Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.

three things I loved about this beautiful island: rhodes, for the incredible beauty of the ancient city. the south coast for wonderful swimming in the crystal clear waters. but the "village" of ialyssos will remain forever in my heart for its authenticity, like the smile of the people here, like its sea, which cannot be explained, you just need to come and visit it. we felt at home at Vivian's, thanks to her hospitality and kindness, she was also able to direct and advise us to make the most of our stay!

We stayed in Vivian studios for two weeks, Vivian and her family are very nice and kind people who are always ready to help you and suggest you beautiful places to visit or to grab something to eat. The room was very clean and it has all the furniture you need to spend a comfortable holiday

Whenever I visit Rhodes, I always stay at Vivian Studios and this time I had the opportunity to do so for the first time with my family! The studios are located at a nice and quiet spot which was perfect for sleeping through the night especially for our small baby. Vivian offered us a very comfortable bed for the baby which fitted well in the spacious room. The fridge was silent and the small stove was very convenient for preparing the baby's food as well as our own. The room was very clean, equipped with everything we needed and if there was something extra missing we could easily contact Vivian and she would immediately arrange it for us. The small balcony was excellent for relaxing after a long day's walk and has a netted door to prevent the mosquitoes from entering. That made sleeping very pleasant as we could leave the balcony doors open and did not have to turn on the air-conditioning. The studios are conveniently located a few minutes walk from the central road where the bus to the centre of Rhodes' old town passes from as well as about 15min from the Ialyssos promenade with organised beach and plenty of cute restaurants and cafes. If you are traveling on a low budget or want to keep it low I recommend staying at Vivian Studios.

We spent 2 weeks at the Vivian Studios. The room had everything we needed, a nice balcony, a quiet fridge, a shower ( with glass doors! ) always fresh towels lot's of space and a tv and an aircon! Overall it was a great stay and everyone was so friendly! Lots of parking spaces too and they cleaned everyday :) Only two small negative things though : 1. There are blackout curtains but they don't blackout anything xD so bring an eyemask otherwise it feels like the sun is telling you good morning personally IN the room :) at 6! 2.The bed was quite uncomfortable - very soft mattress due to the springs.. whenever my BF turned I was shaking too like a waterbed. If someone suffers from backaches this is not really for you. But we really enjoyed the stay! Oh and a small note.. the guest that were there with us from the 08.08-22.08 were super loud! every night they slammed every door they could find!

I loved my stay at Vivian Studios. Everyone there was extremely kind, helpful and generous. Our rooms were very clean, comfortable and affordable. My sister and I wished that we could spend longer on Rhodes just so we could appreciate the hospitality of Vivian Studios for a bit longer!

I've been at vivian studios for 2 weeks alone. For me was very quiet and clean with conditioned air. My room and my toilet were always clean. They gave me for free : a sea mask, a clean sea towel, a bag, and a sun cream. They gave me a clean towel for shower very often and in the toilet there are shampos, shower gels for common use. No light was entering in my room as we had the double curtains, there was mosquitos protection in the window and also I had always the tablets against bugs any time I asked it for. Internet connection was very good. Vivian and her mum have been very welcome for me, they really made me feel at home. Vivian really works very hard to make her guest confortable and happy. her mum and her were always happy to give me good advices, good help for locations, infos, and transport. They offered me a wonderful hospitality ; they have been very kind and very generous. All the staff always helped me a lot any time I asked for something. cheap, quiet and very welcome family atmosphere. The beach is only 20mins walk away... a nice walk and a good exercise. Buses to go to Rhodes are very close. And the Ialisos villae is very nice, good bread and good restaurants. The garden is very lovely with nice chairs good for relax. Cats are beautiful. I will recomend it and I will come back for sure.

The equipment is very simple. Although the owner gives her heart and soul for the development of the accommodation, its equipment, who has been in a similar apartment, you know, this equipment is just adequate. I think you can stay here for a long time only with compromises. There is no elevator. In the heat, the lack of elevator can be felt on the spiral staircase while carrying the suitcase. Quiet. The price value ratio is excellent despite these problems. It is recommended for a short, transit stay. I recommend to everyone the rich and varied breakfast served by the owner personally. Almost all of its components are made personally by the family. Mama's orange jam, their own honey, can make them proud. Serving is homely, dear. They are watching what you want and fulfill it. All my respect is theirs!

- Find another hotel instead of Vivian Studios. It’s more like a motel then a hotel. - Vivian and her mother are the only highlight. They're both very helpful but lets don't forget about that they’re both here for business. I heard that they tried to put a customer into their staff dorm room when she was not feeling right with a room at the ground floor. and I was totally understand. the room at the ground floor is full of bad odor from the drains and toilet. she couldn't sleep at night and nighter do us. - If you have to make a deal with Vivian studios. Pick a room upstairs not at the ground floor. Make that sure when you are going to make a booking. It’s not worth for the ground floor at all, no matter how cheap it is. - Be prepared everything in the room are dusty and sticky. I say that for the room that I paid more and the room that my friends stay at the ground floor. - Those staff works in Vivian studios are here for working holidays. They were cheap to hire and not well trained. Don’t expect too much from them. - if you are not all in budget. Why not give another hotel a try besides of Vivian Studios? - It’s not all bad but not worth it
