I can't really say much more but if I'd needed a new sole for my walking boots then a medium sirloin would have served that purpose well!! This is not the first time I've eaten here but after giving it a second chance, it will be my last.

We went for a meal on a week day evening. We ordered drinks and sat down with menus. Went back to the bar and ordered food. We ordered a medium rump which when arived came out not slightly pink but bloody. When cut with knife blood oozed from the steak. It was sent back and the meal was returned to...

Visited last Sunday for lunch with friends from Tamworth who highly recommended it as it was a place they used to go regularly. When we picked them up I asked if they had booked a table, they hadn't, I needn't have worried, when we arived at 2pm there were very few cars on the carpark (not a good sign) we...

Gave it another chance. Mixed grill was horrendous. Everything was over cooked. Jacket was undercooked. Partners steak was overcooked. Took 1 hour for jst two mains and the place was empty. No courtesy check backs on how our meal was. I didn't fancy waiting another hour for replacement. No one was around to even complain to so we left, shocked...

Private function for funeral. Couldn't have wished for a better buffet or organisation by the staff. Family from out of town stayed for a couple of nights and had no complaints and they were hoteliers themselves. Their professionalism turned the sad occasion into a family celebration of a kind. Thanks again.
