This was our first night/first introduction to the Scottish B&B. The location of the Corriegour on Loch Lochy is lovely. The house itself is a pretty lodge. We loved the grounds and the dining room with all it's windows and fantastic views especially. The lady of the house was personable and very helpful. Our breakfast was very nice. We declined...

the lodge is very warm and friendly with a lovely family running it. The food is wonderful. The lodge itself is very comfortable and while a little faded, the overall ambiance works. Christian and James were always very hospitable and knowledgeable about the area. Our room was small but the bed was very comfortable and we went to sleep every...

We stayed for three nights in September and were immediately impressed by the warmth of the welcome. This hotel is run with love and attention by Christian, her son Iain and his cousin - all of whom are charming. Iain cooks - very well indeed. Our room was comfortable with a bath which is a decent length - much appreciated....

Spent 3 nights here. Like many others I found the dinner, etc. prices to be, well, ridiculous even though the quality and service were excellent. Owners and service staff are superb, friendly and helpful. Our room was small, cramped and poorly ventilated (unless you kept the window open and happen to enjoy bugs). The decor will remind you of your...

We chose this as a place to break our journey from Portree to Edinburgh and were very glad we did so. From the warm welcome from James to the comfortable room to the relaxing bar/lounge everything is conducive to a sense of comfort and relaxation. The view of the loch from the dining room is marvelous. We did not have...

This was the UNFawlty Towers experience. Everything is self-contained and easy to access. It is a wonderful B&Besque place with fantastic lake views. My travel agent found this place for our wife and I as we were driving through the Highlands. The food is incredible. Your manager, receptionist, bellman, and concierge is all the same guy - James. James is...

Stayed for just one night with my partner in late 2015 whilst driving through the highlands. We chose the hotel after a lot of research as we were looking for a place which captured the atmosphere and feeling of the highlands, or our perception of it, as we only had 4 days to spend in the highlands. We certainly were...

We had a wonderful 1 night stay here in late July, the view over the loch is so lovely from the dining room. The room was really beautiful and cosy. fantastic bed and the softest duvet ever! What can I say? This quint boutique hotel with a 5 star restaurant is well worth the trip. They're in an out of the way of tourists spot, but it is well worth the effort. Each room has its on flavor, all come with full bathrooms (showers, no tubs), so very cozy. The view of the Loch is fabulous &...

I vacationed with my family (husband, daughter, son in law and granddaughter) for 10 days in UK, and this was our first stop. I wish it had been our only stop, because the peacefulness and beauty of the area is truly amazing. The staff was courteous and helpful, always very quick to respond to any request made. The decor was...
