Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.

What a gem, tucked away in the magical old town of Rhodes - and peaceful, in what can be a noisy town at times. Five minutes walk to almost everything worth seeing (which is quite a lot!). Ellie and Jacqueline looked after us like old friends. Bed was so comfy and good aircon and wifi added to the comfort. Generous breakfast in the beautiful courtyard with its exquisite pebble mosaic floor was a highlight, and looked forward to daily. Try the Greek eggs with feta and tomato - delicious. If you haven't stayed here before, do!

We stayed there for 3 nights and enjoyed every minute of it. The hotel is located in a small side street and although the old town is very busy the place is quiet and peaceful. The rooms are beautifully decorated and offer a comfortable bed and everything you need for an enjoyable stay. The patio is beautiful and the breakfast Elly and her staff serve there is excellent. Elly is such a charming host and we enjoyed talking to her and the other guests over breakfast and drinks in the evenings.

We have been traveling to Rhodes for over 10 years. We have seen a lot hotels on the island. Hotel Ellique is definitely one of the best hotels you can choose, if you are looking for a quiet place in vibrant old town of Rhodes, which offers a charming, personal and quality-loving style. With a very friendly welcome, a lovely breakfast, quiet and safe, designed with love and with a sense for details, these four rooms give you peace and rest during and after an exciting day in Rhodes Town. The hotel is located in the middle of the very old part of the town - all you want to see and do is in walking distance. Value-for-money is perfect. We will come back!

Lovely boutique hotel in central Old Town location. Room was spacious, clean, with excellent amenities and a very comfortable bed. Breakfast was great with good choices. Ellie is a great host and transported our suitcases to and from the port with her Vespa, as well as providing recommendations for restaurants that we really enjoyed. Highly recommend!

The only reason I am giving this venue 5 stars, is because I am not allowed to give 10. This is a cozy, quiet, private retreat with only four rooms, a lovely courtyard, great security and a wonderful host. Each room is wonderfully decorated with clean and modern bathrooms, comfortable beds and linens and the feel of a five star luxury stay that should cost four times what you will pay here. Breakfast is served every day and cooked to order. Elly, the proprietor, will be your tour guide as you go to explore both the old a "new" towns of Rhodes. Follow her advice and, while you may get lost, you will have a wonderful experience. Did I mention that breakfast and the minibar are complimentary? Truly Amazing. Note: (smoking is allowed in the courtyard.

THE perfect place to stay! Seriously!!! Beautiful, centrally located boutique hotel within the walls of Old Town in a lovely quaint quiet alley! This was our first stop of our Greek Island tour...we were SPOILED. Elly and Mariann were a wealth of knowledge and catered to our every necessity/whim. :) They answered multitude questions, gave us directions, maps, called for a driver to take us around the island, recommended the BEST restaurants and shops. Elly has thought of EVERYTHING. High end linens, robe which you can purchase if you'd like and slippers. A/C, free wifi. Water, coffee, tea, beer, soda and a bottle of wine a day are included along with a sweet treat on your pillow at night. Fabulous breakfast choices! Coffee, tea, fresh squeezed orange juice, multiple local breads and sweet breads, fresh jams, and fresh mixed fruit of the season. Eggs anyway you'd like them!! Greek Yogurt with nuts and fruit, waffles. There are 4 rooms, orange, green, blue and yellow. The courtyard is beautiful with locally created custom stone mosaic. You can flush the toilet paper here! Not so in the rest of Greece. All rooms have very comfortable beds. No cars are allowed in old town so it's great for walking. Elly picks you and your luggage up in her golf cart at the 'San Francisco' Gate. One of the several entrances into the Old Town. This is a good place to get a taxi also. As this was our first stop in Greece we were so pleased with the town and Elly's accommodations...truly spoiled us for the rest of our trip. Nothing lived up to this Hotel and hospitality. If you are coming to Rhodes, book a room here...I would come back in a heart beat. Thank you Elly and Mariann, you are exceptional!

My wife Regina and I spent four enjoyable nights at the Hotel Ellique located in Rhodes old town. The hotel is very charming as are the owner, Ellie, and her friend/assistant, Marion. We stayed in the Kitrinos room, which is a spacious, tastefully decorated room on the 1st floor looking down onto the patio where breakfast is served. The service was impeccable and friendly and nothing was too much trouble. Ellie gave us excellent suggestions for nearby restaurants and even made us a booking at Marco Polo, a top-class restaurant which is nearly always fully booked – go there! The breakfast was a real treat and different everyday with local delicacies, freshly prepared, as well as fruit, yoghurt and eggs. What we also liked was that there was no charge for the bottles of water and beer available in our fridge. The hotel is also very conveniently located near the San Francisco Church Gate. Ellie met us there with a golf cart to bring us and our suitcases to/from the hotel, and, if you’re hiring a car to see the whole island (as we did and you should!), you can park near this church, only a 5-minute walk away. Our sincere thanks to Ellie and Marion. We highly recommend staying at Hotel Ellique.

Excellent location in Rhodes old town, but very quiet. Elly, the owner, picked us and our luggage up from the port. Lovely room. Breakfast was fairly simple but delicious. Highly recommended for a long weekend or as part of a longer trip to Rhodes

This is certainly the place you want to stay if you desire comfort, delicious abundant food, pleasant knowledgable staff and extensive information. The boutique hotel only has 4 rooms, but that makes it so intimate and wonderful. We booked this hotel not knowing much, but wanting to stay inside the Old Town Wall. We found a very comfortable bed, a fully stocked refrigerator with water, soda, wine and beer which is free to the guests and soft, comfortable cotton robes. Each morning we were given the choice of six different types of breakfast along with fresh fruit, fresh orange juice, coffee or tea and all types of bread-from croissant to rolls to cakes. We were so spoiled! Elly and Mariann ensured that our every question was answered and they helped us with directions and recommendations. We felt like royalty and never wanted to leave. You simply must experience the magic of Hotel Ellique if you are coming to Old Town Rhodes.
