Situated on the Bulgarian Southern Black Sea Coast, Santa Marina Holiday Village is 424 km east of Sofia (the country's capital) and just 34 km south of Bourgas - the city that hosts one of Bulgaria's biggest airports. Neighboring the ancient town of Sozopol (just 2 km to the south...
The apartment was huge on the top floor, with two balconies, a kitchen, dining area, living room and large bedroom. The hotel is a half hour walk to sozopol centre and approx. 20 minutes to the ferry.
I felt as if we must have come...More

I stayed at the complex for 7 nights and enjoyed each day. Clean apartments with air conditioning, housekeepers came every day and cleaned the apartment. The complex is huge but there is a bus (golf buggy type) that takes you all over the complex. The...More

Thank you very much for the review and rate. We are always glad to know that our guests had a relaxing stay and it met their expectations. We are looking forward to meeting you again in Santa Marina Holiday Village.
This was our first trip to the hotel, indeed to Bulgaria and we were not disappointed, especially with our accommodation. A lovely, modern, spacious room with a nice view of the gardens and a little of the Black Sea! Our cleaner was lovely who did...More
We stayed here for a few days in May and would definitely stay here again. We booked a one-bedroom suite and received a two-bedroom suite with kitchen. The whole complex had a very western feel to it, and despite being practically empty we quite enjoyed...More

Hello, in my opinion, it is a family friendly hotel complex mainly due to its 5 pools and small, private part of the beach accessible from the lift. So if your litttle boy likes swimming, you will be fine! There is a cafe/bakery that I mentioned in my review that that has a small children’s play area inside, I recall, as well as few things outside. It’s open in the evenings too, when we went. In terms of day time entertainment, they have hotel reps that offer a wide variety of activities such as in arts and crafts etc across the pool areas on specific days/times for all ages. Our 10 year old daughter painted/decorated a mug, for example. There were magic shows on too but we missed them! There isn’t anything outside the hotel such as a playground etc so in that sense, it’s a bit isolated. I don’t think they have a actual playground within the hotel complex either but don’t quote me on that! Sozopol isn’t far though, especially if you use the hotel shuttle train that’s very regular....only takes 10 mins or so. There, there is a nice park area there in the old town with various amusements, children’s rides and so on. Hope that all helps! It’s a lovely hotel and complex and a lovely country so I’m sure you will enjoy yourselves, whatever you do!
