The property is 7 minutes walk from the central beach front and the Sea Garden. The family- run Guest House Fotinov is situated in the city center just a step from the main pedestrian Bogoridi street . Burgas airport is 10 km away. Port of Burgas , the central bus and train station are at 200 meters distance away. There is a supermarket, an ATM , change buro , SPA center , shopping center as well as a set of bars , restaurants with bulgarian and international cuisine and a newly opened brewery offering craft beers on tap in the neighbourhood area. Guest House Fotinov offers economic rooms, rooms with balcony and a family room on the top floor , decorated in bright colours, each equipped with air conditioning, flat screen TV ,high speed internet, small fridge, working desk and a private bathroom with shower. The hosts offer books for rent from a private library and an information desk with the public transport schedule, city’s sights ,events and attractions. Each morning free coffee, tea ,snacks or seasonal fruits are offered in the self catering kitchenette area on the ground floor. There is a public parking in front of the property with a surcharge. My trip to Burgas was work related and I stayed here, on the top floor, for a week. I was embraced by the hospitality and immediately felt like visiting old friends. The room was spacious, the bed was comfortable, and it had all the necessary amenities. The location could not have been better, right next to everything essential in Burgas. Definitely will stay here again.

I really enjoyed my stay in this little hotel. My room was on the top floor with a beautiful view to the main pedestrian street. Everything was walkable restaurants shops and beach! Staff members were so friendly and helpful. One morning somebody knocked my door: I was brought strawberries. You have to dry the bathroom with a spatula because there is not a curtain for a shower but the floor gets dry very quickly. There is no lift.

This little hotel is very centrally located with great balconies. Ask the penthouse if you do not need a lift. Staff was really helpful and they knew enough English for my needs. Fridge and coffee=tea facilities were available in the room.

We booked the family rooms on the top floor for 3 of us. The rooms were fantastic and the balconies were an added bonus. Comfy beds, good facilities and felt secure/safe there. Staff friendly (FYI: the night staff didn't speak English) and had a pleasant stay. Snacks and hot drinks provided in the morning, but there wasn't milk for tea/coffee and the 'snacks' were just gingerbread biscuits, so don't count on eating breakfast there.

This guesthouse is located in the centre of town near both the railway station and bus station. This, along with the 24 hour reception, were the biggest pluses; our bus from Turkey arrived at 3 a.m. and we were grateful to have somewhere to go. Apart from this, we were disappointed. Of the three staff members we encountered, only one smiled or greeted us in any way. The other two were cold and sullen, bordering on hostile. The room itself was fine for this price, but when it is 3 degrees outside, a thin polyester quilt on the bed doesn't cut it. Blankets would have been nice.

Dear Raymond, Thank you for giving us feedback for your stay.It seems that you liked our 24 hours service and location ,but you are disappointed with the staff not greeting you.That is useful for me as an owner.The other thing is that it was cold during your stay and the cover on the bed was not warm enough.We usually put the blankets and covers in the wardrobe and you probably did not ask at the reception and could not find it. Fotinov guesthouse is a small, 4-story building with 3 average-sized rooms on each floor, no elevator. The guesthouse is located right in the center of the city, just steps away from the main pedestrian streets and about 10-15 minutes stroll to the beach. There is parking available for the guests at the nearby hotel Fors, which is located a block away, so a short walk is required. The breakfast is also served there. Nearby are so many different places to eat and get coffee so the lack of restaurant is not an issue at all. Rooms are cleaned daily. Most of the rooms have access to a small balcony with couple of chairs to sit and enjoy the summer mornings or evenings. The linens are clean and the towels are replaced often. Each room has a separate air conditioner. The staff is very friendly and accommodating and they will help if there is an issue. The street noise level is fine, especially if you are facing south or southwest. Not sure about the east side which is right above the street. Of course, there are the seagulls and other birds that create a unique morning sound picture but this is one of the charms of the city of Burgas. The hotel offers free WiFi (you have to ask the receptionist for the password) and a small fridge and TV in each room. There is also a fridge in the lobby where you can buy a soft drink.…

Guest house staff was friendly, the room was clean and good size for me. The breakfast is served at Hotel Fors which is very near from this guest house. The location is very convenient for sightseeing and shopping!

To visitors of Bourgas, I found myself at the Guest House Fotinov purely by chance. I spent four nights there and can highly recommend it. The rooms are clean and bright with good ventilation. The bathrooms are fresh and clean. The location is fantastic, just off the main pedestrian street which leads to the sea garden and has many cafes and restaurants. But mostly I was impressed with the staff, they were genuinely interested in making my stay comfortable, offering advice and directions on things to see and do in the city. I found them all to be very sincere and helpful throughout my stay. Highly recommended

The guest house is located just in the center down, walking distance to everywhere. In general the rooms are nice, cleaned every day, but though there was a "non smoking" sign, our room smelt unpleasantly. Staff was helpful and breakfast was provided in another hotel just 50 meters away. Breakfast was simple - coffee, bread, eggs, tomatoes, cucumber and pastries. Positive is that besides white bread they even had a bit darker bread ( though You cannot name it dark bread). Negative is that the second day they did not have any milk or even cream with coffee, which was really surprising! and the darker bread did not look fresh, was stiff ( not edible). In general for Bulgaria the guest house is a bit expensive, it is Okay to stay for couple of days. NB! There is a really nice coffee shop just 20 meters away from the Guest house, which was the most pleasant thing about it!…

I was very happy to notice that this location is one of the best places if you want to be in the center, close to the shops as well as close to the beach. Nice place to start for a visit of the city, the port and so on.
