We stayed here for a week in March 2017 and every aspect of our stay was fantastic! The rooms are comfortable, stylish and spotlessly clean. The breakfast is incredible with a range of delicious locally sourced produce. What really makes this place however are the wonderful owners, who from start to finish did all they could to make our stay...

The rooms at Casa del Portico are spacious, clean and very cosy and there is a big garden with a great view of the lake. The place in general has a very authentic Italian vibe and the staff are very friendly. We arrived after check in hours, so we email the hosts and they responded immediately and asked if we...

Sometimes you're lucky enough to find a place that is head and shoulders above the rest. That would be Casa del Portico in a nutshell. Excellent value, amazing "breakfasts" (fuel for the whole day), quality construction, spacious rooms, soul enriching garden and bountiful home grown produce for those breakfasts. As many reviewers have noted, Alice and Giorgio couldn't be more...

Our room was spotlessly clean, and well-appointed. There was a glorious view of Lake Como from the window. As other reviewers have noted, the breakfasts were memorable with lots of tasty, homemade food - not just cold meat, cheese and a tired croissant! Lovely omelettes, even tiramisu (!), yoghurt - enough to keep you going for the day (with the...

Very nice place to stay. The breakfast and the cheese degustation were so good that I miss them. The rooms are clean and beautiful. It is better to choose the room with the see view. The location is great, not in the city, but all places are so near and reachable with ferry or little train or car. The owners...

This B&B is situated on the hill overlooking Lake Como and its beatiful! The owners are very nice and engaged to make your stay perfect. Perfect location for day tours or walks along the western lake coast. Or take the ferry to Bellagio, everything is there for your enjoyment!

Our room was clean, nicely furnished without crowding, with views. The bathroom was large and clean as well. A large lawn with views of Lake Como and tables and chairs invite relaxation. In the evenings, Giorgio and Alice light small candles throughout the house and yard. Beautiful scents add to the welcoming environment. Best of all, however, is the incredible...

A lovely place: in the most beautiful location, beautifully decorated and maintained, and run by the friendliest and most helpful people. And every morning the most delicious and varied breakfast made from homegrown ingredients (raspberries, figs etc.) with home-baked bread, cakes and jams and chutneys. Highly recommended.
