    Please know that it worth travelling all the way from London for Lynn's bread and butter pudding. Seriously - her puddings are outstanding. Otherwise, the hotel maintains a really high standard of comfort and service.

    Popular with fisherfolk so you probably need to put your child's name down at birth if you wish to stay and fish here but they are (mostly not around at lunchtime). Friendly staff, excellent freshly prepared bar lunch menu - the homemade soups and sandwiches...More

    Stopped off on the way home for a cream tea. Beautiful day and we were able to sit outside in the sun - with no midges! Fresh scones, clotted cream and lovely tea made for a great lazy afternoon getting sunburnt. Definitely worth a visit....More

    Stayed here one night during a cross-country horse riding trip in May 2016. Wonderful rooms, clean, comfortable and modern. Breakfast was to die for. Friendly staff. I would have gladly stayed longer!
