This hotel has just been renovated to a high standard and the decor with exception to the dining room was very modern and clean, the restaurant had more of a traditional wood feel to it.

We booked a garden view swim up room which was lovely, private, well maintained/cleaned daily and well located and had sun all day long albeit not the entire balcony area.

The food was as expected for a Mediterranean AI hotel, there was ample choice but we would have struggled to have breakfast, lunch and dinner in the restaurant fortunately that wasn’t in our plans. We ate out every evening as there are lots of local restaurants near by most of them very good to exceptional.

There are pool towels for a €10 deposit each which you get back once returned and you can swap them throughout your stay. You can ask to extend your room as we had a late flight, this is €50. We were asked by reception if we had booked this via TUI but it wasn’t an option so we hadn’t maybe worth checking if it is as you can’t be confirmed until the day before.

There was also the pool bar which provides snacks during the day which we didn’t know until we arrived which was a nice welcomed touch including cakes, mini hot dogs, pizza, sandwiches and wraps. There was always scooped ice cream available in different flavours too.

I would not classify 4 star as the bars close at 23.00 and the premium drinks and a wider cocktail selection are chargeable, the entertainment is variable and there is no a la carte but the hotel and staff are lovely and I would recommend with these expectations in mind.

Dear Guest, Thank you for your detailed review and feedback on your recent stay at Myrina Beach Resort. We're delighted to hear that you appreciated the high standard of our recent renovations and found our garden view swim-up rooms to be lovely, private, and well-maintained as well as our staff members being lovely. It's great to know you enjoyed the sunny balcony and the traditional ambiance of our restaurant. We would like to clarify a couple of points for future guests. The price for late checkout does vary depending on the season, and since we are now going through high season, price might be different from the one you were asked to pay. Additionally, we have an a la carte restaurant that you might not have visited during your stay. We apologize if this was not clearly communicated. We're glad you enjoyed the variety of snacks available at our pool bar and found the pool towel service convenient. Your comments about the entertainment and bar service hours are duly noted, and we appreciate your feedback as it helps us improve our services. Thank you again for recommending our hotel. We hope to welcome you back into our family in the future. Best regards, Myrina Beach Resort

Amazing Hotel and Amazing Staff!!!:)
If anyone is wondering if there is any work still going on at the hotel, the answer is No, it's all completed. We are here with the family, and we have 3 rooms in 3 diffret parts of this resort, non of us can see or hear of any building noise going on. The deco is just as per hotels pictures on Trip Advisor- no more blue and yellow umbrellas. Everything is so good for the 4* hotel it's definitely strong 5*.
Staff is so frendky and always smiling, Antonis the Guest Relation Manager is amazing, will deal with any issue which you may have (if there is any issues at all):)
There are safes in the rooms -as I know that someone mentioned before that there aren't. If there is anything in the room what is missing then just let reception know and please be understanding as they have just reopened after full refurbishment therefore it's normal to miss some things from the bedrooms :)

We visited myrina beach hotel at the beginning of June 22, awesome location and wonderful view. The staff was always friendly and cheerful! You can always find sunbeds at beach and pool free of charge. Also very clean space for both public and private. Big plus the nightly entertainment program, we really had fun! Very convenient location on the island, it is about half an hour away from any interesting attraction of the island. I will be visiting it again soon with my kids as I saw several kids having fun with the kids club activities.

If you have children and you need to go to an all-inclusive hotel, then please please avoid this hotel.

As I am writing this review my wife is currently booking another hotel to get away from this horrible place. (This could not be done in the height of the season)

First the good bits.
Staff are very welcoming when you arrive at the hotel.
Hotel is very clean although it's starting to show some little niggely bits that need minor attention.
Gardens are very well kept.
Pool is large and views are amazing.
Can't comment on the animation team as we haven't seen them at work, but other reviews state they are very good.
Rooms are dated need a refurb but are kept very clean by housekeeping staff.

Now for the bad bits.
I don't say these things very lightly both myself and my wife work in the travel industry (26yrs+) and have stayed at some amazing 4 star hotels and some seriously bad ones.
This hotel is sitting at the bottom of the league table.

First thing
Single use plastic glasses all over hotel except the restaurant.
In this day and age this should not be done especially single use plastic,I totally agree with plastic glasses needing to be used by the pool but as an adult to be sat at the bar on an evening drinking out of plastic glasses is not acceptable for a 4 star hotel.
Drinks are not that good neither.
Now the food.
All you people that put the food is excellent must live on McDonald's KFC and microwave meals and your tastebuds no longer work.
The old saying is you eat with your eyes well I wish I was blind.
Nothing looks appetizing not had a hot meal yet.
Always warm putting it onto a very cold plate by the time you get it to your table it's barely warm.
Salad choice is very plain no variety it's the same thing everyday.
Now if you have children
There is nothing in the restaurant for them
No fries ever
No chicken nuggets in fact anything that children will eat and now your thinking well they can eat at the pool snack bar WRONG
No burgers, hotdogs, fries or even pizza to keep them going not even any ice cream (only served in restaurant pm)
So if your a family on a budget keep away will cost you more in the long run to eat out.

Costs
10€ for each beach towel
Refunded when you return it
3€ for decent coffee
Machine coffee is vile.
Saw signs for 10€ to rent sunbeds on beach this might just be for non hotel residents.
Bars do not accept card just CASH.
All bars stop serving at 22.45.
So to sum up,
Come here if your not eating and drinking.
If you are big at saving the environment then avoid.

This place is ideal if you want peace and quiet,on a diet and t total that hates coffee.

Popped across from Cyprus, 15 minute flight from Paphos with Ryanair. It was an early flight so arrived early not expecting to be let in to our rooms but was delighted to get our all inclusive armband early so we could have lunch etc.
Kiki the receptionist was really nice and helpful and told us to check if our room is ready before 1400. We got a lovely top floor room as I'd requested, very big and clean with a lovely view of Afantou Bay.
The food was excellent, we stayed 3 nights and nothing was repeated, lovely choice each day.
Animation team, bar staff, restaurant staff all smiles and looked like they really enjoyed their job. Everywhere was kept tidy, gardeners doing a fantastic job.
The pool was quiet and enjoyed our swims. Never used the beach sunbeds as we had a car so went off to beautiful Tsampika beach only 10 minutes away.
Will definitely return again for longer!

Quite possibly the worst hotel I’ve ever stayed at in my entire life. We arrived here today at Myrina Beach and already I am sorting an alternative hotel to stay for the rest of our holiday. TUI sent us an email a week prior to our departure to say that there would still be some “light” building works taking place as the hotel has “just” had a major renovation. I can confirm that the hotel is still a building site. Floors 1 & 2 aren’t second fixed in the slightest. There’s doors with no glass in, grout everywhere, the smell of cleaning chemicals is unbearable at times, it’s currently 21.40 and there is still drilling and knocking going on from the floors below. We requested a ground floor room due to having a 4 and 2-year-old, we’re on the top floor as none of the floors below are finished. The glass balcony has no supports and may as well be held up with silicone. It won’t be long until there’s a death here in my opinion. The door to our room doesn’t lock, therefore the kids can just up and leave as they please which is just beyond safe. Speaking of safe, there isn’t one in the room so you might need to pack a spare safe if you wish to stay here. No bottled water in the rooms. There’s live cables hanging out of walls so unless you’re into e-stim then I wouldn’t recommend. The staff believe they could sell ice to eskimos with the gibberish they spout to try and put you at ease but if they were selling houses I’d be homeless. The food, bit of a stretch to call it that if I’m honest. This is what I imagine Butlins to be like but I can only assume I’m doing a disservice to Butlins with that comment. So unless you’re up for falling off balcony’s, being electrocuted, eating things that they call food, sleeping in a construction site and being sold a Ferrari and receiving a unicycle then I personally wouldn’t stay here.

We understand your concerns regarding the ongoing renovation work and the impact it had on your holiday experience. Please rest assured that we take safety and guest satisfaction very seriously and all the issues you raised have been addressed and resolved already. We want to clarify that access to certain areas, particularly those under renovation, should have been strictly prohibited. We apologize if this was not communicated clearly to you upon arrival. Regarding your remarks about our staff, we apologize if their attempts to assist you fell short of your expectations. Literally a last minute booking - the day before. Flew out fri 22nd for 3 nights. As a couple we booked a double room with garden view and selected the double bed. On arrival no double bed so we asked if they could make it up to a double bed. Proved an issue as could only put a double sheet over the 2 single beds - ok first world problem. The mattress was awful and the room is more 3 star ( just) and dated. We complained and Maria intervened and got us a transfer for the next 2 nights to the executive room. This was a massive difference and mattress is perfect. She stressed all rooms were going to have new mattresses over the winter period. I would like to point out how professional and caring Maria was and she went above and beyond to salvage this mini break.

Good points:
Nice garden area, pool and access to a decent beach
Pretty good day and night entertainment
Maria the hotel sales manager
Friendly staff
Hotel kept clean

Bad points:
Food is poor. Very little variety. No greek salad. Just pasta. Nothing for kids if travelling with kids ( we were a couple only this time but thought it would be a disaster if with kids)
No fresh orange juice at breakfast just squash
Dinner options and lunch limited. In fact never seen such limited options at a so called 4 star hotel.
All bars close at 10.45 which is way to early for a 4 star hotel. Drinks are served everywhere is plastic cups! Drinks are watered down. Soft drinks are not branded. Its local coke and taste vile.

First impression was not too good but hen day per day was better and better. Nice location with hotel's beach and close to the nearest cities like Rodos and Lindos. Clean and with good food. Ok daily service at restaurant and bars. Unfortunately at the last days gold jewelry was missing from the room. After reporting to the reception and got an information "I'm so sorry and I'll report it to the manager" nothing else happened. It's a pity that in European hotel you got such a bad service. Seems like it doesn't mean too much for the hotels Management. Maybe they think that it's something normal in the hotels so any other reaction is pointless. Well finalizing after quiet nice stay you got such a bad impression that you don't want to recommend such a hotel at all.

Thank you for the nice holidays and the Beautiful time!

I really don’t understand why people give comments like the report before from Parris S.
Of Course is not allowed it to go to the restaurant with swimming wear or without clothes on your top. And of course if you will sit on the balcony on your room you’ll have to close the Air condition. And of course you cannot think that if some hotel has swimming pool that you will have sea view from the swimming pool. Maybe that you can find in Maldives but the prices there are much more expensive… People with this comment’s I cannot understand.
We had a great time, the food was beautiful and we relaxed very nice.
We will come again thank you very much

Had a great stay. We got there early, but rather than making us wait, the staff made us a priority to find a room which was completely unexpected (Kiki and the Male Night receptionist on Tuesday 12th September). The room was gorgeous! The Animation Team were awesome, they kept us happily entertained the entire trip (Ruth and Elvin especially). The best part of taking part of the activities was that the animation team weren't taking pictures of guests participating (we've been to other hotels where that happens and its very off-putting). Food was good too!
