The room was horrible, completely different from what i saw at booking.com when booked the room. I attach the pictures, this type of the room does not even exist on the site. We've asked the explanations at the reception, and were told that the there's a big group of bikers in the hotel so all standard rooms were booked. They...

Accidentally booked this hotel for a 2 night stay, not knowing how far this was from Amalfi and Positano. Nevertheless, i am glad that the room and the view of what i had booked is just magnificent. This is not the normal 4 or 5 star hotel you come across in large cities yet it has a class on its...

Hotel Bristol is focused on its "event" business so if, like us, you happen to be there when a party occurs do not expect to sleep. Loud music blaring from the rooftop party space makes sleep impossible until it stops - well after 1 a.m. Staff is helpless to do anything. Also do not eat here - meals are poor...

Stopped for lunch here on way to Salerno. Hotel lobby very uninviting with equally uninviting reception staff!!! Howevr our saving was travelling to the top floor restaurant. Bright decor wit panoramic views of coast...spectacular. lovely welcoming staff particularly our Italian waiter who had lived in Ireland for 10 years and cant wait to go back....this remains a mystry to me...

I stayed with my family for 2 days and we tryed 2 different rooms, there's a floor completely renovated and the room was very nice with a huge tub and beautiful view. The other rooms are old and very average. Food was not so great but people of the restaurant very nice. The position is fantastic in 2 steps you're...

This is a three star hotel in the most fascinating location. It is located on the side of a cliff with dramatic views over the sea. To the left, the port of Salerno, to the right the cliffs of Vietri Marina. As a retired couple without a car we were initially challenged by the steep walks both up to the...

My husband and I stayed here as we traveled throughout Italy (Venice, rome, tuscany, and Amalfi coast). We were pleasantly surprised with this charming hotel. We had a room with the most breathtaking ocean view we could ever had hoped for. Air-conditioning was just fine, no problems. Hotel is a little out dated, but t is very well run and...

This was our fifth or sixth stay at the Hotel Bristol. We love the setting, the kindness of the family and staff and the food. Breakfast in the Solarium is a treat to start the day as is dinner on the terrace at the end. A added highlight is a discount for guests at the family's ceramics store in the...

the view from our room was great and it's a close walk to town but the staff that run the hotel are so rude and do not treat you like a guest at all. Even was told we should speak Italian! They wouldn't give us a cot either, it was just a plain NO. Not sure how this place is...
