This is a great little place with limited services. Cabin room is clean, basic, and modern. It did have a mini fridge. There is a path downhill to the underpass, where you can walk about 10 minutes to the center of town. Easy enough for those with normal mobility. Hard to find with GPS - the key here is, it is NOT on the roundabout that is the primary exit to the Cowbridge high street, rather, it is the PRIOR roundabout immediately to the west where you must exit and drive through a sort of golf course looking environment, past the Forage farm shop and kitchen. Not well sign marked at all. Once there it is real easy, and you enter by code which you receive in email. Cowbridge has limited options for loading in town - this makes a good value option if you don't need a lot of attention.

Booked for one night to attend a friend’s daughter baby shower in the area. As we had a personal family issue I sent a message to say we could make it. The telephone number advertised went through to the farm office hence the message The establishment did not even bother to respond to the message. No doubt because they didn’t want to refund my money Surely a simple message is not too much to ask.

Anonymous and poorly equipped wooden cabin located in a farm shop/ restaurant adjacent to the A48.. Entry by keypad ( number sent in advance). Did not see anyone from the establishment for our entire 5 night stay. It would have been nice to have had an information pack with Wi-Fi info and route into town rather than just a list of numbers to call in case of a problem. Room was sparse with just a bed, a small dressing table and a fridge with a kettle and mugs. . Nowhere to sit except the bed. Nowhere to hang clothes, not even a coat hook. No drawers. Tea making facilities consisted of 6 milk pods and 4 teabags. Not replenished during stay. Toiletries consisted of 1 miniature shower gel and shampoo. Not even any hand soap. Shower room was dirty , cobwebs, grime, dead flies. No hairdryer. No glasses. Travelodge is better equipped! Farm shop café unwelcoming. No breakfast without a reservation. Did not want to use the takeaway as we would have had to take it back to the cabin and sit on the bed, fortunately a Costa in town which was friendly and welcoming.

Stayed here for the night after a vinyard tour. Very pleasantly surprised! Lush rooms, very clean with a small fridge, microwave, tea and coffee facilities and en suit. Would happily stay here again. Personally I would be taking my own pillows next time as I did'nt find theirs comfortable. Village with pubs and tesco express within walking distance (approximately 5 min walk).

We initially found the cabins difficult to locate as the post code took us to an entrance no longer used. Which would explain the gesturing by someone parked in the entrance. However, I’m not clairvoyant and didn’t understand what his problem was. After driving on 1 car roads for the next 30 mins, I rang the cabins number and was given more directions to find ‘the new roundabout’ 😳. We eventually found the cabins and entered our room. The room was small but nicely decorated in pleasant surroundings. It was well insulated, therefore the noise from the busy A48 couldn’t be heard. The reasons for 3 stars is as follows: The double bed was too small (our preference not the cabins fault). We didn’t get a decent nights sleep. The shower cubicle could do with a good bleaching due to mould and soap / water marks. This may seem picky, but it gave the immediate impression that it hadn’t been cleaned. However, all in all, it’s a nice place and if on business and alone, I would be happy to use again. The farm shop / cafe nearby did breakfast which was expensive for what was presented. We were asked if we had booked a table, which we hadn’t. We were shown to (as explained) the ‘only table available’. Where we could see and hear customers entering the cafe. At least 6 to 8 people attended, also without booking, who were accommodated without being told there was only one table available and made to feel awkward 🫤. The attending waitresses (host) attitude was quite rude and not customer oriented. We were not made to feel welcome.

Good base to meet up with our family/lots of cousins etc - room/studio very dirty & full of dust. Bathroom was not good - very dirty / shower curtain was black as was the shower tray - the dust obviously had mounted up - the windows were filthy - it’s a shame - The very expensive Forage Farm shop & restaurant had obviously had a lot of money spent on it but not our accommodation. I wouldn’t normally post this on trip advisor but have emailed ‘Cowbridge Cabins’ with our reviews but have had no reply. The single bed springs were awful - you just couldn’t sleep in it - the tiny wooden tray to make a cup of tea was just awful - it’s such a shame we’ve taken pics and emailed Cowbridge cabins too - it’s a good base for us for family but We could not go back due to the cleanliness of the place.

A decent find this - I guess relatively new as it was pinned onto the new built adjoining farm shop. For the record: don’t follow the sat Nav here: as it takes you to the back of the site and a note on a barrier telling you to double back on yourself. The cabins are located off the A48. Follow the roundabout off to the farm shop (clearly located) and you’ll see the cabins in front of you, as you drive past the farm shop with it on your left. The cabins are clean, spacious and warm with an easily access process to gain entry - I received an SMS with the PIN code for the keypad on the door. The cabins (I was in Beech) had tea & coffee making facilities, lovely double bed (with a single in there too), TV and spacious shower and toilet. There was programmable heating / radiator too. Parking is immediately behind the cabins and the walk into Cowbridge is an easy 10 minute stroll. Breakfast it available for additional charge at the farm shop, but I met back up with family and had breakfast back in Cowbridge (@ the Penny farthing by the way, where the service and food was excellent). I would recommend it and stay again. Checkout was 10am, (which was a little light for a Sunday start 😉😅).

We stayed in a Cabin last weekend to attend a family birthday in Cowbridge. The Cabins are lovely in a pretty, peaceful setting. The room was very comfortable. We had twin beds, a pull up table and 2 chairs , a shower, loo and basin, a little fridge, hanging space and a tea making facility. Outside, each Cabin has its own picnic table and we took advantage to sit out in the evening which was lovely. Our only comment is that the tea making facility is too small (on a wall in the corner). It would be better on a small table, lower down. There could also be a couple of tumblers available. THANK YOU. We will undoubtedly be back
