although we only had one small problem with our room, it was dealt with straight away. It is less than five minutes from a beach and about fifteen minutes from the Old Town district of Rhodes. The dock area (for boat trips) is about ten minutes walk, although the hotel will organise trips that include pick-up and drop-off at the hotel itself. In other words, the hotel is everything you would expect for the 4-star rating. But it is the staff that make it feel like you are staying in a 5-star+ hotel. Thank you for a brilliant holiday that we will never forget.

Enjoyed our stay at the Semiramis (two friends, two separate rooms). Both air-conditioned rooms were serviced every day, beds were comfortable. My friend's room had a very small balcony, not wide enough to sit comfortably or to use the table that filled the narrow balcony. My balcony was spacious and we were able to enjoy the sea views. The restaurant and bar staff are absolutely amazing - they were helpful, friendly, and fun - it was a pleasure to be greeted by them at breakfast and dinner, and by the girls in the bar. The food was delicious, plenty of choice, and the menu was varied each night. The cocktails in the bar were superb. A huge thank you to Savvas, Eleni, Mikaela, Manolis, Electra, Matina, and not forgetting the lady who ran the bar at lunchtimes (sorry, I'm not sure of your name) - you all went over and above. You made our holiday. We would definitely return to Semiramis, mainly because of your welcome, friendliness, and joviality. You are a fundamental asset to the hotel. A huge thank you to the Semiramis Hospital Team.

A few small negatives which I will get out of the way first. We were holidaying with friends and had booked the hotel twelve months in advance. At the six month point my friend emailed and requested rooms adjacent to each other. So we were very disappointed to be given rooms at the opposite end of the third floor. When I expressed my disappointment the lady just shrugged and said we are full. I could be wrong but I can’t imagine that they were fully booked six months earlier. Our room was fine except for the long narrow balcony. It had a table but we couldn’t get around it. If we dragged it down to the doorway we could get around it but then we couldn’t get back out.It wasn’t comfortable to sit squarely either, we had to sit sideways. Our friends balcony was fine so we asked for extra chairs on theirs so that we could socialise and they very kindly gave us some. The hotel itself was very nicely furnished and kept very clean. The swimming pool, although small was fine with plenty of sun beds. Our rooms were cleaned regularly and the sheets and towels were also changed regularly. Oodles of hot water. The staff were lovely, really friendly and helpful, a very special mention for the Maitre’D, he was excellent and also his staff. Very efficient. The breakfast was amazing, so much choice, cold or cooked. Very near to the beach and the old town. Once someone had pointed out the shortcut it only took about fifteen minutes to get to the centre which was great. The hotel is up a hill but it’s only the last little bit that’s really steep, so it wasn’t a huge problem. All in all, apart from one or two hiccups we enjoyed our stay at this hotel.
