Considering that it was almost accidental that we were able to book rooms in this lovely place (Dorothy had only released them as available the hour before we booked them), we felt incredibly fortunate. The location suited us exactly: off the beaten path, very quiet, great views from the second floor room, plenty of walks without even getting back in... More

My wife and I had a very nice stay. The hosts were friendly and accommodating. Dorothy and her daughter made us feel very welcome (Joe was not around during our stay). Engaging in conversation when needed and let us be as appropriate. The house is well kept/tidy on the inside and a beautiful yard and gardens outside. The area is... More

Just came back from a two night stay here with friends, Dorothy was so lovely and made us feel very welcome. Dorothy rang to advise that they may not be in when we arrived but to make ourselves comfortable and then she introduced herself when she got back and was so friendly and helpful and booked a table for us... My girlfriend and I stayed here and we were very impressed with the room clean and tidy and with good views of the mountains. Located just outside Spean Bridge but with good access to the Ben Nevis mountain range. The host was great and provided us with some great local knowledge and places to visit and she does a great... We stayed in this lovely place over May Bank Holiday week-end 2016. The owners, Dorothy and Joe, were exceptionally kind, considerate, helpful and charming. Nothing seemed to be too much trouble for them. The room was clean and very, very quiet. Although a short walk from the village of Spean Bridge, the location is beautiful. It is so, so peaceful... The small guest house is just outside of speak bridge, but still close enough to Ben Nevis and Fort William do all the hiking and shopping you want to do. Dorothy is the sweetest host, very concerned about her guests well being and super helpful. Breakfast is made fresh to order. Maps are available. The rooms are very cozy and... More

Dorothy was a lovely hostess, who ensured I was made welcome as soon as i arrived. She was very helpful in suggesting local places to go for dinner. Room was very comfortable and Dorothy made sure that I had all that I needed each day for breakfast (and a packed lunch).

Myself and three friends stayed at the Coinachan guest house for three nights over the past weekend. We were greeted by Dorothy when we arrived and made to feel very welcome. As we were walking up Ben Nevis the next day she showed us their view of the Mountain and gave us all advice in preparation including weather forecasts. The... More
