The perfect location for exploring the Amalfi Coast. Quiet and out of the heavily touristed area, but with easy access to great local restaurants in walking distance, Il Pavone was great. The views from our balcony were beautiful, bested only by the view from the upper floor breakfast terrace. The super friendly owners put out an incredible breakfast spread, with amazing fresh fruit and pastries, fresh juices and eggs to order. Coffee, Cappucino, espresso all made to order. The room was clean and modern, with A/C that actually cooled the space well, unlike many others. They offer in garage parking for just a little more per day, which was great for our rental as the street parking out front is very narrow. The bus stop is a few yards away to utilize the public bus system to travel into Amalfi (10 min) or walk down to the shore for a water taxi. From Amalfi the water taxi to Positano was just 20 min and a great way to see the coast. Also just down the street s a Michelin starred restaurant, which we did not ty, but we did visit their bar for sunset drinks (amazing). And within a short walking distance there's a pasticerra, a great pizzeria (all types of food), and an upscale seafood restaurant. If you're looking for a great stay outside the hustle bustle, Il Pavone is perfect and very reasonably priced.

A fantastic little B&B on the Amalfi coast. Conca dia Marini is situated between Positano & Amalfi, so if you don’t want the madness of these two this is perfect. Everything about this B&B is fantastic, the room, the location & particularly the breakfast! There are a few restaurants just a short walk away if you don’t feel like venturing far from the room or it’s on the main bus route should you want to travel & don’t have a car. We had a hire car & were able to park outside with no trouble at all.

We've just returned from a second stay at Il Pavone; we stayed last year for our honeymoon and this year for our first anniversary. This place is easily the best place we have ever stayed. The view is breathtakingly spectacular, the rooms are spacious, clean and comfortable and the hosts are amazing. Salvatore and his family are so welcoming, they will do anything for you, and make you feel like part of the family. The breakfast is served on the terrace over looking the wonderful sea and beautiful coast, with fresh fruit, a selection of cakes, a choice of eggs with tomato and mozzarella and a whole manner of toasts, jams, local honey, cheeses, hams, cereals, biscuits, there is truly anything! All served with fresh orange juice and a choice of coffees and teas. The location is excellent, nestled into the beautiful coastline and within walking distance to restaurants and bars. The beach has a shuttle service but equally the steps up and down, although challengingly long!, give you a good view and orientation round the town. We personally chose to walk to the beach every day and back up, but that was so we could indulge on pizza! Having returned for the second time, we were both surprised and delighted to be recognized out and about, and small touches like waiters from restaurants waving as they drove by, and being welcomed to the beach really made us feel welcome to the whole town. Everyone is so friendly and warm. We will definitely be returning again. This is absolute paradise and highly recommended for a relaxing and tranquil break. The gardens at Il Pavone are full of hammocks and swing chairs and are so quiet, it's like being in your own private tranquil paradise. Thank you again Salvatore and family for such a wonderful experience!

I can't say enough good things about B&B Il Pavone. From the moment we arrived to the moment we left, we were taken care of by the most gracious hosts. Upon arrival we were served limoncello shots and given tips on where to eat and visit on the stay. The hosts even helped us figure out the bus routes to take for a boat tour we were taking the following day (and gave us bus tickets so we didn't need to buy them). Everyone was so willing to help us with reservations, tips, answering questions and even giving us rides when we were crunched on time. Now, onto the breakfasts!! The nicest, most lavish breakfast spreads we have ever had. Fresh eggs, caprese salads, fruit and homemade pastries! All delicious and perfect. Also don't miss going up to their gardens! They are well kept, have beautiful flowers, fruit trees, hammocks and chairs and insane views. We enjoyed some apertives before dinner up there and it was one of my favorite parts of the trip. All in all, this place is a 10/10 and we would recommend it to anyone.

We had very high expectations after reading all the great reviews, but Il Pavone actually exceeded them. Amazing hospitality, nice clean rooms with private terraces, a view to die for and a breakfast better than most luxury hotels. Add to that a garden in full bloom and a shuttle service to a great beach club, and our stay simply could not be bettered. Needless to say we’ll be back.

We stayed for 7 nights in B&B Il Pavone in September and would have stayed for 70 more! Salvador and his family run this place and it really feels like a home away from home. Initially we booked a hotel in Amalfi but we weren't guaranteed a balcony plus it was almost three times the price without breakfast! I was apprehensive as Conca Dei Marini is about a ten minute bus journey into Amalfi however we ended up being so grateful we were staying in a quieter area after such busy days! From the minute we arrived Salvador told us about the local beaches and things to see. The B&B itself is beautiful and the gardens and hot tub were a bonus! The room was cleaned spotlessly every morning, I don't think I've ever stayed somewhere that was cleaned so well before! This B&B is 5 stars and the breakfast was the best we have ever had! I've stayed in numerous 5 star hotels but there was something really special about this place. It has so much character and the family especially Salvador's Mother made us so relaxed! The room itself was extremely spacious with a balcony with the most gorgeous view. The terrace for breakfast was breathtaking we would have stayed there all day looking at the view. We would love to return to Amalfi and will 100% book to stay here again!

Simply the best: Breakfast Room View Host family Highly recommended if you’re looking for peace and quiet and still close to everything. We had a rental car and explored the beautiful Amalfi coast - Sorrento is also worthy a visit.

We stayed for a week to celebrate my wife’s 50th birthday and had a fabulous holiday. The accommodation is first class and the family could not have been more helpful. From suggesting days out to dropping off at Amalfi and beaches they were superb. Everyone comments on the breakfast and they are absolutely right, massive variety to top you up for the day. Omelettes were exceptional. Thank you for your hospitality.

We stayed at Il Pavone in our first visit to the Amalfi coast. Salvatore and his family welcomed us with lemoncello and immediately made us feel at home. He helped us plan our stay in Amalfi and recommended places that we might have missed otherwise. The house has a beautiful garden terrace, with one of the most amazing views of the sea we've seen. It was a great place to relax by the end of the day. Breakfast was served in terrace with the sea's view and it was absolutely delicious, with homemade jam, fresh tomatoes and basil from the orchard. Thank you Salvatore & family, we had a great time and hopefully we'll come visit again soon!
