Was here last night with my son. Great buzz in the place, we got a table pretty quickly. It's really quirky in a cool way. The fixtures and fittings are lovely, old fashioned and the atmos is super. We had steaks and my son's was overdone but they immediately took it and replaced it with a minimum of fuss and... More

I love to go to the Moorings where the food is always excellent but every so often I need to satisfy my fix and have their chowder. It's famous with all my family and friends who come to visit. I have family coming from Australia and the UK next week and they will be looking to go to the Moorings... More

A lovely bar located down on the Quays in the town. I just love this bar, it has a great atmosphere with a great mixture of locals and visitors. Really tasty food and the pints are good too. There are a couple of really cosy areas where a party of ten or so can have a really intimate and private... More

Room was reasonably priced, room was clean bathroom could do with a bit of a facelift. Breakfast was great, just too much I couldn't eat it all. Nice pub with friendly staff, the staircase could do with a complete overall, obviously gets a high volume of people walking thorough. Definitely worth a visit or an overnight stay.

The Moorings is our favourite place to visit in Ireland. The B&B is comfortable, affordable and has the best full Irish breakfast. The staff are friendly and very accommodating. The Seafood Chowder with their famous brown bread and all menu items are fresh, delicious and will keep you coming back for more! The owner Marie is a wonderful welcoming host... More
