Sunprime Miramare Beach is an adults-only hotel in Ixia, on the northern tip of the Greek island of Rhodes. The hotel is surrounded by landscaped greenery and trees, and has traditional Greek architecture with whitewashed walls and flat roofs. You'll be a short stroll from Ixia Beach, where you'll find a long stretch of sand and views over the mountainous landscape. The nearest centre is within walking distance of the hotel. Here, you can experience Greek cuisine at restaurants and bars, or explore shops selling gifts, souvenirs and locally made products. The hotel has an outdoor infinity pool that looks out onto the Aegean Sea. If you like to be active on holiday, you can work out at Sunprime Miramare Beach's gym, or take part in the fitness classes that the hotel offers. There are also several hiking routes around the area where you can climb mountains, explore archaeological sites, and enjoy views over the island. For some relaxing downtime, you can book in for a beauty treatment at the spa. The hotel's pool bar is open throughout the day, serving a selection of local and international branded drinks. You can sip on a glass of Greek wine and then stroll across the sand while catching a sunset. The hotel's buffet restaurant prepares dishes to suit a variety of tastes, while the two bars provide cold snacks at different times of day. Sunprime Miramare Beach hosts regular evening entertainment to help keep you amused after dinner.

Detailed Reviews
The hotel and its facilities were quite close to the pictures that we saw on the tour operators website. The only minus I would give for the room was, that the decor in the room was a bit outdated. I mean if it is an adults only designed hotel that was at our time mainly used by couples, I would expect the decor in the room to be not so outdated as it was. I think with a little tweaks and touches the rooms could look a lot fresher and nice. Also the rooms were lacking amenities that usually exist in a four star hotel like: good shampoo, lotion, napkins etc. We stayed in the room 2031 and it was located right next to the main road and opposite side of the road from the bar street. If you are a restless sleeper I recommend putting some extra bucks to get a room next by the sea, so you won't be bothered by the noice from the street. The breakfast buffet was the same everyday and there was a lot of variates, but the dinners were always changed and designed according to different themes where everyone could find something to eat. What we found really nice was the fact, that the lunch was served by the pool bar and dinner by the lagoon, it offered great variety!
The gym facilities, pool, tennis court and the resort with all its amenities was more than enough for me and my girlfriend to spend the whole week there. There is a small shop at the hotel where you can get all necessary stuff for your week and by the bar street there is a lot of good places to eat it ; I recommend the Greek Taverna, ate there three times!

The hotel and its facilities are exactly as expected. We lived in room number 3011, where one of our terraces was directly out to the ocean and the other one was out to the pool area. The room was huge and there was a lot of privacy. Definitely worth the money to pay for a room near the ocean, since we heard that other people had problems with hearing noise from the main road behind the hotel. At our place we went to sleep to the sound of the ocean. There’s also a little kitchen in the apartment, where it’s possible to cook some food.
There was different themes every day at dinner, so there was something for everybody. We thought maybe that the food was a little to simple. Breakfast and lunch was there nothing to complain about.
The staff is lovely and really helpful. Other than that, it only took 10 minutes with a taxi to get to the old city Rhodos. Definitely worth a try

This was the first time my partner and I booked a hotel with an age limit, ie no children allowed, and let me say it was an experience we had never had before. It was SO peaceful at the pool and really the whole area - we were saved by the concept.
The food was perfectly fine for being a buffet, we had all-inclusive and therefore ate the majority of meals at the hotel. It never really ran out of anything and it made sure to be replenished all the time. The dinners were themed based on countries/regions of the world and therefore it was never the same food throughout the week we were there.
The large hotel area was dreamlike with smaller houses in small clusters surrounded by well-kept green areas and sea views. From our hotel room we had about 15 meters to the sea and no direct view either. The hotel itself does not get a minus because the road outside cannot be crossed without risking life, but it is something to be prepared for - pedestrian crossings do not exist in connection with the hotel.
The room had AC that was easy to control, TV with chromecast, own entrance and double doors facing the sea/patio to shut out sound and/or light. The bathroom would need to be renovated. Worth knowing is that toilet paper may not be flushed down Rhodes.
We had a good experience overall and can really recommend the hotel!

I was given a room with the worst possible location ever (next to the main road) and so many things were wrong with this place - I don't understand how it can be classified as 5 stars.
First; the smell from the tap in the kitchen was horrible (smelled like rotten fish)
Second; the noise from the mainroad was horrible, cars honking and driving by 24/7 and you will hear it all over the hotel area, including by the pool (forget listening to the waves)
Third; The bugs!! The worst part with this hotel was the bugs, the amount of bugs was abnormal and nothing that I have ever seen in a hotel room before. During my stay I killed several giant cockroaches that got in at night. The whole kitchen were infested with ants, I had to toss away all my food as it was covered with ants. Spiders everywhere. If you don't want to sleep together with cockroaches, ants and spiders, I recommend you to look elsewhere. Based on other reviews I've seen of this hotel - the bugs seems to be a big problem, especially the cockroaches.
Fourth, far away from Rhodes town, the hotel staff had no clue about the bus schedule despite a bus stop being located right outside - I ended up walking after waiting for 1 hour.
Fifth; worn out furniture and old moldy bathroom.
To conclude I cannot recommend this hotel to anyone, it certainly does not live up to 5 stars, it's all a beautiful fasad but on the inside it's all worn out, even the pool area was worn out. Please look elsewhere for summer season 2021.

Just got back from a 2 week stay yesterday. I'll start with the negatives, just to get it out of the way. I probably would give the hotel 5 stars if it wasn't for the extremely low quality All inclusive. This is by far the worst I've ever tried, and I can't even blame the Covid-19 for it.
The only meal we actually liked was breakfast, lunch and dinner was a disaster, all cheap ingredients and very poor meats.
You'd think for such an otherwise luxuries resort, that they would make the food experience better by tenfold.
For the money paid for the All inclusive, I could have had a nice steak for lunch and dinner, with a good desert and a couple of drinks at one of the many good restaurants outside the resort.
A minor plus for the all inclusive was the evening drinks which were pretty good, the old guy making them, knew his craft, so if you like to get your drink on, the All inclusive might be alright for you as well.
From now on I'll never take All inclusive at a hotel again, unless the entire resort is All inclusive, we saw it over and over again, how "paying customers" were treated like kings, and had awesome meals, while the rest of us looked like a couple of cheap charlies (although we paid a heavy sum for the All inclusive) and were resorted to eat overcooked chicken, and cheap pork and fish
I could go on and on, but I better stop here, in short don't take All inclusive, there are plenty og restaurants outside the hotel.
On a positive note, the staff and maids were sweet and nice, the Bungalow was brilliant, and although the lunch and dinner was dog food, then the seating right at the beach was brilliant, we loved the pool and relaxing vibe.
I would recommend this hotel without the All inclusive

I spent a week at Miramare Beach on Rhodes and the experience was a mix of both positive and negative impressions.
Upon arrival we were welcomed by a hassle-free check-in and the rooms, decorated in classical Greek style, had an authentic charm. The cleaning was impeccable and was done daily, which we really appreciated the Award. The hotel's location in beautiful surroundings also contributed to a pleasant holiday experience.
One of the biggest highlights was the excellent service at the reception. When we encountered an error in our Reservation, the problem was quickly and professionally solved by the friendly staff, which we greatly Awarded.
Unfortunately, our experience was deteriorated by a large group of about 20 adults/young who disturbed the tranquility the hotel otherwise advertises with. Their loud behavior and lack of respect for the other guests made it impossible to enjoy the pool area. It is disappointing that the hotel allows such groups to disturb when it is marketed as an adult hotel. Ironically, their presence was so dominant that we did not notice the otherwise mentioned traffic noise from the road.
Another disappointment was the lack of surveillance at the pool area. Although it was indicated that a lifeguard should be present, the lifeguard was often absent and stood instead talking to colleagues. This not only created an unsafe atmosphere, but there was also porcelain and glass at the pool, which is extremely dull and potentially dangerous. The hotel's failure to enforce security measures is worrying.
The restaurants at the hotel were often crowded, especially when there were several large companies present. The waiting times of up to 15 minutes to order drinks for lunch were unacceptable. It felt like the restaurants were not designed to handle so many people at once, creating a bad experience for the guests.
Despite these challenges, Miramare Beach has potential. With a more appropriate handling of reservations, ensuring a quiet and relaxing atmosphere as well as better surveillance and security at the pool area, the hotel could deliver a much better holiday experience

The hotel and bungalows are largely built on the beach, so the location is fabulous with fantastic sea views. That must be why it has 4 stars, as everything in the hotel is very, very worn. This applies to everything from maintenance, painting and outdoor covering to buildings, toilets, rooms, deckchairs and, for example, towels.
The staff is very friendly. The themed buffets are good; But drinks at the pool bar are not worth queuing for. On the other hand, the bar in the lobby is really good.

A beautiful hotel, located at a great location.
Pool was very large, and with a depth of 2,8m some places you have plenty of space to swim around
Other areas were more shallow, which was great if you just wanted to play around.
There was plenty of sun beds even if you came to the pool around 10:00-10:30, which we did. Keep in mind the hotel was fully booked, so that was great.
Many of the rooms had their own Sun beds, so if you wanted to be more alone you could opt to stay at your room and just use the ocean instead.
The ocean was extremely clear, and it had around 25 degrees water.
There is only one spot where there is a stair down to the ocean/beach, so it can be a good idea to bring some shoes with you if you want to use the other spots where you have to climb some rocks.
As a vegan I had my worries about the food, but there was a good amount of food I could eat for all three meals during the day. (Rice, potatoes, fruit, bread and olive were my to go food)
There were days where the buffet didn’t have any, but then the waiter order something specific for me, which tasted very good.(see photos)
There were also the possibility to get fresh pressed orange juice each morning.
The hotel has a mini market, which sites all kinds of things. Such as many variants of nuts (with salt), chips, water, milk (alpro), ice etc etc. very kind staff and open till 11pm all days (except maybe Sunday)
The staff is extremely friendly and very kind and will go the extra mile to help you. My go-to waiter was Vasili - 10/10 man.
It was nice and quiet in the evenings, which we were happy about.
The hotel is large, about 1km from end to end, but if you need assistance you can ask the hotel and they can drive you.
Our room was of the older versions it seems, at least compared to the photos of the hotel. It seems like the rooms closer to the pool have been renovated.
That being said it wasn’t bad, and quite cozy - but it could use a touch up in the coming years. We had 1037.
We only had 1 downside to the hotel and that was the bed. We found it to be quite hard and not particularly comfortable.
It took some nights for me to find a way to keep it soft. (I folded my blanket and put it under the mattress - after that I had no issues)
But do keep in mind, our own bed is on the softer end, so it could very well just be a personal preference.
Overall 10/10 experience. We could see ourselves coming back one day.

Such a cozy hotel area! We stayed in a junior suite two rooms with terrace and sea view (room 3015). Never lived so close to the sea! A walkway and wall later, the sea was there. We had two balconies! About 50 m to the pool. Large lovely pool that measured 29 degrees and no kids. Nice to hang out and look out to sea. Bathed in the sea, of course. Lunch was eaten at the pool bar and I like that you were served drinks in glasses. For breakfast and dinner we had 460 m to walk. Every evening there was a sunset. I like breakfast and lunch best, dinner was quite ok but I've had better. Was pleasantly surprised by their sparkling wine! But red wine and rose were not drinkable. The gym was cool and was great! Do not participate in any other training. Missed a nice beach walk in the morning.... You had to walk along a busy road but you could see the sea.

Disappointing that after two years of the pandemic the hotel hasn’t been able to come up with a showering solution for people vacating rooms at 12pm on their last day with a late flight - other than pool showers which I find wholly inappropriate. Whilst the rest of the stay met with expectations after previous visits the non availability of a shower on the last day will leave a lasting negative impression and a reluctance to book to stay here again. Very disappointing for a hotel of this standard.

I do not know if it is banned but I did not see anyone topless, I think there are other hotels that would be a better fit if you wish to be topless in the poolarea/beach.
We stayed in 3121 (first floor with balcony) very close to the sea and away from the road and a bit away from the pool. 3011-13 or 3111-13 is closer to the pool and still away from the road.
Yes quite a good hairdryer too
And iron amd ironing board
