On arrival we was meet by sally who was such a nice lady. The cottage was very clean and had everything that was needed, we had a bbq the first night which was supplied by sally and greasy eggs and honey was bought (very fresh and tasty!) Think buy the fourth day we had consumed 24 eggs! Can’t rate this little farm and cottages any high Very very pleasant

Just had an amazing family get together at Lazy Daisy’s holiday cottages. It was the perfect destination, situated in beautiful countryside. Owners couldn’t be more friendly and helpful. Lovely holiday cottages which are well maintained and spotless.

We’re a family of 5, with grown up children and a teenager, plus small dog. We’ve just spent a fantastic 4 days at Michaelmas Cottage, where everything was comfortable, warm, cosy and immaculately clean. Our dog could have a run in the field opposite, we loved having some beers in the garden at the nearby Waggon and Horses pub, overlooking the water and also had great fish and chips from Wards in Penistone. Further afield, we visited Manchester and Sheffield, primarily so our middle daughter could look at the universities, spending great days in both, exploring the cities. We also managed a swim in the fantastic outdoor pool in Hathersage and climbed Losehill Pike, above Hope, in The Peak District, where the scenery was spectacular. Loved every minute of our trip.

We had a lovely 4 night stay at Lazy Daisys in the one bedroom cottage. It was very warm and cosy, beautifully decorated and kitted out. Our 2 dogs loved the long walks and nearby facilities were spot on. Will try and drag the family up to Yorkshire, next year, so they can experience an English holiday at its best Thank you Sally for the amazing honey

We chose Daisy Hill Farm / Lazy Daisy's as our wedding venue for 2020, we wanted a relaxed festival vibe and it was perfect! We had the use of a huge field which we were able to have our guests camp over for two nights and a teepee. The cottages were super cosy, sparkling clean, had everything we needed and with amazing views over the country side. Everyone had a great nights sleep and were impressed with the cottages. The cottages were big enough to have our parents and grandparents stay over, plus plenty of space for the girls to get ready. The photos around the farmyard are incredible (we even roped in a couple of the farmers and their dog for a quad bike pose)! Nothing was too much trouble for Sally, Andrew and Chris and they were always available to answer any questions over the weekend, if farm duties took them away from the venue there was always someone to contact. All the way throughout it was clear that they had our wedding in mind, such as moving tractors and trailers away from where our guests would be and due to fairly wet weather, were available to pull trailers onto the field for our suppliers. Communication was great all the way through and obviously being a turbulent year, they were really accommodating in allowing us to move our dates which made some very stressful planning just that little bit easier! Thank you to everyone at Lazy Daisys for making our day amazing!

Stayed in Dasiy Cottage for two nights for a short break, along with our little dog. Thoroughly enjoyed the stay. Spacious rooms, nice and clean with modern facilities. Comfortable bed and sofa, nice sized television. Enclosed patio which was great for our dog to wander about in. Plenty of walks only a short drive from the accommodation and beautiful views from the cottage itself. Wi-Fi was great too. Host was very friendly and helpful, would definitely consider staying again.

We initially booked through an intermediary who messed both us and Lazy Daisys around. After an incredibly helpful phone call with Sally we booked direct and it was plain sailing from there on. Michaelmas cottage is fabulous and has everything you will need. The upstairs living area is wonderful with a pleasant view and easily enough space for a family. The bedrooms are a good size and have been well thought out, down to things like plenty of sockets for charging all the electronics. The bathroom has both a bath and a good shower. The kitchen has everything you need to cook a decent meal and everything you need to eat. The hospitality from Sally and her family is wonderful and the area itself is nice and peaceful, but close enough to towns if you really want the hustle and bustle. So good we’ve already booked a return visit.

We are currently staying at the Daisy cottage, arrived sunday late to be greeted by sally a gorgeous lemon cake and tea. The cottage has everything you need and is clean and convenient! What a lovely greeting after a long drive. We have loved staying at the cottage. My little boy who is three literally will think home is boring now as he cant look at a tractor every day and enjoy a ride on one! Very kindly people working on the farm took time out of their busy day to make my little boy happy, also great to see how farm life works everyone works so hard. My dogs have loved being on this farm they have loved every minute, settled right at in! I cant preach enough we will come back as we are visiting family near as well as partner doing courses. There is some beautiful sights here and breath taking views! Honestly you wont be disappointed! Ah and you must get the eggs and honey of sally! Supermarket ones just ain't going to cut it now! Thanks for your hospitality and how attentive you guys are nothing is a bother. See yous soon.
