We stayed in Walber cottage. Had a Lovely weekend. The Cottage is cosy and warm. The cottage has everything you need. Our dogs loved the paddock to run in. The WiFi is very good. Easy parking. The Victoria Inn is definitely worth a visit. Great food and is dog friendly too.

Thank you, Siân and John for your warm welcome. We are enjoying our three week stay in Starling Cottage. This is well-equipped and cosy. Moorshead Farm is conveniently located for exploring the nearby heritage coast and the historic attractions of the Vale of Glamorgan. We have visited several pubs, restaurants and cafes, serving good quality food. Our trainee guide dog enjoyed our paddock.

We stayed for Six nights with our Welsh Springer Spaniel. Stone cottage. Compact but adequate space. Second bedroom with bunk beds. Used the wood burning stove but quite warm anyway. Everything worked. Space for car outside front door. Small, fenced, lawned back garden - ideal for letting the dog out. Friendly but unobtrusive hosts live on site. Waitrose Tesco etc a couple of miles away in Cowbridge. Victoria Pub within walking distance and dog friendly

We stayed in Starling cottage, a one bedroom cottage with a very comfortable couch and good reception on the TV. The cottage is close to the village of Cowbridge where you can buy all your supplies to self cater. The kitchen has all the equipment needed to make all meals. For a night off the Victoria Inn is a pleasant stroll away and has the biggest menu we have seen! The cottages are set in a quiet rural location and the owners are pleasant and helpful but not intrusive.

Bijou but beautifully equipped for a couple to stay in. Comfy bed made up with crisp, clean hotel quality bed linen. Plenty of storage space and hangers. Cottage was all very clean and tidy: easy to use cooker, microwave and heating. Wood fire stove made for a nice Autumn warm up on a couple of evenings. We really appreciated the fact the wood is there and you are not expected to pay extra for it. Quiet and private location but easy to get to from main roads. Plenty of good farm shops in area or supermarkets. Also some good pubs in the locality We only met John on this occasion- he was a convivial host. We found him very helpful but not intrusive. Excellent communication throughout from booking onwards. We want to go again and already trying to work out when we can manage another stay

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Warbler Cottage in early August. The cottage is small - 2 person - but spacious, comfortable and fully equipped for self catering, having a living room, separate bedroom and en-suite bathroom. There are four cottages with free parking, wi-fi and access to a pleasant adjacent meadow. John and Sian, the owners, are extremely accommodating and helpful and the place has a nice relaxed feel to it. The location is pleasantly rural with lots of walks and attractive villages nearby, and a pleasant pub - the Victoria Inn - just half a mile down the road. Nearby attractions include the Welsh Coast Path, pleasant market town of Cowbridge and historic town of Llantwit Major. Cardiff can easily and conveniently be reached via the A48 in 40 minutes or so and other coastal attractions including the beautiful Gower Peninsula are also reachable by car. This was our first visit to the South Wales area but we were really impressed by the facilities and will certainly be back for further exploration of the beautiful Vale of Glamorgan.

Beautiful cottage. Contains all you need for a very comfortable stay. Great pub just down the road for for food. Cowbridge is also not far for any shopping. Hosts are also very friendly and polite. We will be back!

We stayed in cottage number 1, Wren Cottage, from the 16th to 20th February 2018 and had a fantastic time. This is a really cozy, homely, welcoming property with a log burning fire which is ideal to come in to on a chilly day out walking on the hills round about. Cardiff City Centre is only 30 minutes drive away and some fantastic beaches a matter of 10-20mins, there are also some very good local pubs too. The cottage is set in a small courtyard of four properties adjacent to the owners house and approached down some very narrow, twisty lanes. Even though Cardiff is so close the property does feel well away from civilization so it's a great place to just relax, unwind and enjoy the sound of silence

We needed to find dog friendly accommodation in a rush and John and Sian could help. The cottage was amazing ! Every comfort you could wish for, warm and beautiful and spotlessly clean. Character and convenience in one. We could not recommend highly enough.
