This hotel couldn't have a better location for exploring the lovely little walled old city of Langres. Right in the heart of everything--making ventruing out on foot very easy. A free local parking lot is only about a block away as well. Our room was quite large and very charming--incorparting the original architecture (looked like a church? There was even... More

the best rooms are the club rooms which are opposite the main hotel - more spacious and contemporary; the rooms in the hotel are a bit smaller and not as quiet. however the whole Hotel is pretty fabulous - great service and a wonderful restaurant; and the décor is AMAZING !!! we have stayed here several times enroute to the... We came across this by accident but loved it. Beware no lift or parking. We had to bring our bags about 200m from the free municipal car park. Very comfortable room but there was a frosted glass window between the bathroom and the bedroom which was a bit off Putting. Rooms a bit noisy.

Le Cheval Blanc is just exceptional great staff who are expertly managed. This stay we were across the road from the hotel in a suite of very lovely rooms in the old house. Car was taken away and parked and after a long day travelling we had our usual walk around the city ramparts. Eating at the hotel is a... More

Great hotel in a former abbey. Charming welcome - really helpful and friendly. Nice rooms - good bathroom and shower. No air conditioning but the room was cool anyway. Great restaurant and first class breakfast in the morning.

We booked an apartment for 4 for a pitstop en route south after it was recommended to us. Comfortable, well appointed apartment. Restaurant well thought of though we didn't eat there on this occasion.

We stayed here with our sons of 17 and 20 on Friday night on our way back from the South of France. The hotel is in the walled town of Langres and four and a half hours drive from Calais. The rooms in the hotel are comfortable and ensuite. They have a covered garage but we managed to park on... More

This was only booked as it was about half way back to Calais and we knew we'd need to break the journey. By the time we left we were thinking about how we could incorporate it again into a future trip. We had a room in a building opposite the hotel which had everything you could want. Out motorbike was... More

Stayed one night for quick stop-over on way to south of France - Langres is exactly half way. The hotel exceeded our expectations- fantastic room (more like suite) and bathroom. Arrived too late to try restaurant - looked very good - will definitely come back. Not much in Langres - but very pretty town to walk around.
