My Partner and I visited Lutania Beach Hotel for 10days and a perfect rating would be 3 1/2.

First impressions were pretty good, the reception area is very clean and cool, hotel reception staff are very helpful and super cheery, we were given all the information needed verbally and written down.

The room was sufficient a little bit dirty in the bathroom but nothing awful, bed was comfortable with plenty of pillows, small little balcony that was nice to relax on in the morning (whilst the missus was still asleep) beautiful view of the Aegean Sea.

Pool area was clean and pool was lovely, decent size, plenty of loungers (they were all gone by 8.30am though) people seem to love waking up at the crack of dawn to reserve them, despite every bed saying "Do not reserve" we sat by the pool for 1 day from 9am-5pm and someone had reserved the bed next to us and didn't use it, not even once. Selfish people.

The beach was perfect (10€ per day for the beds) plenty of beds available all day, the sea is so clear and warm, we spent hours just floating around 😂.

Because we came out of school holiday times it was pretty quiet, the entertainment guy was a delight, he would encourage everyone to get involved, such a lovely guy.
As the title suggests its almost paradise, it would of been if not for a couple of points, 1. The food, omg the food, it was so samey every day, a couple of meats a day in some tasteless sauce, chips (which was pretty good to be fair) very repetitive every day, and abit of pot luck, nothing is properly labelled, if you have any food allergy the only option is to just starve, I accidentally ate octopus which was in a pasta salad 🤢 the guy that cooks on the open stove in the evening is slightly over amorous towards female guests.
2. The aircon in our room was shocking, when its 30°C every day and 25°C every night so a good aircon is a must, every night's sleep was a mosquitoes wet dream (sweaty warm humans to nom on)! I will say that it's not like that in every room, on our final day we were able to get a shower just before we left in a different room which had a very upto date air con system.

The public transport system is fantastic bus stop right out and airconned buses, we travelled to Rhodes old town and the waterpark in faliraki (free bus to the park)
We also booked a 5 hour boat trip to lindos which took you there and left you for 2.5hours and then would stop off a different beaches on the way back for a swim, would highly recommend it!

In summary, the hotel is great as a whole and the 2 points made above are what need resolving to make it amazing! Would we travel to this hotel again.... yes, absolutely if the points above were addressed.

Stayed here with my husband between 9th and 16th May 2022. The hotel is right on the beach and near to the town. We were given room 227 which is right off of reception. The room had no soundproofing so you could hear talking, people playing pool and whatever other noises throughout the night which made it very hard to sleep. The shower heads were both full of limescale and the temperature was very inconsistent, ranging from scorching to freezing without us adjusting it. Whether that was because we showered at times everyone else was or not it still is very unnerving.

The room itself was gorgeous and had a fair amount of storage area, it would've been nice to have a seating area inside although we did have a lovely balcony which looked right out to the sea and pool and had a heater so that was good!

The food was varied but the flavourings were questionable, baked beans but with dill and often runny especially. The themed buffets were interesting and we especially liked the Mediterranean one and anything coming off the grill as it was hot and always delicious. We got a 'packed lunch' on our penultimate day as we were going on a boat ride around the island but this was just small (stale) pastries, a whole tomato, half a cucumber (whole). We would've expected maybe some sandwiches or something easier to eat on the go! Also the hotel claims to have snacks available in the day but this is the same hard/stale pastries and 4 or 5 flavours of ice cream.

The pool was lovely and the whole pool area was kept so clean, and we usually could get a deck chair. These were lovely especially the ones that overlooked the sea!! The step ladder into the pool were rocking as you stepped on them which felt unsafe but there were built in steps at the shallow end also.

We paid around £420 each for all inclusive, shuttle and flights so obviously not expecting the world but there was lots of room for improvement. The beach is also very stoney and the sea drops off to be quite deep after a few (literally 2-4 from the shore) meters. But the sea is perfectly blue, the beach is clean and all the staff members were lovely. It was a well needed stay with gorgeous weather!!

We arrived here on Monday late afternoon, and it’s now Friday.after reading good reviews about the hotel, animation team and food, we are wonderering what all the excitement is about.
Firstly we have seen one animation member entertainment the same 4 or 5 people, there has been no interaction at all. Aqua gym non existent no fun at all, we are using our phone for some music by the pool
The food is often cold, even when it first comes out the kitchen, it’s only warm..must ask if there is a microwave somewhere.
First time at a hotel where there is no currency exchange, and to be told to go Rhodes 12 miles, to change money.
If you have a walking issue the beach in not really accessible..
On positive side
Rooms are clean
Pool area and gardens are well maintained
All staff are really friendly and helpful, especially Restaurant staff, bar staff too are speedy and friendly.

We appreciate it’s trying times right now, but I would rather be bored at home..

Even we travelled in the coronavirus period, everything in the hotel was perfect. You can find desinfection everywhere, everything is clean and desinfected. Staff is wearing face masks or shields and gloves, so you don´t need to be worry.
Rooms: We had superior room with sea side view and it was great. Room is modern, renovated, clean, big terrace, new air conditiong which is quiet.
Meal: There is a big choice of meal and it was really tasty. You show the waitress what you want and she gives you selected meal directly on the plate (so you can´t touch). Desserts and fruits (and other things) are in the plastic boxes which you can take by yourself. Also drinks were perfect too. (from 10-18h soft drinks, wine, beer, coffee, tea are served by bartenders and from 18-24h are served alcoholic cocktails).
Beach: There is a fee 8 EUR per day per 1 sunumbrella with 2 sunbeds. Beach is clean, more stones than sand, so water shoes are necessary. The beach is in the beautiful part of Kolymbia. And it is not noisy. There is distance almost 4 metres between each sunumbrella, so enough space for sunbathing.

I can recommend this hotel and if I will have an opportunity, I will come back. We really enjoy the stay. And I would like to thanks all the staff for caring and specially thanks to boys behind the bar!! They were always smiling and helpful!

The hotel is centrally located to explore Rhodes. However, if you just want to relax it is in an ideal beach front location with bars, shops and restaurants within walking distance. We particularly liked the Oasis bar in Kolimbia as it had a lovely atmosphere. We thoroughly enjoyed our holiday at the hotel and would love to return as it felt as if we were staying with our extended family ,especially Tasso, Angelo, Paris, Elizabeth, Marina, Andreas and Paraskevi who made our stay memorable. Nothing is too much trouble and the staff provided an excellent level of service prior to and during our stay. The hotel has high levels of cleanliness throughout and the food is always varied , well presented and extremely appetizing. The rooms are modern and well equipped with fantastic views. Definitely worth a visit and would thoroughly recommend the hotel

Don’t be deceived by 4*, it’s not! When you book a 4* all inclusive , you have certain expectations. This hotel has met none of ours. Firstly, the room was dirty with many ants and spiders, the shower head was broken, the TV did not work, the bed was making noises even when turning to the other side.. The food this hotel offers resembles fast food made in a motel, plus, due to COVID the hotel overuses plastic in insane amount. Be aware that all inclusive in this hotel does not include towels for the beach (you have to buy one) or the sun beds by the beach (4 euros per person per day). My advice- do not book this hotel even if it’s the last option on the island, it’s not worth your money!

Dear guest, With all respect to your feedback please allow us to state the following. During the covid19 crisis the health and safety of our guests is number one priority. Strict measures have been taken in accordance to certified and obligatory government protocols. Due to these actions certain hotel service procedures have changed. Especially with food and beverage issues. Social distancing, limited use of buffets and disposable paper and plastic cutlery must be respected. Please note that all plastic is collected and disposed for recycling purposes. Usually and most effectively, if we are aware of any problems with rooms, these issues are solved immediately in order to satisfy our guests. Finally, our hotel policy is to try and meet all guests expectations with all services promoted and offered. In fact, as stated in all our promotional advertising, beach towels and beach sunbeds are not included in the all-inclusive package. Thank you once again and please accept our best regards!

Maybe 4 stars in the 90’. The place is very wonderful, transparent sea with a small beach enough silentious to relax. Food Quality is medium but always with too much flavours and spices: if I should give a score I most probably would say 6,5 on a grading scale from 1 to 10. Our room had a fridge bar which was always warm heating the whole space around and the air conditioning was impossible to use due very terrible smell. The cleaning service was very poor and often forgot to change towels and amenities but
our experience is anyway influenced by what happened last night. We had a seriuos problem with ants (not acceptable in also 1 star hotel) and when We reported it to receptionist (with the photos) he was embarassed and escalated to manager office (few meters close). The manager didn’t have the respect and the decency to face us, to apologize or talk to us but simply said to receptionist that there were no other free rooms to relocate us. The only proud was the receptionist which came to clean the room personally. We also discovered the day after that such problem was affecting several rooms. A message to manager : please do not answer here to justify as you did with others because it’s too late and with no value as our vacation ended. Use rather that time to improve your job and your manners.
I strongly suggest to NOT CHOOSE such hotel. Choose rather a near one because the beach and the sea worth.

It's the seventh time when I come to Rhodes, a beaufitul place. All the other hotels you have stayed at were great, but this year we had an unpleasant surprise.
On August 2, 2022, around 9:00 p.m., I arrived at the 4-star Lutania Beach Hotel, where I had a reservation since February. At the reception, to my surprise, I was told that they were overbooked and they would accommodate me for one night at another hotel. I refused this and requested what I paid for and contacted the Christian Tour Travel Agency to resolve the issue, but they didn't do anything. After long discussions, they gave me a lower room for one night and informed me that they would move us the next day and offer us free sunbeds on the beach. The air conditioning did not work in room 345 and we could not rest because of the heat.
The next day, instead of moving us to another room according to the reservation, they pretended to repair the central air conditioner.
Attached are pictures from a so-called 4-star hotel.

After long discussions with the manager, they moved us to room 257, which we were told was according to the reservation and they offered us 3 days of free sunbeds on the beach.
When we went to the reception and the manager to extend the period for the free sunbeds, we were told that they could no longer offer them to us.
It is the worst hotel in Rhodes that I have stayed at, the reception is full of customers who are not satisfied with the conditions offered by the hotel. What is on the website is far away from what you can find here, at the hotel.
Shame on you, Lutania Beach and Christian Tour Romania Agency!

THE WORST HOTEL IN RHODES!!!!!

We enjoyed our stay in the Lutania Beach Hotel.

Location: the location was great. It was right on the beach which is pebbly. There are two watersports stations on the beach. I'd recommend hiring a pedalo! There are some fish to be seen around the rocks if you like to snorkel.
There is a bus stop just down the road which will take you to The Seven Springs, Lindos and Rhodes Town for very cheap.
The town of Kolymbia is nice. There are a few large bars and you can always see any sport there. The local restaurants are good, I'd recommend Ouzaki, and there are lots of local places to get amazing, cheap gyros.
Accomodation:
The hotel room itself was fine. A little dated and minor issues such as slow drainage and no lock on the balcony door.
There is also no air-con, just a fan. We were just about cool enough as we went at the beginning of the season but I'd imagine it gets stuffy later in the year.
Pool Area: The pool is great and a lovely temperature. We did struggle to get sunbeds due to people putting their towels on them all day and then buggering off!
Food and Drink: the drinks were great. We mainly stuck to the local beer which is very nice! Be aware you can only get cocktails and spirits in the evening here. Wine and beer is available all day.
The food was ok, but not great. If you have a fussy partner or children then maybe not for you! My partner is very fussy and found he was limited in what he would eat as most things are in some kind of sauce or with vegetables. I'd like the food to school dinners.
Staff: we found the staff helpful and overall friendly.
Places to See: Bus to Lindos, Rhodes and Seven Springs- cheap and all worth a visit!
Overall we would recommend the hotel for a cheap all inclusive.

We stayed at Lutania beach Hotel for two weeks in May with my girlfriend. Overall the hotel was very nice and the view was amazing!!!

The location was good. Very quiet place and just right by the pebbly beach. I personally loved that there was a great pool area and also a beach. Kolimbia as a town was pretty small but you can get to Faliraki (11km), Lindos (24km) and Rhodes town (23km) very easily by car or by bus so that wasn’t a problem at all.

I think the food was great. I love greek food so the greek all-inclusive was very nice! Nice variety and flavors.

One downside was soundproofing. You can clearly hear noises from the hallway to your room and vice versa. There wasn’t that much people that time in the hotel though so it wasn’t an everyday problem.

The best thing was the animation guy Alex! So fun, kind and approachable person. Loved all the darts and ping-pong tournaments he arranged and also the trip to Faliraki to see the nightlife!🍺 He made our holiday atleast ten times better!

I would recommend Lutania beach hotel to everyone who doesn’t want to be just right in the Rhodes centre but still want a peaceful and enjoyable holiday with good food, beaches and with great views.

Plenty of taxis but precooking/paying is cheaper (and you know what you're paying). I booked a private transfer with each time I've been to the hotel and it's very reliable in my experience There is a bus stop outside the hotel with buses to Rhodes town. Not sure of the frequency but timetables are advisory only - don't expect them to be on time. I didn't use them but understand that they are regular. Travel time to the hotel by taxi is approximately 40mins

At the Lutania, they are €25 for a pair. A 5 minute walk north, there is a very pretty bay with a sandy beach. There are nicer loungers there for €20
