Let me start by saying I've never actually reviewed a place before, this place however compelled us to leave a rating. As far as being a budget traveler this place was a great splurge for us. I'd go ahead and say what really had us writing this review is the quality of the restaurant. The food and staff for what...

Stayed here for 4 nights, the accomodation and location were just what we were after. Above all I was impressed with the restaurant, some of the best seafood I've ever tasted and a daily changing menu. I wouldn't hestitate recommending Mbuyuni Beach Village to others.

Very nice bungalows on a very peaceful beach. Food was fine and reasonably priced - fortunately as it was Ramadan and there weren't any outside options! If you want action it's not really the place, though there's kite surfing etc a bit down the coast. Nice little pool

What a fantastic hotel! We travelled here from Nungwi for the second, more chilled out part of our holiday and that is exactly what we got. If you want bars, lots of places to eat out and lots of people then this isn't the place for you. However if you want some peach and quiet, amazing views, the beach right...

The resort was excellent by budget standards and the personal really friendly and helpful and they all provided a personal touch to the visit. I do not dare to name all personal here since I would surely forget somebody. We had a great time during our 10 days at the resort. It is located in between Jambiani and Paje. It...

We had a very relaxing time here, chilling out on the hammocks and walking on the beach. The bungalows are incredibly basic, a bed, an open shower, and a terrace which is rarely used for anything new other than drying towels and swimwear. The food isn't fantastic however given the location there aren't many other options as the high tide...

I loved this place - just paradise! Had a cottage just on the beach for a week. It was hot and sticky in the room and the showers werent the best but I didnt mind. Its such a beautiful and tranquil place. And the food was amazing, I never had a bad meal here. Will go back one day.

I can absolutely recommend this place, it's peaceful, the location is amazing. The food is amazing, chef Ali has cooked me some of the best seafood meals I've ever had! The staff are great and can book you any trip you want to go on. The rooms have everything you will ever need. It's not luxury but you can't need...

I LOVED everything about the hotel. The hotel is amazing- big rooms with patios, hammocks all over the property, a lovely pool and lounge chairs and umbrellas. The hotel has a real local feel to it, which I prefer over huge resorts. It is on a quiet spot on the beach- not in town so its not a high traffic...
