My wife and I spent our honeymoon in Italy and stayed with Robert and Lucille and had an amazing time. They both welcomed us into their place with hugs and made us feel at home! It is a very nice quaint bed and breakfast where Robert makes amazing cheese omlettes and Lucille has these wonderful jams from other places to...

We had two lovely days in Montalcino in September. Robert and Lucille were the most generous and gracious hosts. Delicious breakfasts, helpful suggestions for places to eat, and a beautiful day trip. Can't wait to return. Highly recommended.

We thoroughly enjoyed staying at Palazzina Cesira. Roberto and Lucilla were the most gracious hosts. They were enjoyable to visit with and they always provided great information on things to do and places to go. The breakfast was the best and a good way to start the day. We were there for 4 nights over the holiday weekend of November...

Very comfortable and cozy B&B. Ample and clean rooms. Great location, in the heart of historic Montalcino. It's an old building, from the XIII C, the B&B is located in the first and second floor. The owners, Robert and his wife, were very helpful and their recomendations about restaurants and places to visit were excellent. Highly recommended.

It seems everyone in Italy is relaxed and gracious hosts, but Robert and Lucilla were just the nicest people we stayed with, as well as extremely helpful in planning our itinerary while in Montalcino. Each room is unique and the pictures do not totally do them justice. It definitely is worth spending the extra money for the better rooms. The...

Though we only stayed one night, and it was back in Spring 2013, I wanted to say 'grazie.' We were just reminiscing about how incredibly helpful Lucilla was in recommending things to do. Though our stay in Montalcino was a brief part of out trip to Italy, her recommend restaurant & wine shop/tasting are some of our favorite memoirs years...

Hotel building dates from 1250 but has all the modern amenities. Great room, great bed, great views of daily life on the streets below. Robert and Lucilla were awesome - the morning omelets superb, the helpfulness with cars/trains/side trips/maps/phone calls was key in preventing frustrations, plus they are just genuinely warm caring people. WiFi in rooms can be spotty but...

My wife and I spent 8 days staying with Lucilla and Robert; no one has been ever kinder or as caring as these two proprietors. Our breakfast each day lasted over an hour as we conversed about things to do, culture, history, suggestions, directions... These are lovely human beings who take pride in their lodging, food and service. Grazie mille!

Robert and Lucilla were the perfect hosts throughout our stay. We were in contact with them prior to our trip and they gave us some outstanding advice on local attractions and whether or not to hire guided tours or "wing it" on our own if we had a rental car. We had wonderful breakfasts in a beautiful dining room setting...
