This is a family owned/run site in quite a remote part of Devon, i.e. a twenty minute drive to the nearest big town of Tiverton..it's a stunning setting with superb views over the hills in all direction. We knew this before we came and it didn't bother us - its remoteness kind of adds to the charm and really feeling like you're escaping, plus the shop on site really has more than the essentials and is open all day so anything you need is there. The pub and restaurant is well stocked with good food and a specials board that changes daily and being where it is, there's a great and wide range of local draught and bottled beers with a good wine list too. Everyone is catered for both in terms of food and drink. The staff are very pleasant, not in your face with rules and dos and don'ts all the time. I have been particularly impressed with James, the owner. He is on site all day and absolutely nails the job of running the pub and restaurant in the evening. A proper worker and makes the time to stop and chat to visitors, adding a really refreshing and friendly personal touch. The bottle of wine he gave us when for our wedding anniversary was a lovely touch meant a lot to say he doesn't know us. We visited just after the easing of lockdown, when the site wasn't at full capacity, the children's play area was out of use and there was limited numbers of campers in the shower blocks, shop and pool, but the upping of the cleaning regime in all the facilities was very plain to see and a good effort was clearly being made in what were clearly difficult times. I rarely had to queue for a shower or anything. This is our second visit to Yeatheridge, the first being about 5 years ago. We will be returning. Keep up the excellent work.

We camped with another family and we had plenty of space to spread out with our two very large tents (we were on standard grass electric pitches). The pitch was on a slight slope, but not enough to really bother. The kids had plenty of space to run about and play right in front of our site.
We had views of the Devon countryside which were nice.
The amenities were very clean and it was great to have a shower block that has normal showers that stay on! We really dislike those that mean having to press a button for 30 seconds of water.
The bar and restaurant was pretty good value and allowed us to not cook on the final night before packing up.
We used the swimming pool twice with kids and they loved it, due to Covid it had to be booked in advance.

We also did a horse riding session and it was good to go around a decent length hack with the kids able to trot on the horses rather than the standard 15 min walk they get at some places near where we live.

We did find the complete lack of phone signal and/or WiFi frustrating as trying to plan things was near on impossible from our site and so you would have to do it beforehand. There was WiFi in the restaurant but no coverage on the sites at all. A couple of well placed outdoor WiFi access points would help the guests greatly as trying to book things is all online these days and with no phone signal, the site really should look at WiFi coverage (although we did somewhat enjoy how switched off we became) on the sites themselves.

The location is very central, so trips to the coast were a bit of a trek and I think if we had more time to plan outings then we could have done more walks or things locally.
We had a little fire pit (raised off the ground) which was nice to be able to do as most of the sites we have been to in England and France do not allow it.

All in all a great site with owners/management that are friendly and obviously proud of their setup and make an effort to keep it in good shape.

Just got back from a week at Yeatheridge farm caravan site. This was my 1st visit here and will not be my last.
The site is very well kept with large pitches for both caravans and tents. Obviously things were a little different with Covid 19 restrictions, but I must say the team did manage the whole thing very well.
Not once did I see the shower and toilet block dirty or messy (the team worked really hard to keep on top of this). There was also a mop and bucket of solution to clean the shower unit floors with before and or after use (just wish all visitors had used them after their use of the showers). Having said this, the showers were some of the best I have used. Powerful with loads of hot water.
Upon arrival we were greeted with a warm and pleasant welcome and all things were explained as needed.
Being a party of 2 adults, we didn't use the pool (but it did look very inviting). Bar area was nice as was the restaurant and food with very friendly staff.
All in all, this site was a gem of a find and I can only recommend that you give it a try.
If you are looking for a peaceful relaxing break, Yeatheridge Farm is for you.
The fishing pools were well used (not by myself) as was the woodland walks (I did do these).
This was a wonderful relaxing week off work for me and I will be returning again.

I visited last weekend (11th-13th June) with myself, my two sons, a friend of my eldest son and 2 dogs and we had a great time. The site is beautiful and maintained to a really high standard with easy access to all plots and lots of space between plots (we had a large serviced grass pitch). I felt very comfortable with the two 12 year olds off on their bikes alone and they kept themselves busy the entire weekend. Dog walking area was lovely and all the footpaths around and leading off site were great. We swam and my youngest rode a pony and all interactions with reception and staff was extremely welcoming, friendly and helpful. Due to the heat and amount of food we had on board we did not use the restaurant, however plan to go back and book in for a Sunday lunch as they looked amazing.

Thank you Yeatheridge Farm, we will be back!

We are here at present having yet another great family holiday, with lovely country walks, great clean facilities and indoor swimming pool, lovely fantastic value bar and food and helpful friendly staff.
However, I find the review left by Mr Parkhouse is totally inaccurate to what we witnessed as we were on the pitch opposite. Arrival times are from 12 Noon and departure times are by 10.00 am and these are clearly advised, to give the owner chance to prepare the pitch for the next visitors. However, we have always found the owner to be accommodating in the fact even if you have to vacate the pitch and you ask you can usually park on the car park to stay on site longer on the day of departure, what Mr Parkhouse has failed to mention he was still on his pitch at 11.00am with no effort to vacate and the owner had to ask him to vacate the pitch as he had another caravan to place on that pitch for the expected new arrivals at noon. ( as some caravans are left in storage and pitched by the site staff ready for your arrival) Mr Parkhouse did move his Motorhome to the car park and then continued to use the site facilities with his family (including the swimming pool) which i would have expected the family to leave immediately if they had been treated in such a poor manner that they state they will not return, or was this a way of obtaining and extra day without paying? ( Large corporate sites charge a day rate for using their facilities)
We thoroughly enjoy our holidays at Yeatheridge and have booked to return in October

Just got back from another wonderful holiday here at Yeatheridge Farm Caravan and Camping Park. We camped in our tent and had a fantastic time. We stayed here 2 years ago and, with the current Covid situation, knew there was nowhere better or safer to stay. The team were awesome. We had great correspondence before we arrived, everything was clearly explained, the whole team was simply superb. The Covid restrictions were clearly marked, sanitiser was available everywhere, the site could not have been cleaner. We cannot praise the whole team here highly enough. Even down to helping me arrange for a leavers hoodie to be returned as my boy left it behind! Thank you all for all you have done for us. We had such an amazing time, felt completely safe, incredibly welcome and looked after, had great food in the restaurant, a great bar selection, open swimming pool with safety paramount, just the best holiday. Thank you all so much.

We have just stayed at Yeatheridge for a week and had our grandchildren with us for four nights. It was perfect for all and really safe for the youngsters. A choice of Fishing, Horse riding experience or the Swimming pool and slide, all were clean and well looked after in the current situation. The layout is such that there are big areas for the children to play on slides and sandpits and the caravans and tents surround the area to give you the reassurance of being able to keep an eye on them. An excellent dog walk around the site is an added bonus for dog owners together with the doggie wash. Showers and toilet areas were spotless and suit the family setting with family facilities available. All this topped off with a bar and restaurant what more can you ask.

Thank you for your very kind review. Here at Yeatheridge we do try very hard to ensure that everyone has an enjoyable stay and that there is something for everyone. You don't even need to own a dog to enjoy the walking of which we have many routes around the farm. We look forward to welcoming you again to this glorious part of Devon. Many thanks

This was our second trip to yeatheridge so was a bit apprehensive as our first trip was so good, but it was great and easy to see why people come back year after year.

The one thing that stood out this year after going to a couple of other sites between visits is how clean the toilets and showers are and how amazing it is to have a shower that you don’t have to press on every 30 seconds!!

A shout out to the staff that are working extra had this year to keep things clean/ safe for their customers. Thank you for another great holiday.

We have just come back from a week's camping at Yeatheridge. The whole family has had a wonderful time. This camp site is a real gem of a find. Set in beautiful countryside in a peaceful location. It had everything my family could have wanted. The pub served amazing good priced food, there was a games room that had several pool tables, table tennis and table football. All again reasonably priced. The swimming pool was great, clean and perfect with a water slide. The camp shop was the best stocked I have ever seen and not over priced one bit. There was plenty of open spaces for the children to play safely and the camp was quiet at night. The bathrooms were clean and fresh and well looked after with plenty of hot water. The only thing that would have made the stay even better is to have more handbasins with soap to wash your hands after using the loo. There is a lot of handbasin but they are intended to use to wash in. It would be easy to take down a few cubicles and put up a few soap dispensers. Perhaps a better use of facilities. The only other very small issue was my phone struggled to get the WiFi some days. However, it was lovely to be off the grid for a bit so not a downside for me and my family. We had such a good time we have booked for next year.

Had yet another lovely stay here. We arrived in horrendous weather and left in the same. We were a small group of adults just there to enjoy some down time, which is perfect location.couole mile dog walk around the woods and dog shower. We ate everyday in the conservatory because it is such good value for food and drink, that it didn't matter we didn't take our own. On Sunday it was fully booked for roast, but they had a cancellation and someone found our pitch and offered us a table. It was such an amazing roast...so grateful. We've been 4 times now nd will be back again soon
