Passion Boutique Hotel is situated right by the Indian Ocean, Our hotel got its name after the famously loved fruit in Zanzibar- the passion fruit, but it also has a second meaning to us, it is truly a “passion” project. We see it as more than a hotel; it is a place we treat like home, and our goal is to create the same special feeling for our guests. Our mission is to offer a personalized hotel experience to each of our guest. The hotel design is inspired by nature and local surroundings. It is a perfect combination of natural surfaces, earthy tones, no ,,noise,, and just modern luxury with the touch of authenticity. All woodwork is handmade by local carpenters, the furniture in the rooms is from dhow wood, which is iconic to Zanzibar, as it is the re-used wood of our local fisherman boats. Spend your day by the pool or on the rooftop terrace enjoying the breathtaking ocean view, taste the Zanzibar-inspired food with our twist in our restaurant, and unplug from everyday life.

The hotel is straight on the beach. Despite water tides there are absolutely perfect swimming possibilities in the morning as well as evening.
The hotel is new, rooms are huge and nicely decorated. A comfortable bed, a big balcony. A few sunbeds and a pool. Very good wifi. There are all toiletters, body lotion, hair conditioner , hairdryer, beach towels, bathrobes, kettle, a selection of teas and drinking water as well as ice machine provided in the room.
But a few things are missing: no coffee bags, no small spoones and napkins in the room.
There is no TV but I did not need it at all.
The restaurant of the hotel was nice but still needs some improvement : two lobsters that we ordered were half row and parts of it were impossible to eat, the next day grilled octopus was extremely hard and impossible to chew. I wish the restaurant have at least a few Swahili dishes to experience more of Zanzibar.
In general it is really a very nice hotel. I am not sure is it better than the others arround but I had a lovely stay.
Many thanks to Laura the manager of the hotel . She is so nice, friendly and helpful person. She organised an unforgetable Jambiani village tour for us and fantastic Sunday evening party. I would definetely come again to this hotel.

Passion Boutique Hotel was by far the best hotel during our stay throughout Tanzania and Zanzibar. We only spent 2 nights, but I wish we had booked more! Not only is the hotel absolutely beautiful, but the staff is wonderful! Laura was so helpful even before we arrived. She reached out to me via email, to see if we needed to arrange airport transfers and sent me the link to sign up for my post return travel COVID test. The hotel sits right on the beach with all the rooms facing the water. The room was huge with a/c (which was a treat), a water/ice maker and local soaps and shampoos that smelled wonderful. We were lucky to have live entertainment, a jazz band, on one of the nights we stayed. The band was fantastic and made for such a fun night without even having to leave the hotel. The food and cocktails were great throughout our entire stay! I mentioned to the receptionist about wanting to get a henna tattoo and she called and had someone come to the hotel to do it for me! We had considered doing a day trip somewhere on one of the days we were staying at the hotel, but we decided against it because we were having too much fun relaxing at the hotel! But they do arrange a variety of tours/day trips if you’re interested! Since they didn’t have another guest coming on our day of checkout, they let us stay the entire day (our flight was at 11pm). This was the nicest thing a hotel had ever done for us and made our day so incredibly relaxed before our long 15hr flight. It was so appreciated and I could not recommend this hotel more! If you’re thinking about booking a stay here, DO IT! It will be the best stay of your trip!

I've got such a nice time in Passion Boutique.
From the beginning the atmosphere was truly wonderful, my late check-in wasn't a problem at all and what I saw first were smiled faces of the manager and the rest of the team.
My room, I rather call it an oasis of peace because of the nature colours, handmade details and stunning ocean view, was perfectly clean and so comfortable.
In the restaurant I've tried extremely delicious food. Composition of fresh, colourful, deep tasted ingredients are quintessence of Zanzibar's cuisine, all of that you will definitely find in Passion Restaurant. Combination of culinary impressions with incredible ocean view were honestly one of my favourites experienced in Jambiani.
I truly recommend.

My stay in Passion was outstanding!
Let’s start with the view to the beautiful Indian Ocean’s coast and Jambiani beach.
My room had a ocean view so I loved to chill at the terace, enjoy it and reading one of the books that you can easily find everywhere in the hotel.
I had a feeling that I’m visiting friends at their house- Laura was the kindest person that I ever saw in my life. She was very helpful and she was making sure that every second that we spend in Zanzibar will be memorable!
The staff was amazing - the bardenders, the receptionist and the housekeeping was extremely educated and nice with every single person.
Make sure that you will get pancakes with passion fruit ( guilty me ,gain 2 kilos cuz I was eating them for breakfast, lunch and dinner). The breakfast is full also with traditional food and exotic fruits.
Thank you,Todi ,for sharing so much for you culture!
Thanks to the housekeeping staff for keeping my room that clean and pure.
Thanks for the best bartender and future singer for showing us some places around!
And once again ,Thank you Laura for seriously everything that you done for us during our stay.
Been to 25 countries, never ever saw anyone else that is that good in hospitality business.
And it’s not goodbye,it’s see you soon my friends!
Hakuna matata!Greetings from Bulgaria!

Dimitrina

Where should I start? The hotel looks amazing, the fingerprints of someone who loves the place and have great eye for details are everywhere. Best service, relaxing atmosphere, catering to our every need. The best vacation possible.
Staff was very accommodating, hotel owner Laura made sure we had food, despite arriving very late at night. My kids were picky with food, not a problem, next meal they got everything they liked.
Always try the local fish, the restaurant in the hotel always have the freshest catch of the day and it changes based on the day's catch.
The Jambiani village is very nice, friendly and safe, we walked there during the night (keep the phone lights up) and shopped there during the day.
Thank you all in Passion hotel to make this a memorable vacation,we are sure to come back!

I spent wonderful days in Passion Boutique. From the entrance you can feel a special energy in this hotel, the food, the staff and everything you find here is an experience you rarely find. Madalina, the manager of the location, was very helpful, offering us all the support during the stay. The location is very quiet, intimate, offering 8 rooms for guests. The pool and the nature nearby is amazing. The rooms are equipped with everything you need and have a modern design combined with local elements. Accommodation is a big part of the experience in any destination. I can say with my hand on my heart that this accommodation remains among my favorite places and whenever I have the opportunity I will return here. Hugs until next time, beautiful people!

This one is one of my top favourite hotels I`ve ever stayed. Hotel is just so beautiful and stunning ocean view from every single room. The rooms are really spacious, very clean, homely, cozy and well designed, so you can feel yourself like home.
The staff is wonderful- always helpful and kind, special thanks to the brilliant manager Laura, sweet little Agnes and endlessly smiling Tyron.
It seems we`ll be back!

While I didn't try all of the restaurants in Zanzibar, I CAN safely say this is the best! I'll be real, I live in Brooklyn, I travel often to Caribbean, Mediterranean, etc, I like amazing food and have high expectations, and this place blew my mind!
We stayed for 3 nights after safari in Tanzania and although we had rainy weather, the large chic decorated room with very comfortable bed was just what we needed. Normally when it comes to staying in a hotel and eating, we like to adventure out and explore.. The first night we decided to have food at the hotel and our jaws dropped. The seafood risotto was perfection, my partner had a curry dish which was equally as good. We met a couple at dinner who was not staying there but came for dinner and they said the same thing, that this place was the best food they found on the island and kept coming back for dinner! The bar makes drinks with fresh juices, they have a wonderful wine selection, the included breakfast was delicious and you could have it basically any time!
Passion Boutique hotel is the perfect hub for visiting Zanzibar, in particular Jambiani. There are things to see and do towards the north (Blue Lagoon) and the south! Make sure you check the tides for your visit so you know what to expect, Zanzibars low tides are very low and tough to swim during low tide, but you can easily take a cab to the northern beaches where its less extreme. Trust me, its worth coming back to this hotel as your home base! The hospitality and passion ;-) of the staff was unmatched, be sure to utilize them to help you get cabs to get out and explore or set up a Dhow boat trip to the southern end of the island. Such a comfortable and great relaxing stay, highly recommend!

We really found one of the best places in Zanzibar. The perfect beach boutique hotel, perfect hosts, breathtaking views and infinity pool. The rooms were modern and attention to detail was evident. The food at the restaurant was well made and each meal we chose became our favourite. Laura was absolutely amazing and made sure we were comfortable. Tyron, the restaurant manager really goes out of his way to ensure that you enjoy your meals and gave guidance on various activities in the area. Then there’s Benjamin, the receptionist, the most friendly and welcoming guy I’ve met, he made our stay easy. Let’s not forget the hotel dog, welcoming all tourist at the door and it was a delight having her around. We definitely recommend this place to friends and family, and might just be back in future. Thanks to everybody for the amazing stay.

The genuine warmth and the "above and beyond" approach from Laura, Tyrone and the staff at Passion Boutique are what makes this Boutique hotel one of the best we have stayed at in the world!!!

The rooms are amazing, cleanliness throughout the hotel is spot on, the location is fab and the ambience is exactly what we wanted/needed. The daily specials definitely add a touch of diversity to the menu and the cocktails aren't too bad either;)

I highly recommend this gorgeous slice of heaven in Zanzibar. I would also add it is probably better suited for couples or singles as opposed to families - mainly due to the size of the hotel and amenities.

THANK YOU awesome Passion Boutique Hotel team, you made our stay unreal!
