Great hotel and restaurant. Rooms very comfortable and food was amazing considering it is out of the village. An EV charging station has been installed to great for Tesla’s etc. The staff are friendly and courteous and can’t do enough for you. Highly recommended hotel.

Just about my favourite hotel and restaurant! Extremely beautiful setting and ultra comfy rooms that are dog friendly. Breakfasts are excellent and the restaurant menu, which has evolved over the years, is very good too.

The best experience, lovely property & rooms; not to mention the gorgeous views. The location for nature & history lovers is fantastic, trails literally acres the road from the driveway. But the dinner was absolutely delicious, the best meal I’ve ever eaten. We had both vegans & omnivores, we all felt it was the fantastic! I highly recommend this property for location, quality, service & value.

Excellent service and great stay in the middle of the Highlands! The property is well kept, and staff are extremely nice. Staff offered tea upon checkin, rooms were very clean and they even offered to wash and fold a load of laundry for us, for only a small fee. Laundry services in the highlands are hard to come by, so this was great! They also have a very cozy lounge. The only minor downsides were that the lock/keys for the room were very vintage, you could actually see through the keyhole so we put a bit of cotton inside it during the night. Also, the bathroom vents did not seem to vent the humidity well, so we cracked the bedroom window while showing to reduce the humidity. Overall, we enjoyed our stay and would visit again.

The owners could not do enough to help us and the food was excellent. The rooms were very comfortable and a spacious bathroom with lovely fluffy white towels so fortunate with lovely weather so the views over to Ben Nevis were wonderful. Very friendly goats roamed the grounds as well.

This is a lovely, remote and modern hotel with beautiful wooded surroundings. The rooms are large, comfortable and include a walk-in shower with excellent water pressure. The restaurant is available by reservation and the dinner menu has something for everyone. Breakfast is included and has options from scones to the full Scottish breakfast. Meals are plentiful and excellent. There are plenty of walking trails immediately available through quiet pastures and gorgeous woods. Truly a lovely place to be in nature.

Having driven passed this establishment many times over many years it has always been on my ‘to do’ list.. I rang on impulse from Fort William to see if they had a table available... 6pm on a Sunday night.. and they said yes! Lousy wifi in Fort William meant we didnt know what the menu or price would be.... but sometimes life is just too short!! Peaceful woodland setting with views of Ben Nevis.. still touched with snow. 5 course menu for £55 brought us the most incredible food we have tasted for years.. the attention to detail and the presentation were immaculate, the flavours to die for. Asparagus, almonds and jersey royals - starter.. main was venison haunch with the best haggis I have EVER tasted.. ginger posset with rhubarb - pre dessert. and the chocolate mousse had us surreptitiously wiping the plate with our finger! Front of house staff were lovely, the waitress in particular was charming, very professional and natural. My thanks to all concerned. We will be back!

Just one of the nicest places we have ever stayed. Beautiful location, views of Ben Nevis greet you each day. The hotel is very cozy, and very quiet. Our room was not especially big but it was very comfortable and very clean. Each afternoon, the hotel serves tea/coffee, drinks, and sweets in two very cozy sitting areas. It’s a great way to meet your fellow guests. But the on-site restaurant is the big draw here. They served a 5-course prix fixe dinner: pre appetizer, appetizer, main, pre-dessert, and dessert. I mean, seriously: a meal with 2 desserts is a dream come true. Each course was expertly plated. Service was wonderful: attentive, not hovering. Noise levels very tolerable. We had a day to ourselves, and Ken graciously arranged for a taxi service to take us to the Glen Nevis Road so we could hike to Steall Falls (at our cost, of course). We highly recommend a stay here!

This is a lovely, very comfortable hotel in a beautiful and quiet location. The food and service in the restaurant were top class and we also very much enjoyed being served drinks and afternoon tea as soon as we arrived, a really welcoming touch.
