Well.... After searching and searching because Amalfi Coast is huge, and talking to quite a few people on the phone I found Rita ( with a capital R! ) and her husband Salvatore! From the first moment on the phone she was so polite.. She...More
We chose this hôtel at random and we were not disappointed. The rooms are sparkling clean, all with a balcony overlooking the sea. It is very calm in a small village. We visited the whole amalfi coast (of course we had a car, if you...More

I'd say it's about 800 vertical feet above the beach. We didn't go to the beach at all, but I think there's one below the Hotel Belevedere, which is the stop you'd get off at from the bus to catch a ride up to Locanda. From the Belvedere, it's a winding climb up the side of the cliff (preferably in a car) on a road to reach the hotel. Alternatively, if traveling by bus you can take it into Amalfi and then catch another bus to the Bivio Conca stop on the Agerola line.
