We stayed at the Coleshill Hotel this weekend Staying in a hotel above a bar obviously brings positives and negatives. It’s convenient to get something to eat and drink on the downside there’s plenty of noise. Our stay was comfortable, but slightly disappointing. The room was too hot and stuffy and all the towels were removed and not replaced.

Stayed last night, a friendly welcome on arrival. After a bit in our room we started getting cold (room 11) noticed the window catch was broken and there was a draft coming through. Mentioned it to reception who straight away offered us a room swap (to room 7). Lovely rooms with a nice big comfy bed. Had a few drinks...

The room was clean, but bath leaked, we did report it. But the worst thing is the food, I had the fish which was overcooked, inedible, my brother in law's mixed fish platter was cold, and undercooked. On the morning of our departure we gave up on waiting for our breakfast, (others served who had come in after us) when...

We stayed there on business for 4 nights. The hotel generally seems to be severly understaffed. Ther was never enough people to service the busy bar area. The food orders we put in, on the first night took close to 1 hour and on the second night having waited 45 mins for a starter we then waited another hour and...

Booked at short notice as overnight accommodation for a black tie function at the Motorcycle Museum close to Birmingham Airport. I stayed in one of the Georgian annexe rooms which was delightfully furnished and very comfortable. Bed very comfy even for a drunken sleep ! Breakfast across the road in the main hotel was great too.

Great service from reception as we were shown initially to a room that was above a noisy air conditioning unit . I went to ask reception if this was on all the time and straight away we were offered an alternative room . Beautiful decoration in rooms and very comfortable bed . Great location for our flight from Birmingham airport...

Stayed here for my cousins wedding nearby. We forgot to book it in advance so missed the rate of £66 and ended up paying £85, our fault. The rooms are above the pub no noise from the pub could be heard when we got in at 1am but could hear other guests trying to get in their rooms the doors...
