We are staying here tonight and I feel very fortunate to have found it. The desk staff was super helpful when I arrived this Afternoon without a reservation. We have a room that has a great view and doesn't require walking up or down steps. It is well decorated, quiet, comfortable and centrally located. The desk staff parked.my car, without...

I liked this place, fantastic views of Tuscany and very nice hill top town. Rooms a little dated and bed somewhat uncomfortable. Breakfast OK, Has very nice surrounding and pool with deck. Not a luxury hotel but probably quite good value.

This is one of the few hotels in Montalchino. If you have a room overlooking the valley you will wake up looking on the UNESCO's World heritage site. Amazing. Very quint hotel with the pool. Good breakfast and pleasant environment.

Not luxurious: fairly plain but fine. Great deck with a pool and common areas. Good breakfast. Tough parking (and driving in the narrow streets): be prepared! One of the best views I have ever had from a hotel room. You cannot beat the cost either.

My husband and I stayed here for a couple of nights while visiting Montalcino. You may consider this hotel just for view- it was breathtaking. However, if you value quiet and a comfortable bed you might want to look elsewhere. Pros: great location, clean, good breakfast and free wifi. The service was also very good. Cons: the bed was uncomfortable-I...

We chose this hotel because they have free parking near the hotel and it is very close to the city center, you can walk everywhere. Room was clean and people very friendly. Breakfast is fine. They have a nice pool overlooking the plain but the water was very cold when we went.

This was our third visit to the hotel. It keeps getting better and better. Not sophisticated nor luxurious, but who needs those when you are in glorious Montalcino and the whole of the Val d'Orcia extends below your bedroom windows? Staff are friendly and helpful, breakfasts are plentiful and sensibly-timed, accommodation is fine. There are no downsides to this hotel......

We chose this hotel because of it’s proximity to town center and it’s overall price to return ratio. We were greeted by Martina who was all smiles and very friendly and helpful. She gave us a quick tour of everything and ushered us to our rooms. Design of the hotel is rustic, tuscan, artistic…if that makes any sense. We booked...

Easy parking next to the hotel. Friendly staff. Great, clean room with fridge that can be used to chill all your water bottles. Good position with an easy walk to the restaurants and the centre of Montalcino though every walk starts with a steep 25 metres uphill. (Montalcino is on many levels) The small pool was nice but cool even...

This hotel is well located, just inside the walls and within easy walking distance of the town's attractions. Rooms are small, but very comfortable, and have a Juliet balcony that overlooks the valley.

Our hotel is situated in part of the eighteenth-century “Catasto Leopoldino” in the historic centre of Montalcino. The rooms at the back afford a splendid view, taking in the Val d’Orcia and the Val d’Arbia.Opening out onto this backdrop is a large, panoramic garden, where a swimming pool has been created to resemble a medieval fountain. In the remaining rooms, some of which are laid out on two levels, you can breathe in the typical atmosphere of an ancient Tuscan village. ... more   less
