Old and dusty. The room was not clean, linen dirty, silly carpets on the walls, small tv from the 90s, bathroom worn out. Saw cocroach in the bathroom, in the morning found really small bugs on my clothes and in the suitcase (see video). Terrible experience, have no good word to say about this hotel.

We came as a couple on a hiking tour along part of the Lycian Way. This was our first stop over and possibly the worst accommodation we stayed in during our entire trip - and we mostly stayed in simple hotels and guest houses. Our room was small, hot and dirty. Only one room light worked and the electric socket was quite dangerous. Worst still, our bedding and towels were also unclean and stained. The food was just adequate, whilst the staff were largely unhelpful and abrupt. Noise from the bar across the road went on until 2am making it hard to sleep though I appreciate that there is little the hotel can do about this. I truly can’t understand how this place could ever have achieved 5 star ratings on Trip Advisor. My recommendation is avoid.

We visited September for something to eat. Staff seemed ‘off’ not like previous years and we didn’t even get a ‘please or thank you’ whilst ordering our food. The young lad who works behind the bar was the only one who actually had manners and good customer service skills. The cats was an issue we understand there are cats there it’s to be expected but having them literally pounce onto your table whilst your eating and the staff just turning a blind eye to it is wrong and off putting. The English woman there was abrupt with us when asking for an astray we was told ‘over there’. Won’t be retuning shame as had great times here in previous years.

We have been coming to Kayakoy now for a number of years and on each occasion have enjoyed many great meals at Muzzy’s Place up until now that is. We are currently enjoying a holiday here in Kayakoy and as usual we made a trip down to Muzzy’s yesterday. To our astonishment the standards have fell far below par and the prices are a total rip off. 130 TL for a bottle of efez far more expensive than any other restaurant in the area. My wife ordered the sea bass and I ordered steak with peppercorn sauce. Whilst the sea bass was ok my steak can only be described as cheap frying steak total weight around 2oz. Total bill for the food and 3 bottles of efez 10006TL. We were constantly pestered by 3 Ferrell cats and once we finished our meal we made use of the toilet facilities before heading off. These can only be described as utterly filthy much the same as the state of the tables we were served our food. Today we eat at a highly rated restaurant my wife went for a chicken burger with salad and fries whilst I had sirloin steak wraps salad and fries. Both meals included a choice of tasty dips and our total bill here including 2 glasses of draught efez came to 500TL. We are very disappointed to say the least at how this place has not only gone so far down hill since we were last here but how much you get ripped off for average food and beer. We will never return here again. …

Great stay here. The staff will do everything possible to make your stay great Great atmosphere, great food, great pool area. Muzzy, his wife, sons and the rest of the staff really do go above and beyond. Great location to explore the surrounding area.

Excellent Location after walking in Ghost Town Beautiful Place to rest and have something to eat or drink. İt is a family run place very friendy Swimming pool also available there. İf you dont want to walk info ruins of Kayaköy; You can sit down and wait when the rest of your family is walking..

After visiting here about six times over the last 10 years we won’t be back. The reason is that we felt that we were over charged for drinks. We paid 310tl for 1 coffee and 3 beers and it was only afterwards we worked out that this was more expensive than any place that we had visited in Kayakoy. There are much cheaper places adjacent and close to Muzzys place and next time we will go there instead.

I stayed here during a Lycian Way Trekking tour organised by Amber Travel. In spite of arriving late in the evening, we were given a tasty dinner and a comfy bed for the night. I was not expecting air conditioning at a budget hotel but was pleasantly surprised as it was a warm evening. In the morning before our first trek, we had a tasty breakfast and a swim in the huge pool before leaving for a visit to the site of Kayakoy, just a stone's throw from the hotel.

We came here based off the good reviews and I would like to add to them myself. Visiting Kayaköy is made worth wile as Muzzys place is situated close to the ghost town ruins and you also get access to their pool along with a wide range of food served by friendly staff.

We arrived and was not impressed. We ordered breakfast and it came covered in black bits off the grill 🤮 sat by the pool for 1 hour beds needs some attention mats covered in bird poo and full of holes, pool looked murky and a few loose tiles round the pool. We left after this and walked round the ghost village and got taxi back to our hotel.
